There is such a thing as a tattoo trend in every decade. 90s was barbed wire, bad boy, tribal and taz tattoos. Tattoos are not supposed to follow trends, they're supposed to be timeless. That's why when you see a realism, japanese or traditional tattoos you wouldn't be able to tell when they got it aside from the aging on the skin.

That's like saying that if you liked a band 20 years ago that you don't like now, you're a hypocrite. They didn't come off as hateful to me. Just being in a position where they were supposed to offer criticism off the cuff.
