The plaintiff purchased a car from the defendant, his dad’s friend. The title was in someone else’s name and he says he has been defrauded. He’s suing for his money back. The defendant argues he told the plaintiff there was a problem with the title and he was working on fixing it.

    • @@marleonetti7 Why are you mad that the plaintiff wants to do everything by the book? What a ridiculous way of thinking. He doesn't have to pay for tickets and it was CHEAPPPPPP. That is illegal. He can actually get in trouble with the state because he can't get insurance on the car because it is not registered in his name. In most states it is illegal to drive without insurance and he would have to pay more money than the amount he spent on the car in the first place. Why are you mad that he's trying to do the right thing? That's crazy. Have you watched other car titles/ jumping title episodes on PC? And based on your other comment mentioning Gen Z brat...you gotta be a boomer maybe a Xer but most likely a BOOMER.

  • First, only the owner of a car can get a title online. Second, never buy a car if the title is not in order or the name of the seller. Third, not waiting time for fixing title, if not title in order not buying the car.

  • I'd buy that young man a beer for the karma back, and if you did that to my child? Yeah...we wouldn't be friends. You didn't even have the title and a junkyard can't legally accept them without a title either. Everything they said and did was a lie. Sorry about your dad young man. I've always backed my children when in the right, not friends.

  • The defendants lied and lied, they never got the title in their name, otherwise they would have brought that to court, and they wouldn't have junked a working car, and they couldn't have junked it any way because you need the title to junk a car...

  • The guy is like over 40 years old and says I learned something today. I have to do the right thing. Does that mean he's been a jerk his whole life and just had an epiphany? I doubt it, guys like that don't change overnight. Stop being a scumbag, make the world a better place for the rest us

  • I cannot imagine having an idiot "friend" come between my son and me. Dad should be ashamed. That is not a friend.

  • From my experience working with individual sales and titles, I’ve seen so many crazy scenarios.. it wouldn’t surprise me if her ex husband refused to sign his name off the title and she couldn’t trade it in for another, so she “sold” it… Or the ex husband still owed money on it and they couldn’t get the lien released… 🤔

  • I wish JM would have really dug to find out if they were on the title right then and there and really give them a hard time when she find out they are both liars. Horrible people
