That's obvious, the kitty doesn't like a dog to be near. But this doesn't mean that he doesn't need to be socialized!!! What if the family that takes him has a dog? The kitty will be older and will have more stress adapting to that family!!! That's why we socialize them with dogs, so they grow to be successful companions in various situations. Early socialization is very important. I'm being very gentle with them and the dog is very friendly. Noone is hurting the kitty, we are trying to do the best for them.
