Hermann Fegelein was described as 'one of the most disgusting Nazis,' of Hitler's inner circle. During the Second World War he was a man who was obsessed with power and he would even marry Hitler's girlfriend's sister, Gretl Braun to secure more favour in the eyes of Hitler. But throughout the Second World War he was a notorious war criminal, and across Poland and the Eastern Front his cavalry units would be responsible for slaughtering thousands of people.
Fegelein was also a very close friend of Heinrich Himmler and he would throughout the war secure a number of promotions, but as Himmler at the end of the war tried to save his skin, Fegelein was arrested and was sentenced to death by Hitler himself. He would be dragged outside of the bunker, and he was then shot by a loyal Nazi guard.

  • Actually, Fegelein was never Hitler's brother-in-law. He was only Eva Braun's brother-in-law, since he was shot the day before Hitler's wedding with Eva Braun.

    • You the bunker of Hell because most of all the people in the bunker are in hell because they didn't repent of their evil deeds but a few maybe are in Purgatory like Albert Speer he felt remorse in his last years Traudel too she felt bad in her last years and guilty too maybe Eva herself because the testimony of Gottlob Bergen an SS general said that she helped him to save the lives of 35 000 Allied prisoners I don't know how she could do it , but I believe him and the Allies believed him too and had proof of it But the rest of the people in that hellish bunker no way they are in Purgatory

  • Fegelein was a truly repulsive individual that, until "Downfall," was more or less unknown. Now, every time his name comes up on a YT documentary, you can guarantee that, like me, a lot of people will simply comment, "Fegelein!", knowing it will make people laugh.
