Call me crazy but I always thought these X-Rays looked a lot more brutal than the X-Rays from X or XI. Probably because they’re significantly more detailed, Idk And this opinion still stands in late-2023
I actually like the X-Rays in this game more than the sequels (or Killing Blows, as they are called in MK11).

@@Howlingburd19 mkx's x rays are way more the detailed. The reason I like the ones in this game the most is the fact that it's short (mostly hits twice), and not so over the top they lessen the impact of fatalities. The grayscale rendering helps too. This is coming from an mkx fan.

the best part is that it didnt feel like any hits were random or unneeded for their combo and it never felt like they were holding back, unlike mkx. quan chi's was my favorite of em all it was brutal and creative except scorpion's stomp. maybe break the chest more but other than that it was great!

I actually liked these better than the ones in MKX. they were more straight to the point and didn't feel like some of them were more extreme than the fatalities. By MK11 I couldn't tell since fatal blows don't do the X-ray effect, so just went with "if a limb doesn't come off, it's not a finisher"
