It's time for Spring cleaning as well as prep work to restore an interior stone wall.
The warmer weather of Spring has the garden growing again. Everything needs to be cut as well as my overgrown olive tree.
I follow that with prep work on one of the interior stone walls. I'm removing the old mortar and cleaning up the mess. Pointing will be completed in the next video. Stay tuned!

  • That's some solid work you got done! How frustrating about the branches.

  • I am not sure this applies based on your future electric consumption needs, but I increased the wattage delivered to my electric panel from 3000 to 6000 watts via Servizio Elettrico Nazionale.

  • Not sure if you can get Greenworks lawn tools in Italy, but I switched years ago and love my 80V equipment. I have a mower, weed whacker, blower and extended (8') hedge trimmer. I bought it to trim our really tall and large bushes. I feel it would have worked well for your olive trees. That and no more loud gas equipment. Let me know if they at least have a Greenworks 80V charger there. We plan on relocating to Orvieto and I have a small garden, large for Orvieto Centro Storico, to take care of. Your interior walls look like great therapy; just sayin. Love your vids, have a good one.

    • I almost bought an electric mower but I had so much trouble with the last one and I wanted something with more power. Here in the country it doesn't disturb anyone. I'm sure my neighbors at my condo won't be happy about it. I'll bet you can find an Italian version of that charger on Amazon. Yea, the wall work get tidious but I'm motivated by the end results. It helps that I enjoy what I'm doing even though I may not look like it :)

  • A lot of work done... Perhaps I'm reading too much into your demeanor, but you seem a bit frustrated or tired. I can't imagine how much of both you must feel. Hang in there.

    • Tired for sure. I was only frustrated when I got turned away from the ecological center. I had to drive 20 km to another center the following day. I actually like the hard work. It's more interesting than going to the gym :)

  • What a nice place, I never went there even if living not far. Can you fence your garden?

    • No, I can't fence the garden. If I could I don't think I would. I prefer to leave it open. Thanks for watching the video.
