  • Although this was the genre of music I enjoyed as a young teenager in LA back in the 90s, I would have never imagined that as of today this music has been the biggest influencer of so many deaths, violence and crime throughout black communities. These are facts. There Has never been any other music in the entire history that has influence so many deaths, murders behind its influence including the deaths of the actual rappers..

  • Maybe just 18 years when this came out. Awesome movie, but the realistic lyrics of this song wraps up whatever the movie couldn't. It created a narrative few knew or understood. It should be mandatory study in high school and college. That out of the way, all young brothers stationed over seas would lose their collective minds in the club. From the top of the song with the synth bass hits, it was pandemonium. Not necessarily dancing, but pacing back and forth on the dance floor, swinging arms and hands, pumping with each beat and bar dropped and spit. It was one of the songs that connected us to back home, while we served abroad, regardless of where we were from geographically stateside. Those were the days.
