Like when she's watching her back like there is still somebody around her and then her confused look when she finds no one because it's just the ghost of her relationship that's haunting her. The laugh for freedom and happyness, the anger, the sadness. It's perfection.

    • ethan Aker i think it’s more of her confessing what she went through and all of her pain and just her telling us her story. it’s like a healing song in a way. and justin is definitely part of that and she did say “2 months and you replaced us” in the song which is referring to justin replacing selena with his wife within two months after they broke up.

  • This song told my story... and i felt it. lost my husband 5 months ago to an OD we were in the middle of a divorce not because i didnt love him anymore but because i felt that i was losing myself and carrying the burden of an alcoholic that was never willing to change. After he passed away i felt so guilty for not fighting hard enough but in the midst of it all i found myself and know that he is resting in peace without the constant battle of drugs and alcohol.

  • I had the same reaction as you. It’s a beautiful song that comes from a deep place. She’s gorgeous and the fact that she went through all she did and was able to make beautiful and artistic music out of it makes her even the more beautiful. From the interviews I’ve seen of her, this time she genuinely looks like she’s in a really good place. She’s in a state of peace and serenity that just shines right through her. I’m so glad she’s in a better place. The rain doesn’t last forever. After the storm comes the sunshine... ❤️
