hmmmmmmmmm, i kinda have the opposite problem, too much play. Easy play that takes no effort and does not make much, nor gives much skill or growth. I use play as a crutch to get past my negative feelings, instead of dealing with them. Im too hard on myself, and have anxitity about making steps to grow in life because i don't want to try and fail, because when i fail or have a hard time i get overly hard on myself and negative. I guess the Jester needs to step back so the Fearful Disapprover can be talked to and consoled instead of just ignored. Disapprover: Well look who it is! The so called "renewer of the mind"! what? did you finally get bored with how unfulfilling life is? Finally ready to try at something? Fearful: Ehh what's the point? I will just be too slow and too bad at whatever I try anyway! might as well just sit here and do nothing. Fearful and Disapprover: At least that's *something* I am good at, right? Renewer: that's enough, both of you. Stop being so hard on the Mind, stop being so afraid of failing. Disapprover: But it's true! Fearful: I are bad at everything I do! well when the player interacted with a statue thing it turned into open-minded so I believe its meant to indicate what dimension your in to help with puzzles that involve swapping between them
In creed valley there are two states of the entire area and that is closed and open minded. The former is more productive but stubborn and unwilling to change while open in unproductive but more fluid more willing to change and gain insight. Ya basically need to balance them both to progress through the map
