Aloo Paratha is a bread dish originating from the Indian subcontinent. It is a breakfast dish that originated in the Punjab region. The recipe is one of the most popular breakfast dishes throughout the western, central, and northern regions of India as well as the eastern regions of Pakistan. And nothing is better than having it during winter.
Indian Aloo Paratha - whole wheat flatbread stuffed with a spicy potato filling. This paratha is best enjoyed with yogurt, pickle, and butter.

Aloo Paratha Recipe
Servings - 2
INGREDIENTS
DOUGH
2 cups Whole wheat flour (Atta)
a generous pinch Salt
3/4 cup Water
STUFFING
1 1/2 cup Potato (boiled & mashed)
3/4 tsp Salt
3/4 tsp Red chilly powder
1 1/2 tsp Cumin
1 tbsp Coriander seeds
2 tsp Ginger chopped
1 no Green chilly chopped
1 tbsp Coriander chopped
1/2 tbsp each side Desi Ghee

  • Chef, I tried the receipy during quarantine. It was just wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooowwwww. Actually sir, ghee was not available, so tried this with oil & I added 2more ingredients in the Potato mash :- chopped onion & Lemon juice. These two ingredients enhance the taste more. Sir, if U want pls do try it.❤️

    • Instead of adding jeera and dhania directly into mashed potato, you can lightly roast it and paste it . It will increase the taste and will smell awesome...❤
