Me too. When I was little my dad got a kitten but I assume that we were so poor that we couldn't take care of it anymore my mother made me hold my cat to my older sisters apartment I was petting her and loving her thinking I'd bring my cat back to our home my mother never told me we would be giving away my cat to my older sister, 2 weeks later my sister lost her. She was a cute orange tabby baby it breaks my heart thinking what could of happened to her. I'm crying writing this because my family always wronged me like this especially my oldest sister and mother.

Thing is it shows how many people these days out there care TOO much for approval of other people. They just want people to like them for every thing do. Their actions are not original, brave or do things out of a sense of compassion but only for applause which makes them kind of a loser to be honest. Just think about it for a moment, if you were really hurt and someone witnessed that and before helping you actually pulls out their phone and ensures that their act of saving is being recorded while a living being is on the brink of death just goes to show these people are not kind or nice. I understand it’s bad, and in NO WAY do I think it’s fine to do so as a first option, but sometimes there is nothing else that a person can do. Such as if they don’t want their pet anymore, but no one wishes to take them, even for free, no animal shelters are willing to take them, and you just can no longer keep them. (But throwing a kitten out of a moving car will never be acceptable)

8 years ago, a similar story happened with how my family got our cat which we call "Miracle". My mom was driving and witnessed someone throw a kitten out of a moving car. Whoever it was wanted the kitten to die and threw him the direction where cars were going. He miraculous did not get injured. My mom stopped her car and grabbed him up. He was laying flat on his belly scared when my mom got to him, she was worried at first that he was dead. My mom put him a lunch bag cuz he was so tiny and brought him home. He peed some blood which made us nervous but he got checked by the vets and he was okay. He's still with us today.

And has this person been caught and charged? Idk why this person did what they did, as you said there are other solutions that they could have taken, like sending the kittens to a shelter, or an animal rescue organization. I hope someone took a picture of their license plate and reported them. My mom unfortunately didn't get it, it happened way too fast she said. This happened in Mississippi around Oct 2015 on a highway. I didn't mention this in my previous comment. My mom was actually heading to pick me up while I was in my Dad's car as he was picking my brother up from school. We had planned that day to watch a movie call "Pan" in the movie theaters, it was a crazy day. If it wasn't for our movie plans that day, I don't think my mom would have left her work building early and had been able to rescue him. Miracle has grown to be a big fluffy boy now.

Not always. Even Hitler loved animals and helped them. (Using resources like the SPCA in the US, helping, saving and adopting animals). I do agree though. It is a good thing to do that all people know is good, but not all people actually do. Sometimes I just wish that people would treat/respect other people the way they do animals. It's not uncommon though for some people to be the evil, but to love animals (or a specific animal).

@KZheadName Time to make cats extinct. lol. Joking aside, I was reading a couple years ago that the vast majority of cat owners have Toxoplasmosis. It's a single celled parasite that's transmitted to people via litter/litter box that causes night vision problems and mental/emotional problems. Most don't know they have it and never will, even though they may be having symptoms, because they just don't know why they're having symptoms and/or will be misdiagnosed. Anxiety, depression, night blindness, memory and fatigue problems, dementia, schizophrenia and other symptoms are associated with it. Sorry for the rant. If you google "schizophrenia cat relation" (without the quotes), you should be able to find more info if you're interested. I always hope people verify things, at-least just to not believe me or other people online.

In 2020 I saw the same thing happen. It's was a tiny black and white kitten that couldent be any more than 5 weeks old, and some guy tossed him out the window on the highway. We got out and got him and gave him food while driving to a vet. We weren't able to keep him, because our apartment at the time didn't allow pets, so we gave them to my best friend, who already had about 11 cats. She is now loved. ❤😭

My old boss had four cats she rescued, and one of them had been thrown out of a truck as a kitten. She’d show me pictures of him as an adult, that poor cat still had scars on his face and body from the ordeal, but he’s luckily living the good life now

this reminds me of my orange cat, my mom worked at a convince store and a homeless woman walked in with an orange kitten asking if there was a home for them, my mom said yes, the poor kitty was thrown at the homeless woman a few days beforehand and we got him to a vet and we also kept him, hes one of the sweetest little things in my life now, even if he meows like hes been smoking since before i was born

One night around 10-11 pm my mom burst into my room saying "want to go save a cat?" Next minute we were in the car driving to a gas station 30 min away. One of the employees there saw a car toss a kitten out their car and drive away, so she grabbed the cat and posted on FB for someone to take her. Me and my mom showed up, took the cat and saw she had some bad damage to her lower lip, where her lip was basically all the way below her chin, so over the next few weeks we helped her heal and now you can't even tell there was any damage. Squirt is such a little cutie and lovebug, I can't believe anyone would just toss her out.

When I was little my dad got a kitten but I assume that we were so poor that we couldn't take care of it anymore my mother made me hold my cat to my older sisters apartment I was petting her and loving her thinking I'd bring my cat back to our home my mother never told me we would be giving away my cat to my older sister, 2 weeks later my sister lost her. She was a cute orange tabby baby it breaks my heart thinking what could of happened to her. I understand it’s bad, and in NO WAY do I think it’s fine to do so as a first option, but sometimes there is nothing else that a person can do. Such as if they don’t want their pet anymore, but no one wishes to take them, even for free, no animal shelters are willing to take them, and you just can no longer keep them. (But throwing a kitten out of a moving car will never be acceptable)
8 years ago, a similar story happened with how my family got our cat which we call "Miracle". My mom was driving and witnessed someone throw a kitten out of a moving car. Whoever it was wanted the kitten to die and threw him the direction where cars were going. He miraculous did not get injured. My mom stopped her car and grabbed him up. He was laying flat on his belly scared when my mom got to him, she was worried at first that he was dead. My mom put him a lunch bag cuz he was so tiny and brought him home. He peed some blood which made us nervous but he got checked by the vets and he was okay. He's still with us today.

And has this person been caught and charged? Idk why this person did what they did, as you said there are other solutions that they could have taken, like sending the kittens to a shelter, or an animal rescue organization. I hope someone took a picture of their license plate and reported them. My mom unfortunately didn't get it, it happened way too fast she said. This happened in Mississippi around Oct 2015 on a highway. I didn't mention this in my previous comment. My mom was actually heading to pick me up while I was in my Dad's car as he was picking my brother up from school. We had planned that day to watch a movie call "Pan" in the movie theaters, it was a crazy day. If it wasn't for our movie plans that day, I don't think my mom would have left her work building early and had been able to rescue him. Miracle has grown to be a big fluffy boy now.

It's a single celled parasite that's transmitted to people via litter/litter box that causes night vision problems and mental/emotional problems. Most don't know they have it and never will, even though they may be having symptoms, because they just don't know why they're having symptoms and/or will be misdiagnosed. Anxiety, depression, night blindness, memory and fatigue problems, dementia, schizophrenia and other symptoms are associated with it. Sorry for the rant. If you google "schizophrenia cat relation" (without the quotes), you should be able to find more info if you're interested. I always hope people verify things, at-least just to not believe me or other people online.

In 2020 I saw the same thing happen. It's was a tiny black and white kitten that couldent be any more than 5 weeks old, and some guy tossed him out the window on the highway. We got out and got him and gave him food while driving to a vet. We weren't able to keep him, because our apartment at the time didn't allow pets, so we gave them to my best friend, who already had about 11 cats. She is now loved. ❤😭

We adopted a kitten who was thrown out of a car when I was young. I could never understand how somebody could have such malice for such an innocent thing. Cloe is now an old lady; turned 15 this year 🙂

My old boss had four cats she rescued, and one of them had been thrown out of a truck as a kitten. She’d show me pictures of him as an adult, that poor cat still had scars on his face and body from the ordeal, but he’s luckily living the good life now
this reminds me of my orange cat, my mom worked at a convince store and a homeless woman walked in with an orange kitten asking if there was a home for them, my mom said yes, the poor kitty was thrown at the homeless woman a few days beforehand and we got him to a vet and we also kept him, hes one of the sweetest little things in my life now, even if he meows like hes been smoking since before i was born

My eyes reared up watching this, of people being so kind and helping cats 😢😢😢
One night around 10-11 pm my mom burst into my room saying "want to go save a cat?" Next minute we were in the car driving to a gas station 30 min away. One of the employees there saw a car toss a kitten out their car and drive away, so she grabbed the cat and posted on FB for someone to take her. Me and my mom showed up, took the cat and saw she had some bad damage to her lower lip, where her lip was basically all the way below her chin, so over the next few weeks we helped her heal and now you can't even tell there was any damage. Squirt is such a little cutie and lovebug, I can't believe anyone would just toss her out.
