Step by step tutorial in how to groom a Pomeranian just by using your shears. No clippers required!
The Pomeranian coat can be trimmed periodically to maintain the shape and length. Depending on the health of your Pomeranian, the amount of coat and length varies. To keep them looking fabulous, a good trim is required!

  • I love this but my pom would never sit still. She always turn to try to look at what I'm doing. How do you train them to stay still? Also this looks much easier than it is hehe

  • Really beautiful technique in this video. I never understood the top line, i had always tried using curves around the body and getting frustrated with that part and ultimately setting my line with a long attachment comb. I really appreciate the detailed video

  • Long story short, Pomeranian's are great dogs for singles and people with older children. Pomeranian's ARE High Maintenance. I have 3, TRUST ME, I know!

    • It's about the height of your pin comb, roughly around 2.5cm to 3cm

  • For all new and future Pomeranian owner's..... Pomeranian are great dogs for singles and family with older kids. Never shave you Pomeranian's fur, have a professional groomer TRIM fur, not shave!!! Shaving a double coat dog will cause the dog yo have Propecia (patchy baldness) Also you'll have to brush the Pomeranian some daily and once thoroughly each week in between groomer appointments. In THIS video they show a scissor trim/shape. grooming.

    • @@carinaiboaya4868 show them this video OR tell them to TRIM FUR from the ends only And not to ever shave fur at skin or short to skin. Never.

  • Not my personal style of pom cut, BUT YOU WERE SOOOO GOOD TO THE DOG while doing ur job. So often i watch yhese videos n they r flim flamming the dog around wanting cooperation from the dog instead of reassuring the scared littles. U did BEYOND FANTASTIC 🎉 Thank you for being so kind. ❤

    • Agreed. I also like Poms hair (except I like a shorter fur tummy and a sanitized butt and paws trim otherwise I like the Poms fur to be as long as possible. I have 3 adult female PoM's

  • News flash. These are not Asian dogs! The Pomeranian breed has descended from an exceptionally long line of Arctic work dogs that could be often discovered in regions that today are called the Pomeranian regions of Poland and Northern Germany. Pomeranians Developed as a Breed by English Fanciers The Pom dog was developed as a breed and became known as the Pomeranian in England. It wasn’t until the 18th century that the Pomeranian (known then as the Wolf dog), became firmly established in England, as the breed captured the interest of members of the English monarchy.

    • Good information there. However, our channel name is not calling those dogs to be Asian but the Asian style of grooming. Hope you get that right!
