Can we get an update on where Malory went?
She's im Albania on holiday
I find it eerie that Mallory's permanent replacement has the same hair, same makeup, similar age. When I saw Gordon, I knew!😂
Where is Malory? :c
I like the new lady, but Malory :c
Maybe she's on vacation?
Dirty man 27
Yeah, at first I thought she was Mallory's sister.
@@MothGirl007 Can this be confirmed? If that's true, that's too bad. I hope it was an amicable decision. But all good things must eventually come to an end I suppose. We were very lucky to have Mallory as long as we did (and so were our cats!). She was truly a gift! Maybe she decided to go back to writing instead. In any case, she will be missed around here... Sarah and Gordon seem pretty cool too, though. Good luck to them!
Malory!?
Malory?
Thanks for the great video, Sarah and Gordon did great! Gordon is very cute!!!! Can't wait to see more videos from them.
Our Boudie LOVES Fortiflora and it has helped her out so much. She gets them a few times a week on her food, and gets suoer excited when we tell her it's time for "sprinkle spronkles" 😂
I had trouble getting my cat eating any food with the powder mixed in. What I ended up doing is mixing a proviableDC capsule in a shot glass with 0.5ml. water. The solution goes into an oral syringe and into my cat. It works very well and I'm always reassured that my cat is getting all of the dose (as opposed to the traditional method of hoping he eats his entire meal from a dish)
Thank you so much for such in detail walk-through of different brands. I always wondered which are the best. And although you touch upon the price, form they come in and reaction of your kitty - do you know if any of these are actually viable probiotics? Have you guys sent any of them to a lab, to verify they do have what they claim?
So my cat has pancreatitis for over 3 years. Winston is on Gastrointestinal royal canin wet and dry food. He is also on Provible-forte 10 billion probiotics. This was a game changer for my kitty. He had 4 major flare ups in 7 months, 2 of the flare ups he had to be hospitalized for. He kept having flare ups over the next 4 months. I had meds to deal with the flare ups, but I didn’t just want to control the flare ups, but to stop them. That’s when adding the Provible-forte was the game changer. So after 9 months of dealing with his pancreatitis with 4 major flare ups, we started him on Provible-forte. He has lost over 4 pounds during this time. Started the probiotic the first week in January and he was eating up a storm, not throwing up and after six weeks, he gained all his weight back and was back to his usual self. It’s now been over three years with dealing with us and he is doing great. But I’d like to mention an experiment I did. I put them on Provible-dc last summer. Thinking that maybe he does not need the 10 billion and lower it to 5 billion. Oh boy was I wrong. First day OK second day throw up third day throw up so back on the provable forte 10 billion.. pancreatitis is a nasty disease but so far the last three years we have been handling it and he has just turned 14 years old. He very picky so I just open the capsule and mix it with his wet food. He is fed 1 teaspoons of wet food every 2 -3 hours of otherwise if you give him more he will throw it up. Fresh water and dry food is out all the time. He is 11pounds and gets on tin sometimes more of the gastrointestinal royal canin food. Long post but hope this helps with kitties with for. Works for my cat. Oh and no treats except Winston gets 2 at bedtime.
Informative video.
Gordon looks to be more than happy to help taste test!
My cat had bad giardia for a long time and, thanks to that, she has a VERY sensitive gut. I love Fera but it gave her explosive diarrhea and wasn't improving over time, even only giving her a little bit at a time slowly over time. She's on Proviable and is doing very well, but she's also my special weirdo and likes to eat it as a pull. My vet advised against sprinkling it over food because it means the cat might not get the full dose or too much all at once. Can recommend!
My cat loves the "VetriScience Probiotic Everyday Duck Flavored Soft Chews". It helps him A LOT with digestion. He will not eat any wet food I leave for him and is not food driven. It's the one tension point in our relationship lol so the probiotics help a lot and he also has a water fountain he loves so that helps :). I am hoping one day he will like wet food.
Love the Bark and Whiskers. I do not use the scoop. I use measuring spoons to get the same amount every time. I started with a small amount to see how they tolerated it. I don't mind mixing it in.
what was the size of measuring spoons u used?
@@thewandies I started with 1/8 of tsp and worked up from there. She is currently on 1/4 of tsp twice a day, but I started her at 1/8 tsp once a day. She has a very sensitive system so I always start slowly. I tried another probiotic and it gave her diarrhea even at half an 1/8 tsp.Does not mean it was a bad product just not appropriate for this cat.
@@dahliaobsessed thank you for replying i'll keep it in mind to start slowly. I just ordered it.
Have you tried or done a review on Nutra Thrive? If not it would be great.
the bacteria having a party in Gordon’s tummy 🎉🔊🦠🦠🦠🔊🪅🪩🎊
Gordon just being like Sarah there are more pressing matters to talk about like why aren't you petting me right now
What about Adorned Beast, it’s from Nova Scotia, Canada. In powdered form a variety of different strains depending on your pet. I keep mine in the fridge. Powdered goats milk mixed with water is good for younger cats too.
My Grey girl got sick a couple of years ago stuff comming out both ends. Vet prescribed the Fortaflora. She has been on it for 3 years now. After i started, only a very occasional hair ball every 2 mo aprox and she is a cleaning machine, Fur got much nicer fuller. I found 2x a day may constipate her so i give it once per day (in evening). So it lastes 2 months.
Malory???
How do you know when a Cat may need to get those treatments?
What food do you feed Gordon? He's a hunk.
Thrive Pro Gut, on my cats 😻😻
Malory will be back don't worry
Do you know something about where she is?!
Gordon likes EVERYTHING
Where is Mallory??
Apologies for the lack of communication. for explanation here www.youtube.com/@AllAboutCatsYT/community
Thanks for the review. But it would be nice if you could summarize the info in a downloadable chart, or show one to the camera so we can take a screenshot.
Good idea, we'll work on that and add it to the description
@@AllAboutCatsYT thanks for doing that! Much appreciated.
Hi Doctor my 14.6 yo male cat got poisoned in Nov 2023. We think he might of gotten into rat bait outside. He got acute pancreatitis and recovered from that loosing 4 lbs. Then the constipation started & vet did enema. Kitty has been up & down. Vet gave him pain shot that lasts month & prescribed Hills digestive diet. He takes Miralax too. Do you recommend Vera for such a cat? Thank you! ❤
Forgot to add he takes melulose & gabapentin
How do you give him the miralax?
It would be best to talk to your vet about your cat's specific situation. You can also post a question on our forum and one of our vets typically replies in 2-3 days. cats.com/community/forums
Gordon didn't look like he turned any food away. Just like my kitty. I don't think my kitty needs extra help pooping yet. But good to no that this stuff is out there for kitty's.
Does pumpkin work just as well?
Yes and not, pumpkin is mostly recommend because it helps with digestive issues such as constipation due to its fiber content
Pure Pumpkin is not the best choice if your cat is constipated. More lack of knowledge.
Whats your opinion on pet mx probiotic its what I use ?
We have not tried that one yet so we're unable to say fore sure
Why doesn’t she introduce herself since there is no Mallory? Honestly I’m not watching the whole thing….it is like a commercial without Mallory and very impersonal.
#Cats - Dear Cats: my Veterinarian here in South America says dry food is okay... but i had both my cats tested and they are constantly slightly dehydrated. - I am concerned that this will continue for years and that they will develop disease or die prematurely. - Also: I'm seeing and reading other sources that claim dry food is BAD for cats. - Can you please point me to a proper video of yours or talk about this issue, please? - Should I switch to wet food now? Or is the Vet correct and a little dehyrdation is nothing to worry about? (He's seen the bloodwork of both cats). He says their red blood cells are deforming slightly...
i suggest buying pouches of wet food from time to time. this helps with their water consumption and fat consumption!
Dry is for a supplement, feed wet food. If u can get a pet fountain ur cat will drink a lot more water when it's clean and running.
Bark and whiskers is the best!!!
Dehydration in cats causes kidney problems. Get a pet fountain.
@@mikeporro3311 my cats are terrified of the pet fountain, I add home made broth to their already wet food only. They love it!
Oh no! My cat is allergic to Brewer's yeast.

This is a very strange video. Its a taste test with nothing to do with effectiveness or quality of the product. No information on why cats might need this or when to use. Nothing on how various strains help with different challenges. Its not actually a helpful video. Really disappointing for this channel.
thank you for your feedback @michelea8129, we did focus more on the taste here. There is more information here: cats.com/reviews/best-probiotics-cats
Thats because most people understand probiotic. You also can talk to your vet. In general cats can have digestive issues. Hence the probiotics help. The variety depends on your cats needs.

The fact that you’d even include recommending Fortiflora, which has ONE strain, and not include Proviable speaks volumes as to your lack of knowledge.
I was gonna say “Malory, gained weight.” 😆
