These children are probably on the front lines in Ukraine today

    • The "commander" said 10 years after Afghanistan. Post Chechnya, Putin's first war where he launched attacks and blamed Chechen "terrorists" of attacks to justify an invasion. So, I would estimate 1999-2000 making them exactly the men who were sent to Ukraine. This was likely the purpose of the camp. The images of Putin and religious links all connect to his cult of personality. The "criminals" they learn to fight is whatever Putin says are criminals, or Nazis. This was an indoctrination camp. A strategic operation to prepare a generation to restore the soviet state. F#ck Putin

    • Do we have 6ft posters of our PM in the cadet hall? Nope. Do we have any political indoctrination at cadets or anywhere else? Nope. I was field stripping SA80 rifles at their age and running about fields practising combat formations in the cold and dark and I never ever once knew anyone's views on politics, so no it is not the same. We see where this leads, look at this evil invasion of Ukraine for example.

  • I’m from Novosibirsk, grew up there. Every summer I’d see trucks full of 18 year old cadets like these 38:23 unloaded onto our streets and they walk around in packs of 20-30 soldiers catching Alcoholics and keeping peace in the streets. Summer time is when almost ALL of criminal activity stoped and it felt much safer staying out into late evenings as kids and people in general are just out and about more, feeling safe.

In ww2 the Serbs Chetniks were so deprived of aid by the allies that they had to use paper bandages, but they made them work. Sometimes it is what you have between your ears rather than kit in the hand.

  • I did army cadets in the UK, this is perfectly fine for children. It's the adults starting the wars that are the problem then sending young men to die. Having discipline, patriotism and leadership skills at a young age doesn't hurt your country, it's the opposite that does, which is quite apparent here in the UK.

  • This is the true side of Russia❗️ since this film was made in 2005, Russia Declared war in 2008 in my country Georgia, I can confirm that first-way the attackers were just a bunch of kids, aged 18-19 years old. Putin was hoping that Georgia doesn't have an Army so he send just kids to start a war. Unfortunately, the first way was defeated by Georgians, he was very angry and sent battalions that had real war experience. I think the same scenario goes for Ukraine, but he didn't manage that, in the 2008 war, the western world just closed its eyes and but nowadays the whole world knows the truth about Russia's ambition to recover the USSR.

Is it really possible that now, when shooters like Battlefield and Call of Duty are so popular, don’t children do the same thing only in the virtual world? Is it really possible that in other countries they raise warriors differently to protect the interests of the state? Is it really normal to grow up as a soy boy? I am sure that in this camp the boys will receive very useful skills for life in general, in addition to military training, they will learn self-discipline, overcome difficulties, and simply communicate in a male team. I would like to note that this camp is voluntary, no one is forced there, some of the guys, judging by the appearance, are not from the most prosperous families, and for them it would be better to end up in such a camp than to get involved with crime (and judging by the times when this video was filmed, back then it was still possible to encounter child crime on the streets) And by the way, maybe for children from disadvantaged families a military career is the only chance to make their way in life (and this is true not only in Russia, please note), and this camp will significantly improve their chances of entering a military university I would also like to remind you about the wonderful Ukrainian camp “Azovets”, where children did the same thing, only with the most powerful ideological pumping, and somehow there is no film about them, but they are probably also on the front line now... • Martial skills, regimentation, team work etc, are needed. If these categories of skills can't be done by the positive masculine role models at home, they could be taught from outside sources. This doc even mentioned how sluggish(my word), the kids have become. If its noticed in Russia, its an avalanche in the US. Their Mommies can't make them masculine.
