Unless there dirty
I know this is 6 years old but that's pretty damn cool
If it was glass, it would be different
ist not plastic. is ceramic
Plastic? I'm pretty sure its glass. I mean the sound it gives off definetly sounds like glass to me

Let’s see how fast you can clean mini cast iron skillets with melted cheese that’s been sitting for hours that fast
LMAOOOO ONGGGG. At my restaurant it’s a hot pan they cook rice in and the cooks don’t even put water so you have to scrub it with ur hands
@@osobloody1992 yeah I used to have to clean DOZENS of those cast iron skillet pans with melted pasta cheese and other cheeses... I’d have to run it through the machine then scrape with a spoon 🥄 while I have 9 more waiting and sitting all day... my shift used to be 4pm to like 3am so when I got to work garbage and everything was overflowing and waiting for me.... glad those days are over... my wrist ended up losing feeling from all the cast iron skillet pans 🍳 had to finally quit

As a former dish dog, I used to work in a pit like this and yes It's impressive, but lets see him do it with a counter full of dirty stacks.
I agree with that. Everything he put it was clean and it was all light weight plastic. At my work it's all thick glass and they are dirty.

Doing a big load of dishes can give you a really good sense of accomplishment and pride. I'm a power plant operator who could make lots of money but that job just doesn't satisfy me like it used to.
As a dishwasher myself you got my respect.

@@samuelsamuel1216good job I have a interview for a dishwasher job today at 14.00 an hour I'm taking it
Based on
Wish my work was like that. I have to put one tray into the machine one at a time and wait for it to finish before the next tray. Makes things way slower lol
Bet, 2 cycles: 45 seconds on soap, 15 on rinse. Keep the machine working all the time. Work smarter not harder and never let your dirty dishes and cookware sit and dry. Keep your dirty dishes organized. Stack all of your dirty pans inside of each other with a littler bit of hot water in each pan- The hot water will be absorbed into all of the food and it will not dry and will stay moist and loose. Listening to music helps keep your mind from getting too lost and distracted. Went from dishwasher to serving, to cooking.
Literally same where do you work !?
Why don’t you just keep filling the other trays in the mean time so when, the machine end, all you have to do is put the stuff in the current rack away, so you can use that rack and put another in the machine, also just keep spraying, if you keep the dishes that are brought back to you clean the whole time then all your have to do is keep reloading the machine, when your manager or whoever complains, explain the situation, I have several dishes, here but a machine capable of only 1 rack at a time, currently there is one in there.
SAME BRUH
hey I had that dishwasher when I first started ages ago. pull down lever one.
Them plates look like they're already clean and don't need much spraying.
Another dishwasher or same guy already scraped the food off at a station next to the machine. You wouldnt get clean dishes if you put them full of food in diswasher
one person is supposed to spray water on them to take the excess food off the plate and let the machine do the washing, otherwise what good is the machine for if you're scrubbing plates and cleaning them before putting them in
just curious about it because it doesn't show him taking off the excess food. Perhaps to make him look faster? I did everything myself when I was a dishwasher.
yeah, im pretty sure they just made him look faster than what the job actually requires
True that.
Can't do that shit with glass or ceramic plates...
Exactly, I deal with glass plates, plus he left space in that last rack, waist of space
+Icybubba there where no more plates
I have. Working at Sheri's restaurant, take in account commercial ceramic plates and glass dishes are more durable, or they would crack in dishwasher under high heat and pressure.
No Fucking Way!!!😂😂😂😂😂
John Smith if you do it very carefully then you can do it with glass and ceramic. He probably would wash the glasses differently, but the sound of the plates is just bouncing off the walls. The only way that they would really break would be if he dropped one, which is very likely.
Someone get this man a raise!

And 3rd degree burns from the dishwasher at work
Would of been more interesting if the plates were actually dirty and and are regular plates instead of plastic. Cool technique though.
Jei Young I do this with glass plates at my job
Hats off to ya man. You're pretty fast.
those aren't plastic
# Except they are. The light clunk they do as they fall onto the rack confirms this.
Or plates that been half assed dumped out by the busser
Mom: you'll be working like him if you don't study! Meanwhile in the back:
2021: Life and politics aren't fair!!
Those dishes are already clean. In my jobs I have to remove the dirty before put them into the machine.
And dry. I tried this tonight with wet ceramic side trays (that I just scrubbed) I was able to load slowly because some were sticking. However the final reclaiming technique worked if I only grabbed half the rack.
I wish dishwashing was this easy
Coming from another dishwasher, I have to agree with you, but looking at this video, these plates look like they're made of plastic, if these plates were made of ceramic or clay, they'd be kinda heavy.
With like semi plastic dinner plate, YAH UH!
Pan comido

This is brilliant, but I think part of the video was not uploaded. I will like to see how fast he works at service times when waiters bring back hundreds of plates, with each plate having left overs; desserts plates stuck together and requiring a knife or hot water to separate them; and not forgetting the (very) hot pans coming from the chefs.
Yea my point exactly !

That's really dope that he takes pride in his work like that because I'm doing the same exact thing as him but not as fast if course but I am pretty fast the fastest at my work I have to do dishes for a buffet so we get about five times as much dishes as a normal restaurant I wouldn't be surprised if he works at a buffet too because those are exactly how our dishes look and sound
Must be nice when there’s no food or hard as a brick stuck on cheese on the plates😂
Cheese that doesn't even come off with steel wool. You have to soak it in your pots' and pans sink, and then it will come off if you really scrub hard.
@@rocketdog111 or you run it through once then scrub. It is faster than soaking. It also makes scrubbing easier as the hot water loosens the stuff up.

Wow. Thats really cool and its entirely doable. I've been a dishwasher a few times and used a similar method. But this is by far the best so far
Dishwasher here. I use this method but when I grab the handful I slide them down the center towards me and separate them afterwards and it’s honestly faster considering the guy in the videos only doing individual rows
The conveyor type dishwasher is such a great way to do dishes in a restaurant! Side note: Professional dishwashers are called Pearl Divers. I was told this by a chef when I worked at a Holiday Inn a long time ago! The dish room was classified the Dive Room!

he should do the ceramic plates instead of plastic ones, and it would be impressive.
When I was a dish washer at a University Food Court we did something similar with plastic trays. With the ceramic plates we would grab 4 in each hand for a total of 8 plates at a time and slap them in the tray. The alternate Way was to grab an armful and just kinds half drop half spread them. It made a satisfying thump tump sound and poof rack is filled.
He's not the only one that manages to get all those dishes done quickly
Who else finds the sounds of the plates clinking therapeutic?😂😂

I used to catch how he did, and yes with glass plates. It's much faster when you smack them together.
I think my main problem is making sure the plates are fully clean before putting them in the racks to go through the dishwasher. I should just put them on the racks and then spray them down then slide them through, but no my brain doesn't wanna do that.

Dude, that takes some muscle memory.
To quote my uncle, "it's fun watching people work" :-)
Have to say he got skills.
I'd never hire this guy. Those dishes are definitely not clean. I used to be a dishwasher, simply spraying it lightly with the hose and running it through the machine absolutely does NOT get the job done.
Yes it does thats how its supposed to be done. Spray of the dishes and send it through. The machine does the washing and sterilizing for you. The temp on those machines are between 160 to 190 degrees
I am a dishwasher and things like Egg, bean sauce, gravy very rarely come out clean if you put them straight in the dishwasher. I soak all of the food dishes in the sink for around 10 minutes while i do other things like take clean plates back, dry cutlery etc. and then 99% of the time all plates will go straight through without a problem.
I used to work in the pit too. This is enough as long as your changing the water through out the day

those are soft plastic plates already clean with no food and sauces. at my job they use very heavy ceramic plates most you can lift at that position it maybe 6 and they will break by doing it that way .
Good luck doing that with different sized plates covered in ranch/catsup/icing/grease slop with pieces of food and trash stuck to them. Yes the servers and bussers are supposed to scrape but #1 a well scraped dirty plate still has all kinds of shit stuck to it and #2 servers and bussers can't even figure out basic shapes and always put plates in the wrong stack. So good luck getting them to properly scrape.

true! what about sticky pans and dirty silver?
I just worked as a dishwasher today for the first time and when i asked the other dishwasher at what time do we get our lunch, he said that we get no lunch time. At the end of the shift i got no lunch time and no breaks as well.I worked 8 hours straight without a single break. Is that even allowed by the law, like wtf???
mcAnthony1000 you should have a break, it is ur right...but if you take a break the boss should get a cook to cover for you so you don’t get backed up....it’s illegal not to have a break but many high functioning jobs don’t have breaks
Where I am, was a part timer cook as yesterday was my last day, sometime my boss wouldn't even let me have a break. And I sometime don't have break by my own choice, because of all the shit we need to get done.
What state are you in? In california you legally have to take a break after 6 hours or else your employer can get in very serious trouble you sign a waiver saying you do not want to take a break
mcAnthony1000, by “no lunch time”, he meant you’re on you’re own; you can break whenever you want (not really)
mcAnthony1000 yea man I feel you. When I used to work we had no specific time for breaks when we did it was just short like 5 mins max and back to the work. Anyways the cook was really nice and the kitchen people always helped me washing the dishes. Btw I started as a dishwasher when I was 14 and got my 1st pay check 120.00 it seems good for working 3 days Friday 4-10 Sat 1-10 Sunday 9-4

I am a dishwasher also been all my life and I am impressed however couldn't do that on porcelain plates they would be shattered. But I can load 5 or 6 racks at a time with porcelain plates and spray everything off with a hose just as fast and shove them through the machine.
Cool technique for putting the plates in the dish rack, however a quick light spray like that doesn’t rinse the dishes properly much less wash them in a sanitary way. Hopefully the machine they’re going into does the actual cleaning.
