Michael Jackson created an ambitious teaser video to promote the release of ‘HIStory - Past, Present and Future - Book I’ in 1995. Filmed at Heroes’ Square in Budapest, Hungary, this short film, directed by Rupert Wainwright, features Michael leading an army while surrounded by fans, as well as the unveiling of the massive statue as seen on the ‘HIStory’ album cover.

  • HIStory is MJ's best and most important work. Its his most personal album. You got to see the biggest icon lash out and also cry about his life. he's cussing, he's tired and angry. Hes also depressed and lonely. Everything that was going on within him was expressed. From "They dont care about us" to "Childhood" to "Scream". He laid it all on the line. People back then said this promo was self indulgent ..but in my opinion this was him standing up and saying "IM MICHAEL JACKSON BITCH!" He changed culture. History is a work of art
