    • All DJs fights I've seen, especially the Moraes III, he just keeps coming as fresh as he was at the start of round one. I'm sure he's a hard worker and has elite cardio, but I also think he's SUPER efficient at using his gas tank. Actually incredible

    • Smaller guy, lower energy consumption. But yeah, he's definitely got the cardio but it's also important to notice that he knows his tempo and doesn't overwork himself most of the time.

    • @WatTheDeuce Agreed. Wada dominated first round. Dj won the second, but not as dominantly as wada won the first. Third round could have gone either way, maybe slightly in djs favor. But I think one scores the fight as a whole instead of total of rounds. So they could have given wada the decision.

    • I know they can’t grab the opponent’s gloves like that, but idk if they can’t grab their own. Like the rule with grabbing shorts. You can grab your own, but not your opponent’s. I’ve wondered about this but haven’t seen the rule.

  • Y’all forget damage trumps everything control time doesn’t really matter. potentially dangerous positions like an attempted submission etc. carry much more weight than time

  • Imo DJ is up there if not the GOAT. I know Jon Jones is great but he has some serious physical advantages over most of his opponents. Not taking anything away from Jon but personally I think DJ is more of a well rounded & skilled fighter.

    • Yes i agree. Also DJ went into Muy Thai and held his own against Rodtang. No MMA fighter is doing cross overs like that. Jones is great because of his enormous length advantage.

  • DJ definitely should stay away from any potential match-up with Aljo, If Wada was able to get that body triangle then Aljo certainly would be able to also. When Aljo gets that body triangle it's over for at least the rest of the round and he would most likely he will get the choke.
