Cowboy cooking is art too, right? Kent Rollins has over a million fans for his twice-weekly cowboy cooking demos shot at his farm in Hollis, Oklahoma. He explains to Gallery America's Robert Reid how he learned to cook so well, and how things have changed over the years, AND what he thinks all of Oklahoma should be cooking in their backyards while we're sticking at home more. (You might be surprised what he glazes into a Thanksgiving-worthy feast.)
Kent and his wife are treasures. God Bless Em!
This dude is a national treasure and must be protected at all costs.
Love cowboy Kent, a great American right there.
Found Cowboy Kent a few years ago, and have loved his stuff ever since. May the Lord bless him and his wife.
Kent Rollins is a national treasure. Bless him and his.
Love cowboy Kents cook. Hearing the history behind the meal he's cooking is the best and then there's the happy dance.
Kent and Shannon are the best! You feel happy and blessed watching them, the dogs and learning to cook like a cowboy, out cast iron! Bless you Kent and Shannon!
I love everything Mr. Rollins cooks. These Cowboy Cooks are the absolute best in the World bar none. Keep the menu rollin Kent. God bless you and your family.
Cowboy Kent is man's man
Been following Kent for a while and have adopted a few of his recipes into our regular dinner rotation. He likes Jimmy Stewart and Fred Rogers?!?! OMG I admire him even more knowing that.
Mr. Rollins is a national treasure.🇺🇸✔
Kent is the BEST thing I've ever found on KZhead. He is a national treasure. And when he said Mr Rogers..Oh My GOSH! Be still my heart!!
Doesn't matter how many subscribers he has. I've made a few comments to him and I have received a personal response from him. He is in touch with his subscribers and is an honest, real man.
Love that Cowboy Kent Rollins!

Great video! Big fan of Kent and his cooking. Nice to learn more about the man himself.
I've watched a lot of Kent Rollins on youtube. He seems like a good man (and I do appreciate that he *always* thanks the veterns).
What a simply wonderful tribute to a terrific man and his wonderful and talented wife. Saturdays are my favorite day, and watching this wonderful video made it even more wonderful. Thanks for a bright and happy story that everyone needs now.
Kent is a treasure. I watched several of his videos yesterday. Love American cowboys.
Kent needs to put this on his sight. What a great video!

Good man! I'm a big fan.
Thank you so much for the info. I sit and write his recipes so I can try them here in Minnesota! May y'all's families be blessed and healthy this season to come.
One of the best things to come out of Oklahoma! Happy trails Mr Rollins!
My man Kent! From Louisiana, keep it up my friend we love you.
Kent is awesome, REAL, TRUE!
Yup, cooking for Mr Rogers! Good choice, Kent. Cannot count how many homemade sugar cookies he and Mrs Rogers passed out to neighborhood kids that came knocking at his door. A true man of God and family. My heart hurts every time I pass The Crooked House on Madaket knowing Mr Rogers is not at home any more…✝️
Cowboy Kent Rollins- The Man, The Myth, The Legend...
Love me some Cowboy Kent! Shan & Kent have some very good recipes compiled into several nice cookbooks and I got three of them!!

Great video, I love Cowboy Kent. He and Townsend's did a great video together recently, both are KZhead legends.
awesome presentation, good stuff
Kent got me into cooking. God bless him and his family
Cowboy Kent Rollins, one of my fave’s
Big fan of Kent, Shan and red river ranch.
I love your video format. You pack a good punch.
My hero!
Kent is my favorite Cook
I love that guy!!! He the coolest cowboy
I am intrigued with Kent's choices for dinner guests. They are both from Central Pennsylvania. I have lived in Oklahoma and loved it. I now live in central PA and love it. I think that the people make the place worth living in and I think that both areas have the same type of people, so it makes sense tht he chooses these two.
I heard "Kent Rollins" is actually a method actor hailing originally from Ronkonkoma, Long Island. He's kept the act up for 30 plus years.
Great dude. My family likes the recipes!
My relatives are from Hollis OK. Some still live there love to hunt around Hollis.
I'm always for the "regular-Joe" to make good ! ... was very happy when Kent Rollins beat that snob Bobby Flay on that Throwdown he was challenged to !!!!
I've seen quite a few K.Rollins video, but not that one. Thanks I will look that up next. I want to see K.Rollins beat Flay! 😆
One does not simply roll into Oklahoma and drop a challenge to Kent Rollins.
Wow. I've always loved jimmy stewart, you keep going down that kent rollins trail now, ya hear
UNCLEDOUG SAYS KENT IS A MANS MAN AND A REAL COWBOY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love Kent
I knew there was a reason I liked Kent so much, he lives in Hollis. Unfortunately I have done some research on the Hollis’ of Hollis, OK and they don’t appear to be my line. But I still like his videos and his food.
We all know each other in hollis. Gret town.
Love That Cowboy Best cook since Justine W. With Good Humor.
Makes a mean chicken and dumplings easy to follow. big fan
Kent is a gem! His heroes are two of mine. Love me some jimmy stewart! I only wish I’d appreciated mr Rogers more while he was alive. I learned many interesting things about him after he died. Cowboy Kent would have to prepare a vegetarian meal for him…which im sure he’d do well!
The "Beag" is a rockstar!~
I love that Kent would like to have cooked for two folks from Pennsylvania!! I live in Indiana, PA......the birthplace of Jimmy Stewart. And Mister Rogers is from Pittsburgh....not far from me. Of the two, I think it'd be more interesting to see the interaction between Kent and Mister Rogers.
Update: Kent competed on "Throwdown with Bobby Flay". And Kent BEAT Bobby Flay!! And Kent Rollins currently has 2.65 million followers on youtube.
3:09 Interesting that he named to native Pennsylvanians, Jimmy Stewart and Fred Rogers. 👍
First vid I ever seen him in that the word "cowboy" wasn't used 37 times
I would put Kent Right up there with anyone for likeability. Now excuse me,I have to go grill some bologna. 😀
what not randolph scott the sacrilege
Love Cowboy Kent Rollins! But man, cowboys do not wear a hat where it doesn’t rain!
Cowboy Kent is very well known. Not sure why you are trying this approach. Seems like you're leverage off his fame to boost yours, instead of the other way around.
This man can't cook with out Jalapenos1
The only thing I don’t like is his food.
if this man ISNT american representing american values....then america is truly lost.
BS, I have his book and he uses frozen, canned, refiged ingredients that would never last on a roundup, trail ride or any other activity outdoors. Unless you have an electric fridge & freezer along ! I was very disappointed with his recipees. Book is a waste of money !
You sound like you're just a wonderful person that everyone would love to be around. As to you're comment, I would just say that even assholes are allowed to have an opinion.
Kents a stand up guy. I bet he'd give you your money back if you returned the book.
