Can't help but think of Rocky driving in the middle of the night while remembering Apollo. Such a powerful symbolic song. God I miss the 80s....
80's rule forever
Hello I m I love you ROCKY🥊🇺🇲
I think in that scene, Rocky was as such incensed and horrified at the death of his friend and mentor Apollo but he was also insanely afraid (and who could blame him) of not only being killed by Drago but losing everything he had earned and he was reflecting on that during the drive. And his own wife doubting him must have added more bruises to him. This song being as tense and dark as it is absolutely captured the moment there.
Spot on! Ready for the Sothpaw

Eye of the Tiger was great, but I think this track was totally underrated in the Rocky franchise.
agreed, No Easy Way Out is a lot better than the movie's headlining song "Burning Heart"... I'd be honored if some Rocky fans would take a listen to my acoustic piano & vocal performance of EYE OF THE TIGER on my YT channel in tribute to Sylvester Stallone and Survivor. One of my favorite (and most embarrassing) moments of childhood is me and my family watching this in the theater. It's the final fight scene, Rocky is beating the hell out of Drago. My mom is so into it she stands straight up and yells "Atta boy, Rocky! Knock him on his ass!" And everyone turns to look. I love you and miss you, mama.
Love it!
I would do that too to be honest. Boxing movies these days don't have the same soul as Rocky

@@chungnung5487 I don't recall modern movies having sex scenes in them. I think you're confusing modern movies with random videos you've watched on the internet. The last time movies had sex scenes in them was like in the 80s or 90s. Also, even if there's sex scenes in them, so what? They could be good to have in movies anyway. The old 1984 movie The Terminator had a sex scene in it between Kyle Reese and Sarah Connor, yet everyone loves that movie.

***** Really? Its not just the 80's. There are few love songs anymore, Like zero songs use harmonizing,. Like zero songs use long creative lead guitar parts or even short crafty guitar parts. No horns in songs anymore ie trumpets, saxophones or even flutes. There are less instruments used, less detail in percussion recorded. Few bands or like zero today have two lead singers like ie Styx,The Beatles,The Cars etc etc... There are no bands like Pink Floyd,The Beatles,Journey,The Rolling Stones,ABBA and many many more like a hundred more today and recording sales are proof. This generation is not as creative and even movies, cars and clothes reflect my observation. It is universal knowledge that art of all types has fallen off a cliff. People are not as passionate anymore.
