TPMVIDS!
Hi! :)
TPM VIDS, those are so surprising 😲, thanks for the video 📹!!!! By the way, I've been meaning to ask you something. Did you hear a rumor about Walt Disney World resort moving to Texas? My sister has mentioned it and I was just wondering if you had heard about it and what you think of it!
Guys did anyone else notice that mr potato’s eyes were changing colors
Hi
I actually love the Spider-Man crash! It sticks to his humor and works flawlessly with the follow-up of the actor. They should do that twice a day on purpose!
Lol to be honest that was hilarious 🤣😆😂😄😅😭
or like have it do it from time to time as a little easter egg, cause i suspect doing on purpose multiple times can damage the bot and the actual set
I was there that day it happened everyone was in shock I was literally on the the floor in tears 🤣🤣
it was histarical use your spider senses
that would get expensive quickly
I love how with the Spider-Man one they have different dialogue if there was a malfunction. At least that’s what it sounds like to me.
I'm wondering if that's the live actors watching and waiting to see which new scene-starter they need or if there's a system of "Net collision FALSE = Run Dialogue B" audio setups?
Imagine if that flying animatronics dropped on top of people that would have got hurt
@@deandresinclair i'm pretty sure he's designed in a way that even if he falls, he doesn't land on top of anyone, that thing can kill someone if not
@@Roadent1241 since the voice is tom holland's, i guess they just had him record it and then when they see/receive the notification that something is wrong, they play the audio
@@NoxilNobody Then it's the second option, the computer knows if it's hit the net or not. Good ear, I haven't learned Holland's voice yet.
Well, at least the SpiderMan stunt-tronic still works out when it fails 😂😂. He seems like the type of super hero that’s clumsy once in a while.
"Should we maintain and repair the animatronics during park closure/COVID shutdown, so we don't freak out the kids?" "Nah, the Walt Disney Company has no faith in our future generations, anyways."
Bro your basically saying to risk peoples lives for making the animatronics work again?
@@spnpp3806 naw, they're just saying that when disney was closed they should have done some maintenance
I think there's one clear thing we've learned from this video: Little Mermaid NEEDS to get revamped...like badly, this poor woman is dying Disney.
Please, Mickey
@@crazybird199 mickey doesnt agree
I once found Ursula just unmoving it was weird bc the sound was playing but she was just frozen
Her eels ain’t that sharp anymore, either
@@madelinenelson9524 Not too uncommon, for aimatronic to just not move.
Not gonna lie, seeing Spider-Man hit the wall while screaming for Airbags is kind of perfect. They should keep this version LOL

I would love that
Disney has fallen from grace. All the animatronics breaking slowly over time and being left is sad, and the nickel-and-dime strategies in place currently at the parks are frustrating. Not to mention the other issues going on. These videos are a very positive part of my childhood, and hopefully one day, we can experience a Disney where dreams finally come true.
"Ariel's aparently 90 now" got me
I think Constipated Buzz would look perfect next to screaming Minnie in the carnival scene from Runaway Railway.
What about that headless doll?
@@AlolaMasked_BettyRubbleFan I would put it in the Haunted Mansion.
@@HunterTheHero same
@@rosaliesimard2266 I would also put Pirate Olaf in Pirates of the Caribbean.
@@HunterTheHero For sure. The hatbox ghost will definitely enjoy the company
I usually say that, "these are complicated machines, they will break." But with Ariel, Figment, and others, Disney has not truly attempted to fix them, and I think they should at least try something that isn't a temporary fix. If it's broken, tell us, and fix it for good. Disco Yeti is a classic and I think would probably be better broken, as it would be way too expensive and it is still scary, but these smaller figures, particularly Figment, should be easy to fix. I would love for the new rides and attractions like TRON and such to open up faster, but I would rather have what we have now in working order.
Yeah, I think after Tron is up and running, they need to close the Little Mermaid and fix it that ride is in such poor shape
I think it falls into 'these are fairly old machines, eventually they will need to be replaced.' At a certain point mere 'repair' is just a downward spiral, and actually *replacing* them... well, they're quite expensive, would require a significant planned shutdown, and in some cases Disney might not even have the original schematics. At that point it becomes a question 'if we're going to tear out everything and replace it, maybe we should just make a new ride? And if not, perhaps we should spend time on the new rides we *are* making?'
@@basedeltazero714 True, repair can mean multiple things, I would think that if they were to try repairing it again, they would need to redo the entire system and keep little more that the frame and skin
“Nah LET DA STUFF MALFUNCTION”-Disney And I just went there I didn’t see I went in June for my moms b day we keep getting to go bc of Girl Scouts
@@sjostrom610 You mean they fixed the animatronic?
The tech fails on these machines never cease to amaze me. The Spiderman one in particular is very creative in keeping the magic together to recover in case of a fail. I absolutely love that.
Slot Machine Olaf is forever my favourite malfunction. I just can't stop myself from laughing at how accurate the description of it is.
I was there when Spider-Man crashed into the wall, we were on another ride. It was fixed really fast. Like nothing had happened. Great job Disney cast members that’s Magic right there.
I bet they have an extra 3-D printed part ready at all times in case one breaks and can quickly replace the wall with new panels. I'm guessing that impact wasn't hard enough to break any electronic components.
This comment deserves a lot more likes and comments! That is true magic
Oh _suuuure,_ Spider-Man gets an immediate, incredibly fast fix, while Ariel is left to languish with multiple sclerosis until they decide to put her out of her misery.
My heart goes out to all forgotten animatronics that need restauration. We love you guys! Just hold on a little while longer! Help is coming!

The Spiderman bit is cool how they have a plan B audio track in case there's malfunctions. Really gotta appreciate Disney for trying to keep the magic going and not upsetting the fans for some of these malfunctions.
“Ariel is apparently 90 now” That got me 😂
I feel like the amount of animatronics that Disney has basically given up on fixing really says a lot about the state of the parks. Why bother fixing something if people are still going on the ride and no one's gotten hurt (yet) so why bother letting the ride go down for a long extended refurb to actually fix the problems instead of just letting it go down to fix a bit of paint and ignore everything else that actually needs fixing. It's money over experience now and it makes me sad. Still love these videos, though! They will never not be both funny and informative! My daughter wants to be an engineer and she loves watching these videos! She thinks it's like a peek behind the curtain!
Honestly just compare splash mountain from 2018 to now… it’s sad
@@JavaCake Even on Pirates here in California, in the chase scene, the last chase you see (with the larger woman chasing the pirate) you can hear the rolling of the animatronics louder than any other sound in that scene. I don't know if they fixed it when it went down but I also wouldn't be shocked if they didn't.
@@KassMcCormack That chase scene is now entirely down and doesn't move at all, despite the ride being close for weeks for refurbishment. So many things still not working the last few weeks I've gone. Super disappointing.
@@krs123247 Disney, get your ish together and fix your rides! You’re starting to look county fair!

8:25 Ok, I am officially scarred for life by that cute, innocent doll imitating the headless specter from Scooby Doo. Don't lose your head next time, Ok?
If you’ve read kingdom keepers, you know they aren’t as cute and innocent as they seem!
Let me just say: it makes sense for Olaf to have eye malfunctions because of how complicated his movements are. He has to look like he’s walking, wave his arms around, and move his head. Plus, when it’s working perfectly fine, his movements are so smooth. So it’s relatively easy for Olaf to have a malfunction.
Why does Olaf have so many terrifying malfunctions?! Got some “Five Nights” vibes looking at his eye having two eyes in one socket.
6:38 I guess you can say Olaf’s eyes went *into the unknown…*

6:12 That projector is just about at its end of service life. Disney better get to replacing the hardware soon
It's weird how one of the richest companies in the world known for high quality barely puts money into repairing its attractions
@@Jaheartsjonas yeah but my theory is because of COVID they are still short staffed and don't have enough people to fix everything so they only prioritize specific animatronics. At least as of now
@@Jaheartsjonas they’re not paying well for the maintenance positions compared to the rest of the industry. Rather than getting the best, they’re getting less than that because who wants to work at Disney if the pay is sub par? An electrician can go elsewhere and get paid more with better hours.
@@The_Original_Alex_Channel They've never really done maintenance right, always leaving stuff broken or half-fixing it to save money only for it to break a week later if that..It really isn't just covid!
From the times I've been to Disney World, I have never seen any malfunctions. But if there were, they were pretty well hidden and not obvious.
I haven't been to Disney world at all
I’ve never been to Disney.. decided that playing a marathon of your videos on a tv would be the next best thing 😂
4:44 he’s not broken. He’s jammin’!

I like the spiderman crash way better than just the one you "hear" makes the scene more lifelike and way more amazing
At 9:58, I thought that was cute & funny with B'rer Turkey eating himself there! 😊😂 However, we'll all miss him & all the others in the Ride retheme to Princess & the Frog. 😔 I'll have to say that Splash Mountain was like the biggest magic of the Disney Theme Parks, even though I haven't rode it before, but however do I enjoy watching the Videos of the Ride here on KZhead recorded by others riding it! 😀 Even though we want Splash Mountain to stay 😀, as it's unfortunately getting rethemed to Princess & the Frog 😔, we'll all have to at least thank Disney for the Splash Mountain Ride that stayed for all these years before then! 😀 That Ride put a whole lot of magic into the Disney Theme Parks, especially with that top hit 🎵🎶Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah Song🎶🎵 that plays right after the big drop! 😀
2:38 Sebastian side eye is taking me tf out 🤣
With the Spiderman animatronic malfunction, I can just imagine those who have never seen the show before and they don't know it's a animatronic, seeing that crash and for a brief bit, thinking that a live actor got hurt or possibly killed in that stunt.
I hadn't thought of that, yikes.
Omg imagine the kids seeing that, not knowing it's fake and not a real person (because they're young), and being horrified to see spiderman just crash and fall!
@@testerwulf3357 yeah

“He did not like what he saw, was it bob chaepeck?” Had me laughing so hard Lmao
The monologue in the spider-man video fits perfectly. 😂 He crashes and grunts and then his suit assistant tells him that there are no airbags while he’s still grunting in pain on the roof
"was it bob chapek?" The shade hahaha loved it

I’m so excited that these are back! These malfunctions are hilarious
I love the spiderman one it almost seems like the airbag conversation was non-intentional lmao

Break down story: So I went to Disney World in January of this year, and I've noticed that during the "Part of Your World" scene, Ariel's mouth wasn't moving. I kept it to myself this year, but after watching this, it sort of fits in with Ariel's timeline of breakdowns this year.
12:47 they had it repaired for the next show and it said something like “chance of landing 15%”
“It’s safe to say they’re getting him ready for thanksgiving” At that moment I felt traumatized even though it’s an animatronic-
I ran into a fail once at the Little Mermaid ride at Disney World Magic Kingdom. The ride suddenly came to a halt around Ursula's part, so for around a minute or two we had to sit there surrounding Ursula who was singing nonstop the same track on repeat. Her movements were so fluid though!
I remember seeing the Hopper animatronic malfunction during It's Tough to be a Bug during 2014. I think one of his upper right arms got stuck. When the show was over I could see the hand poking out of where the figure hides.

He heard our call to spot some animatronic malfunctions, and he always delivers. Also that Stunt-Tronic Spidey was definitely impressive but I always worry that at some point the figure is gonna malfunction... #TPMcrew
The Spider-Man crash actually made me laugh 😂
i like how with the spider man one, the dialogue is still so fitting with that accident. it so funny
With as much money as Disney has, you'd think they'd actually fix some of this stuff. Especially the rides that have been steadily getting worse and worse.
the spider-man fails will always get me 💀
More like spider man falls.
Ok٫ crash check done! *proceeds to crash again*
In the Ariel one, look at Sebastian's face 🤣 looks like he's speechless too lol
The Spider-Man one just went WEEEEEEEEE OHHHH THAT HURTS he went 👏😂 great job Disney World
Ariel's clearly asking for help and no one at Disney is listening.

I went to Disney in May, the Haunted Mansion kept shutting down as soon as you’d get to the bride. You’d be stuck awkwardly bent over for 13 minutes minimum while the bride’s face and voice would glitch out. It sounded like she was screaming. In the middle of her laugh, the audio would start glitching into a weird echo-scream for like 5 minutes before her face would just *poof*
I laughed way to hard at some of these. Especially the Spiderman clip. Reminds me of the scene in the Spiderman 2 when Peter attempted to jump buildings and see if his powers were back. But he went crashing down, and walked away with a sore back.
Wow how can a robot move so smoothly?!? I remember already being impressed with the Piranha Plants in Super Nintendo World but these are on another level. HOW CAN A ROBOT DO A BACKLFIP ON THE AIR AND LAND WELL, JUMP WHILE MOVING WITHOUT FALLING AND HAVE SUCH REALISTIC FACIAL EXPRESSIONS?!?!
It's called weights. Still, none of these could pass as actual living beings. Nothing alive moves like that. The Avatar one is the only one that comes close to looking like a living being.
These make me laugh so hard. Especially the ones that are afflicted by issues that are human like. I read somewhere that when they were testing Lincoln he collapsed and red fluids leaked out, so they made sure to change the color.
Ah, probably hydraulic fluid for the machinery. The same kinda thing runs in pipes in buses. And if a pipe ends up coming apart...the sight is something to stick in your mind for a long time. 😬
Maybe there was a human in there
@@genericname2747irl fnaf remake😳
Lincoln true ending
Buzz stopping on that frame is a funny coincidence, but it being stuck like that so long it slowly turned his entire face red is an issue...apparently they don't do maintenance often! It's supposed to be the place of fantasy and fun..but it's become cheap shortcuts, lack of fixing things, and all about the money.
Months after watching this video I went to Disney World and rode Rise of The Resistance. But guess what? I witnessed a malfunction with Lieutenant! And, I was standing on the side so I could see him. It literally brought me back to this video and as I watch this again, it brings back memories of when I witnessed that malfunction. I also rode Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway, and in the beginning of the scene, when they accidentally hit the "track switch", I noticed that their heads weren't moving! I just wanted to mention these things because I know TPM and other people will want to hear about my experiences!
9:13 Potato Head might want to cut back on his coffee intake 😆

He look scared lol
I watch these when I have Disney fever (I immensely miss Disney) and they make my Disney mind satisfied. Thank you!
Once, when I was about four, I went to Disneyland. We went on the small world ride, and in the middle of it all the lights and music turned off only the animatronics were on and so you just heard squeaking. It was so scary I cried.
The face on constipated Buzz Lightyear had me laughing so hard, I got all teary-eyed! "To the toilet and beyond!" 😂😂😂

Always great to see TPM Vids upload another animatronic malfunction vid! The best part is the narrator's deadpan humor. So well written!
I think it would be cool if you did a video on the history of the chuck e cheese animatronics
Don’t ask how but I rode these at 2018 - 2020 I got most of the times, the perfect animatronic lmao
I was on Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid at Disney World Magic Kingdom back on July 4th, and while my family and I were riding through the Under the Sea scene the audio suddenly cut out. I have a clip that I should upload to TPM. Sure, it’s not an animatronic malfunction, but it’s something. Edit: Forgot to mention that when I went on Carousel of Progress everything was functioning beautifully! The music was back, the animatronics were awesome, everything was fabulous!
Carousel of Progress is usually fine for me, I have rarely experienced a malfunction, and it would be interesting to see that clip. I had a similar experience on Runaway Railway but forgot to record it. It ride stopped in the underwater scene and shortly after the music stopped too. I rode the rest of the ride up to the end of the factory sequence without audio.
@@crazybird199 we had no problems on any other ride during our four days in the parks. However, where one would think we would have gotten an In-Show Exit during the music malfunction, we just kept riding right on through with no music until we reached Ursula and then everything was normal from then on. It was so weird.
Cheapek actually really likes the Carousel. Shocking, I know!
funny was it scarey tho beacase iv never been sry
Ha. Poor Ariel. I hope she gets some TLC after all these videos…..haha. I’ve only been on frozen once but it was the singing Olaf scene.
I went to Disney yesterday for the first time in 7 years… it was magical.
Great!
You never know what to expect in the animatronic malfunction compilations TPM vids provides. I for one was never expecting so many Disney theme park goers catching Arial with her eyes and mouth wide open. I’m glad TPM Vids has such a big fan base. Without it, I don’t think he’d have nearly as much motivation to make and post this many animatronic malfunction compilations and countdowns.
I cannot wait to go to Disneyland and see the stuntronic. Loved that clip as I think that would've been the same reaction they would've had in the movies XD
"TPM Vids" has become the "Worldstarrr" chant for Disney fans apparently 😂
Going on my senior year of school now, ive been watching since middle school. Im glad i found this channel, i will continue watching for many more years.
8:38 it's a small world more like it's a creepy world Edit:that animaronic's head falling off was the most scariest thing I've seen
I love how this channel hasn't abdicated it's pre 2020 charm.
I worked in WDW at Figment from Jan 2017- Aug 2017 and it makes me so sad to see his animatronic slowly declining 😭
Okay wait, but that spider-man crash was so impressive! From the sounds of it, it detected a crash ahead of time and triggered alternate dialogue, meaning there's probably some sensors in the bot that triggers the crash dialogue in case it over-shoots or something
Wow! I remember binging all of your amusing videos! Now that i’ve found your content again I can do it once more!!

Last time I went to Disney I did the early morning toy story land thing, I remember seeing the Mr potato head animatronic on but not moving, just standing there getting ready for the day. (He was blocked off due to the shorter line of course, the wait time was 0 minutes at the time)
Same here! It was back in June. I went on the ride later in the day too and he still was just standing still
I love how the members dealt with the spider man malfunction by making the animatronic react to its own malfunction 😂😂😂 he didn't get the airbags he needed😂😂😂😂😂😂

Years ago at WDW, Constance the bride's screen-face was glitched out and was pitch black. Added to the creepiness by a LOT. Reminded me of how she used to look, too.
So sad to see splash mountain gone, didnt get to go back in the last 3 years to get a ride on it but Ill definitley miss it
I was on Rise of the Resistance in Disney World a few days ago and the upright Finn figure wasn’t working, and was just standing there, mouth open, and eyelids slightly over his eyes. I think it was an issue with the system for that part of the ride because the arm that pops out didn’t come out at all. The next day, it was working at 100% again, but the day after, the ride went down for about two hours, and when I went on again, it was mostly fine, but the ride vehicle got stuck right after the escape pod crash scene. That’s when I learned that there’s a stuck B-mode with dialogue between Finn and the droid at the front of the transport. Also, the second time I went on the ride, Bek’s dialogue didn’t play at the end, lol.
I also saw the same thing when I was on the Mickey Toon ride. Mickey’s face just disappeared and showed a Disney Error Message for a couple of seconds. It was very funny. Unfortunately I didn’t catch it on video tho
I’m actually surprised that olafs eyes were malfunctioning instead of his body because his movements were so smooth
😂😆🤣😅THE SPIDERMAN FACEPLANT INTO THE WALL, WAS AWESOME. I WAS LIKE "OUCH! THAT HAD TO HURT" GOOD THING THAT WAS A ROBOT THOUGH! GREAT VIDEO. IT MADE ME LAUGH, EVEN WITH A COLD.
Oh, wait...the Spiderman is an animatronic?? I always saw little clips of him and thought it was a real guy, lol. I think the fact it's an animatronic is even more impressive, honestly.
8:39 🛑FNAF IRL CONFIRMED!!!🛑
I was there in December and caught the Muppets 3d, the hecklers were leaning like I've seen in some of the videos here. I let the staff know and they had to shut the ride down the rest of the day :(

With the Spiderman one, that seems really interesting it could detect it wasn't going to work before it played the dialogue!
