  • *"Caucasians Calling The Police"* *should be a Netflix series*

    • Series? When you say series, to me this implies that there will eventually be a concluding episode. Sadly, I don't think there will be a concluding episode...at least not for a long, LONG time.

    • Not In My World WHAT?! During a pickup basketball game? I honestly can’t work full-time AND keep track of all of this? And what I don’t understand is that after Permit Patty and ID Adam lost their jobs (just to name a few), why don’t people think things through before escalating things upward to the Nth degree! Damn, I worked for a bank for many years and off the top of my head, the only time that I called the police was on a Saturday morning, about an hour before we opened. A homeless man was sleeping in the ABM vestibule. The bank has 2 entrances. The mall entrance and entrance from the ABM vestibule. I had only seen him once before that and I saw his angry outbursts. With him being bigger than me, I didn’t want to get into it before I opened the doors for customers. Even then, I wound up calling the cops back to tell them not to come as a couple male coworkers arrived before we opened and got the man to leave.

    • Not In My World Instead of a series, perhaps an actual TV show? I mean, Law & Order SVU, for example, has been on the air since 1999. I’m sure it will end eventually, but there always seems to be yet another case to focus on.

Sad. This dude sounds like he does not like bigotry and bias being exposed and called out. All the CVS manager needed to do was scan the coupon and he would have found out that it was legit. Instead, he let his bias get the better of him and got exposed thus ruining his own life.

He works in customer service, if you cant diffuse the customers complaints or problems, you dont need to be working in any department that require verbal confrontations. Oh she cant do that? You walk into establishment every day that uses security cameras without your permission. black people recording is security to ensure our proctection, or a least tell the other side of the story. White people will be quick to say " they were menacing, suspicious or they had a gun" which has gotten people fucking killed. • We never get the complete story in these cases that are tried in the court of public opinion based on a minute of incomplete video. I believe that the managers decided not to honor her coupon because it was not a store coupon (it was supposedly a manufacturer's coupon) and they simply did not recognize it. She got angry and refused to accept this, and he eventually called the cops because she was making a scene and wouldn't leave the store. I'd sue CVS for wrongful termination, and for libel by insinuating that the fired employees' actions were based on race, and that they are racist.

The police were called because she refused to leave the store. Why do you suppose he did that? She told a half story and anyone with a brain knows he didn't call police for a coupon (even the commentator stated it) and get the shakes for nothing. Where is the interaction when he wouldn't take the questionable coupon? Ahhh, conveniently not there. Where is the video of police arriving discussing why they were called? Ahhh conveniently not there. This black woman desperately WANTED people.to believe this was racially motivated. She probably threw a major ratchet bitch fit (that she either didn't tape or post) and wanted to fit in with all the other crazy white people calling the police who lose their jobs. She saw the opportunity and took it. This lady could be lying and without proof why do you believe her version? You do know that lying effects black people too right. Black people are not immune to lying.

Also, she only filmed him calling the police the second time. He called s first time and the police told him that his concern about the coupon was a silly reason to call. Then he called again! I don't think this black woman explained the black experience well. Black people film because we cannot believe what's happening and neither would the world if it wasn't documented.

  • Wasn't his tone and body language "heightened"??? He was NOT cool calm and collective the entire time. She made excellent points and he got flustered when the audience agreed(started to applaud) with almost every point she made. Also, he suggested resolution vs filming. We always try to resolve FIRST but when the police get involved that's when the filming takes place and even if it takes place before then, it may not even be the parties involved. It could just be bystanders. At the end of the day, in customer service, he should have been capable of deescalating the situation. He lacked those skills so therefore he was fired. The police have real crimes to be responsible for. He never even checked to see if the damn coupon was fraudulent but claimed it to be so. Anybody would be pissed at that.

I'm sure management reviewed the tapes from the time the customer entered the store until the time she left. Giving management even more of a clear picture than the victims phone account. Resulting in 2 terminations instead of one. Unemployment is high. Its an employers market. They don't have to put with some moron that's a liability. He worth to CVS or any other employer is Zero.

That smug look on your face at the end of the video is what's at issue here. Smugly tell her that the customer escalated the issue, isn't it more of an escalation that he called the cops? (He called twice, she just happened tho not Record until the second time) Moreover, if she was being aggressive to the point of him shaking, he should've mentioned that in the phone call. "BTW, can y'all come quickly? She was being super aggressive to me earlier." Nope, he was more upset that she Was confident that nothing would happen to her once the cops arrived because she did nothing wrong. Confidently stating her name and that she'll remain there when police arrive.
