@@MomoMomoyan he's just making a little fun from what Americans think a Frenchmen is like. A beret, a Breton stripe shirt (what French sailors wore back in the day), a bicycle (taxes are so high in France he can't afford an automobile) and the quintessential daily shop for a fresh baguette. If you're not American maybe the humor doesn't translate well. Kind of like how Europeans think Americans are all fat, loud and with perfect teeth.
I absolutely LOVE your sarcasm! Your opening was great!!!! You are so right: you MUST wear many hats to be able to do what you and Lincoln have done. I look at what you are doing and think, "No way WE could do this!" because my husband has no knowledge of electrical or house renovation issues and I am not good at painting. You are both very talented! Your paint colors and accessories are FANTASTIC! So rich yet subtle. I hope you and Lincoln are proud of your work; it is a masterpiece! 💗💗💗💗💗

I don’t know how I missed this tour two months ago but better late than never. You and Lincoln have done such a wonderful job with your chateau, I really love your rooms and now you are able to enjoy the fruits of all your labor. Of course, I know you still have lots more to do but please stop some and smell the roses. All work and no play can can burn out. I don't think you are going too slow. I like the donkey breaks, trips to the beach and even the grocery store. Your calm unfussy decorating style is very elegant and suits your property. I am not about to comment on how you are actually doing the work since I have never remodeled a chateau myself. I am a photographer and I ❤ your photography and your editing is so good I never notice it (to me this is always the goal). I hope your life brings you joy as you have added to mine.

Your chateau is absolutely beautiful. Every time you show your entrance hall and staircase, I can't get over how beautiful it is. The colour, the door, the light, etc., are amazing. You have great taste and I love how you layer your rooms. I’ve been a set designer for 20 years and find the last 15% of a room most people flounder over. This last layer is what creates the patina and reflects a person style. Bravo.
