  • You start them on a bicycle first. And ride them on the tank of your bike and let them hold on to the bars. These parents putting their kids on bikes before they even understand balance and turning.

  • Adults teaching children to ride must first drill into their muscle memory to move a little, brake, move a little and brake. This will give them the ability to stop and avoid injury when things go wrong. Teach them to walk before letting them run.

  • This is really a cute video. My son crashed his bike right into his little brother. My little one sustained multiple compound fractures of the leg, basically his leg was hanging off. My oldest a traumatic brain injury. He wasn't wearing a helmet. I had just told our middle son to out the bike away it'd was only for use on the dirt not the city streets. I was going to take the key but my middle son always listened. I had no idea my oldest would show up. I really wish I had good memories. Sorry dont mean to be a downer just stirred up my experience. All please stay safe and always wear helments.

  • I have an uncle in SE Kansas who raced Motocross with a Husqvarna 250. He had a crash in a barbed wire fence and to this day, 40 some years later, has a scar on his right forearm from his wrist to his elbow that about an inch wide. He quit racing after that.
