  • As an Asian, I can prove that lemon CANNOT prevent sticky rice. There is no way to safe sticky rice, you just need to put less water to cook rice next time. “If your rice too wet, you f*cked up” -Uncle Roger 2020

    • In India you have over 3000 types of rice ....every rice requires a different amount of water to cook ....so its just trial and error ( adding lemon does make the rice whiter )

    • It think the lemon juice is so I doesn’t stick because in the Asian restaurants they have the spatula you serve yourself rice with in a bowl with lemon juice

    • I think it's because they add too much water. If they don't put too much water with the rice, no need to use lemon. Like honestly, the clumpy rice they showed at the start looked like rice that was not properly cooked (or more like for porridge).

  • I have the bowl that “doesn’t spill” it dosent really work if you have crazy siblings who throw everything, I was washing it and tried it out, the bowls don’t move fast enough to catch whatever’s inside if you shake and turn it too much. So if you have crazy kids/siblings I wouldn’t recommend it :/
