I was there that day, located wayyyyy up on the back row. At the time I was a brand new believer in Christ. This talk is what I remember more than anything about World Youth Day. I have watch it over and over again since I got back. The church is so blessed to have Cardinal Tagle!
If God allows him to be the next pope someday,.. , he must surely be the greatest pope ever in the history of the Church of Christ. I pray for his health so he can continue pastoring the christian world.

Cardinal Tagle really inspired me since I knew of him. His words speak of compassion, of love, of forgiveness, and of the joy which his smile emanates. He inspired me to pursue my seminary studies because I saw an exemplar in him. He was my uncle's rector back then at TMP, and he would tell stories about Fr. Chito as someone whose charisma brings joy to every heart. I adore him so much for his simplicity and humility. We love you, Cardinal Chito!❤️
Met him and was able to talk to him personally One on one last July 2018. And I am in Awe looking at him. Very humble man and very charismatic.
Cardinal Tagle is a joy and an inspiration. He doesn't preach/teach over your head, but brings the love of Christ right to your doorstep in this present time. Amen.
