  • I totally support you Mark! I truly believe Mark isn't doing this for the money and it's more about principle. I'm an injured worker and I'm going through a battle of my own and it's not about the money, it's so the younger generation behind me doesn't have to go through what I have. I believe this is what Mark is doing.

    • If Mark Hunt actually cared about principle he would have never fought Lesnar, hell, he would have never fought in Pride in the first place where the promoters actually encouraged cheating. Hunt literally said he knew Lesnar was juicing and didn't care pre-fight. He got coaxed into filing a frivolous lawsuit against the UFC by his lawyer and he'll pay for it with his bankruptcy. UFC will drag this out on purpose, bleed him dry and add insult to injury by going after a penniless Hunt for massive lawyer fees. Just watch.

And even sadder thing about this is, we’re talking about one of the most entertaining and popular heavyweight combat fighters of all time. His road into the sunset shouldn’t have looked like this. Cheers and adoration for the Super Samoan legend is all I feel, whenever I see Mark, or hear his voice. Wish more people and fighters would celebrate his legacy and now his current fight. Love ya, Mark. Kudos to Ariel for this unique look into what has lately felt like Mark’s echo chamber.

    • @@kornandfoofighters Lesner had already retired long before the UFC brought USADA on board so when he came back to the UFC USADA said he could skip the 4 month random testing pool because to USADA he's like a newly signed fighter and wasn't required to be in the testing pool. Cejudo would be under these same rules because he retired while USADA was at the helm of the UFC's drug testing administration. This narrative was apart of the build up to the fight and there was much talk and back and forth between Lesner and Hunt about him getting around the testing and him not being worried because you can't put steroids on your chin type statements. If the ufc did have the results before the fight and didn't call it off then they should and will likely end up paying for sure. People were aware Lesner was getting around the 4 months and only had to do it for like a month until the fight, but was passing his test up until that final day of testing where he was flagged or something like that so I guess we will have to see if and when this plays out in court.

  • I love Mark and he has a case when it comes to fighting a dirty fighter but the UFC isn't the NHL and is a growing sport..... nobody forces anyone to fight for the UFC. The UFC is the big leagues and when you make it in the UFC you make great money and if you are not a fighter who wins you don't. If the UFC paid 50% revenue to the feature fighters the remainder of the card wouldn't make anything the same way boxing is. People have this perception that boxing pays so well but in reality unless you are a superstar you don't make much of anything boxing. Usually when people don't like how they're treated at work they change jobs. MMA is where it is because the UFC has turned it mainstream like nobody before them ever came close to doing.....it is a company like the NBA, NFL, MLB or NHL except the fact they don't have a 100 year history on how to do it and are learning along the way. If you wanna be a famous fighter then you fight for the UFC.....you bring your skills and they help with everything else. Simple.....don't like fighting in the UFC go fight in Bellator or elsewhere.
