Eating ice might relieve some of the symptoms of iron deficiency, but iron deficient anemia is a serious issue and not to be played with, especially if you are a female. it will make your menstrual cycles v unpleasant, as there will be an increased risk of negative symptoms due to the blood loss during your period. eating ice compulsively should not be used as a band-aid to cover up the issue. My mum started eating carrots by the bag full a couple years ago. All day she'd walk around with a carrot in her hand, at least going through 4-6 a day depending on the day sometimes even more. Eventually her skin literally started to take on a slight orange hue, it was discovered after 4-6 months of this going on that she had EXTREMELY low iron, required 2 blood transfusion, multiple bags of fluids, antibotics among other things and a weeks stay in hospital. Moral of the story, if you start craving something you don't normally eat a lot of and you can't seem to eat enough to satisfy yourself, probably best to go get your blood tested.

- @@caputm0rtuumalmost the same thing happened to me when i was pregnant but with icecubes, i thought it was a very intense and very long pregnancy craving but i discuss it with my doctor and she ask me to get my blood tested because she suspected low iron. Turns out i also had to get a iron perfusion Im very good now and i dont crave icecubes at all . Hope my answer will help !

In season-Garden fresh Carrots (and sugarsnap peas) taste worlds better than the ones sold at supermarkets year round, and they don’t actually need to be *dirty* as in unwashed but like you can leave them unpeeled and you can tell they were grown in the ground if that makes sense since you can kind of taste the sweet earthy flavour.. whereas supermarket carrots can be so bitter and bland, I no longer have a garden where I live and I genuinely miss snacking on fresh picked carrots in the summertime since they were so so good Also side comment my mom always thought the reason I was obsessed with sour candy was because she ate so much when she was pregnant with me..vs my other siblings who don’t like it and she didn’t eat any during those pregnancies.
