AGRICULTURAL MACHINES - Field Giants in Action | Full Documentary
Modern agriculture would be inconceivable without them: Huge harvesting machines such as beet and potato harvesters, tractors weighing tons and high-horsepower foragers. Agricultural technology made in Germany is at the forefront of the world market. How do the powerful harvest giants work? Where are they made? In our documentation we take a look around the agricultural technology fair Agritechnica in Hanover, we are present at a harvesting mission in Western Pomerania and show the effort with which the XXL machines are transported.

The sight of Agricultural Machines at work is awe-inspiring. From towering combines harvesting crops with precision to mammoth tractors pulling heavy implements through rugged terrain, these field giants exemplify the relentless pursuit of innovation in farming.
Incredible to see the advancements in agriculture machines showcased in this documentary
The steering is automated so the driver can focus on combine settings. Also, the combine settings is automated so that the driver can focus on steering. This leaves the driver to optimize yield settings, while the combine automatically adjusts to produce the greatest output.
Most people just listen and nod their heads
You know its a german documentation when they measure area in soccer fields
Imagine brazilians and australians going like "ok, so my farm is about 9382432742098 soccerfields"

"Football Field" in Europe "soccer" is called football. Only in America it is call soccer. Well, at least as far as I know.😅

Great video. I also have these tractors. On the game farming simulator. 😆😆😆
The slot counts though 🙄
I have the tractors in my farm to touch. Unfortunately on a scale of 1:32
Just need more sugar beet equipment choices like the 3rd party Grimme DLC for potato
Come drive the real ones and stop dreaming. Plenty of seasonal jobs around the world to drive these irl if you get out of ya couch. You might enjoy it so much you’ll never go back to a simulator😂 plus, you get paid too lol. Paid to play not pay to play.

Thanks for creating this documentary and translating. Respect, keep it independent and unbiased.. thank you
they didn't create it or translate anything, they just uploaded it...
Get serious. While it's entertaining, it's EXTREMELY biased.
The video is not just an informative source about agricultural machinery; it's also a powerful inspiration for the development and innovation in the industry.
I have to say Germany engineering always is world class level
I love farmers... They're up there with like firefighters and paramedics and nurses and doctors and all those other super heroes. The ones that make staying alive possible.
There was a farmer round my way that used to shag his sheep until he got knee capped and told to leave the country.
@@Lousy_Bastard 😂😂😂 So maybe not ALL of em are heroes... Lol.
@@jonjacob1962 I agree with everything you said in your original statement but there is a life lesson here not everyone in noble professions are good people.
@@Lousy_Bastard well I figured it would go without saying that I wasnt talking about EVERY SINGLE person in those professions...
@@jonjacob1962 Yes I kind of guessed that. 👍
This documentary was simply satisfying 🍻👌🏽
Gran documental. Les escribo en Español porque es mi idioma nativo y así puedo expresar con más profundidad lo grandioso que me parece éste tipo de programas. Estoy aprendiendo Inglés con ustedes y me va muy bien. felicidades por éste gran trabajo.
Thank you for providing a profound insight into the role of technology in enhancing productivity and product quality in agriculture
Thanks for this channel for great detail documentation, like how the narator voice, the cinematic and how germany is very modern in inovation, like auto harvest, automatic and network machine..love it
Simply WOW ,super German technology.
We wish a healthy, peaciful and happy new year for you . Best Regards AYKUT COSKUN ..
Best regards back from germany. Love and a long life for you and everybody you love...
I came for AGRICULTURAL MACHINES.... I stayed for the voice work.
Hi Mark
Excellent documentary! The narrator has to be German with those exact German pronunciations. There's also a slight accent in the English.
It's the same narrator for the channel Kurzgesagt so yeah, deutsch for sure ! :)
@@marc4760, not the main one, the Kurzgesagt narrator made voice-over in it though 🙂
Oh wait it is the same narrator?

Based on some research I read German Farmers are no 1 in terms of production of wheat per acre. almost double some advanced countries, the world needs to learn from German farmers.
I must admit though that we have excellent ground for farming. We have higher yields in most grains. Yes we have great efficient farmers but we have a huge advantage to start with.
Awesome Agriculture machine 👍👍👍👍👍

Love these farming videos! 🚜 I would like to see one on American farming. Also would like to learn more about the technology
Look for Welker Farms, Larson Farms and for the largest machines out there, check Mike Mitchel's YT channels. Mike Mitchell has 6 units of 17 meter combiners, JD, Case Quad-tracks and many other gigantic machines !
Call John Deere.
Thank you for using METRIC so that the majority of the world's population can understand the weights, specifications and dimensions being discussed!

Marvellous. Amazing
That statement of young kids being at fault of alot of accidents is bullshit, alot of the accidents got more to do with the people in the cars not being patient and always got to overtake the big equipment. What can a young person do about it
You gonna cryyy?
@@jms876. you gonna be another statistic?
Notice how they will always blame the farm equipment and never the other vehicles? Me thinks the people in cars and motorcycles should be paying attention as well
definitely agree. 13yr olds have more experience driving on country roads than most adults.
As a vet and farm born I like to see up dated harvest equipment to beat the weather changes

wow, great machine to access farm that needs good condition to drive along. field analyzing make researcher to set smart controlling system. Could you share me other videos to measure soil condition?
Hey WELT folks, you just rock!
Amazing machinery
Amazing machine
amazing
I can never understand why humans put so much effort to making humans obsolete
Because most humans think they are too good for hard work. Many farmers (worldwide) struggle to find enough employees to perform the tasks, therefor efficiency is key. Automation increases efficiency and that means that tasks takes less time (or you can do more in the same amount of time). Because the highly industrialized farming world, we can steel feed the world. Of course if you don't like industrialization, you can visit an artisan organic farmer, but don't start complaining prices their prices are too high. Because when hourly wages rise, so does the costs of goods that are sold. Those large machines are indeed expensive, but can do the work of 10 people, calculate their annual salaries and you quickly find out why these million dollar machines are sold like cup cakes...
Awesome 😎
Waiting 🙌🏽🙌🏽 I like what am seeing already
It is pleasing to the eye and interesting to witness these modern agricultural machinery. If you have the same opinion, please leave a comment
Claas machinery is the best gear in the agri market
Great. Well done.
@ 2:10 “Fields of unimaginable size”...? I don’t know about that? I’m a Canadian 🇨🇦 and I live in the prairies, so as you can probably guess, I can imagine pretty big fields! 😉
I had a good horse laugh when he exaggerated that concept. Of course I'm an Aussie.
Yes, he could have said for German standards
It s soooooooo impressive. 👍👍👍❤❤❤
Excellent Documentary.
Powerful and interesting

Hello
Very well produced advertisement.
Really impressed with this impressive harvester, But how much does it cost to maintain this machine each year?
Bellissimo video 👍
Good to know its not just German cars that always break lol its their harvesting equipment too
Like for Kurzgesagt voice 🙂❤️👍
When I heard he proudly said, "Our machine lasts for 10-15 years" I thought, we don't even know if our own existence could last that long. My sympathy goes to the families of the victims that were killed in the flood last month.
You've been brainwashed lol BIG TIME! Every human on earth can fit inside the city of Jacksonville Florida...twice over. I bet you also believe the world is over populated???
@@Jdalio5 nice, exactly what America needs. A man that could tell lies in your face while believing in it 100%
@@daviel Technically, if you stand people together like in a music concert you can fit the worlds population (7 billion) in an area the size of a medium to large city. I know this because I just did the math. I'm not sure that proves anything but it is interesting.
Huh?
Hearing the German inthe background and the English translation reminds me of the old Transtel Cologne documentaries on TV back in the 1970s.
Anybody else waiting for those *agricultural machines* to transform into a *Decepticon?*
So perfect 👍

Amizing
wonderful
And autonomous technology is leading on Agricultural machines
There's already areas in Europe where VR technology is being tested. The only real world modification done to the harvesters was adding some management equipment and more cameras. The operator was never in the cab.
Waaaooo

How about Korea Agriculture Machine?
I pray that someday we will harvest weed like this
Awesome. Food monster.
Waw naman
AS LONG as those farmers can afford buying and maintain those equipments, they're fine. And then...
Do you think farmers still use horses to cultivate thousands of hectares? This documentation is from Germany and the German farmers NOT rich in any means
these are business assets not personal assets.
@@toomanyaccounts bussinets assets can be set upon personal ones just saying
Yes thats what i pointed out too
Did the german farmers still use horses or cows to cultivate a land? Here, in our country Philippines, as of today since the beginning of our independence was still our farmers using carabaos , cows etc for cultivating hectare land.
32:25 RIP... The crash test part is interesting!
Das wunderbaar
So that's what a GIGANT looks like.
ah remember havin a matchbox combine harvester when ah was a wee kid , didn't look like them , aye !
Nice amazing lodi
Here in the western 1/2 of the US 🇺🇸 we use trucks to do 98% of the hauling of silage, fertilizer, etc. When the feild to farm is longer distance then in most of Europe and can do 60+ mph instead of 25 to 30 mph depending on the tractor. It makes more sense. For example I work for a 10,000 milking cow dairyfarm in Arizona and we had to drive up to 1.5 hrs or around 60 miles one way just to get to the feild. Then get a load of silage and drive back. Maybe 5 loads a day in 12 to 14 hr day.
In Europe its very difficult and expensive to get a lorry licence and as Europe is mush smaller than the USA there isn't much need for high speed movement, when farmer here in the UK want to move fast they get a fastrac or unimog usually as that's what we did, In my area only 1 farmer has a lorry and it is used for selling grain tractors are still used to lug it from the field
@@joel8340. You're talking West Europe, East of Europe has massive space and are located far from silo storage. So in Eastern Europe, haulage by truck instead of tractor is becoming more and more common. Here in the US in the Midwest and West parts large equipment is used. Along the East coast areas are much more compact and those large apparatuses would be almost impossible to move. On the east coast most farmers can see all of their land standing on a silo or water tower. In other parts of the US a farmer needs a helicopter to inspect its land...
I'd love to see that Krone Forage harvester harvesting corn in Antarctica. After all they are active on EVERY continent

Very interesting video
I had a glass of beer everytime the narrator said *"Partik-you-larly";* by the end of the video I was very pissed. ("pissed" is Aussie Lingo for drunk, not Murican lingo for angry).
In Canada being drunk can be referred to as being pissed as well and has been. Lol. Hammered shit-faced and fucked up All can be used as terminology to describe a good bender. Lol.
