I have two Huskies. I love them so much but the shedding! OMG!! after this video, I ordered one of these vacuums. Life changer for sure. I had my husky professionally deshedded and groomed two weeks ago. Today my house looks like something out of a Disney on Ice special, but with dog hair instead of fake snow.

Hey! I recently got a husky/wolf mix. We have been attempting to be on schedule with his crate, when we go to work and bed.. When we go to bed he is fine in his crate in the living room, although when I leave to walk my other husky (we live in an apartment) my husky that I'm trying to crate train will cry on end and he will do so for the whole time I'm away from work as well, which is only for 5 hours. I've been watching all of your videos regarding crate training but what is a tip you have for a dog that's already (somewhat) half way there???

I have 3 Huskies so I know how bad that they can shed and some have much denser coats than others. I do have to say that the worst fur was from my now husband’s Rottweiler/Sheperd/Lab mix. Within a day I found his fur inside my dishwasher, which never happened with my Husky fur. I also opened my cabinet above my refrigerator that hadn’t been opened in months and there was his fur. His undercoat is superfine and obviously floats everywhere. My Huskies just drop it at every step. My neighbor mentioned a Roomba that she got after she saw my floor, not realizing that I swept that morning. When she told me that the container held a cup, I started laughing. I told her that I get a grocery bag full and I only brush them outside. This might work but I don’t know if they would let me near them with the noise.

I know this is a odd question. But do husky puppies have very much loose skin compared to breeds such as Australian shepherds or German shepherds? My little one does not have very much loose skin and she’s currently 3 months old.

Seriously would this work on frenchie bulldogs? Because of it worked on them it would work on other dogs to, right ! Why would it be just for huskies ?
What would you advise for grooming a husky that really hates being brushed with any kind of brush. Cause that's how my husky is, so it's really hard to brush her, let alone using something like this
So my husky doesn’t hate brushes, but he just doesn’t like to stay put. He’s very food motivated tho, so what I did to teach him to stay put and let me brush him, is I’d first train him to lay down on his side (lay down > turn to his side > build duration), then I’d include the brush, not even touching him, then reward if he doesn’t move, then put the brush closer after a few practices, when he doesn’t react to the brush. When he’s no longer reacting to the brush getting close, I’d put the brush in the body and reward. When he doesn’t react to the brush on his body, then brush once. Then overtime you build duration, two brushes, three brushes, etc. but be sure to practice this when he’s tired already (after playing, or a walk, but not overly tired so he won’t focus on you). Also make sure to use a treat he likes a lot, for me is cheese. And the practice durations should be short and sweet. Start with 5 minutes. Then when he starts behaving better, you can increase time. You can get your husky to tolerate brushing at least, even if they may never enjoy it.
Hi everyone! So i just found the most recent Video to post this. I love your Videos! So, a Husky has been my Dream breed since i was a Kid. But i absolutely adore my two Cats as well. I got a call from the Trust today that they have 8 week old Huskies and if i would like to come see them. Im getting one of the girls on Saturday. Now my Cats are Eight years old and grew up with a German Shepherd. But i have read so many horror stories about Huskies and Cats that i ended up crying at Work today thinking i was going to wake up to my Two babies Dead on morning. I really want this Puppy and i have time for the training. Ive watched your Videos on how to introduce them as well. Could anyone just give me a bit more advice or kinda ease my Fears. There a lot of Stories surrounding huskies killing the cat even years after living together but does anyone have success stories? They are both outdoor cats and live upstairs when they come in to nap or relax. They eat on the Stairs and im thinking of putting a Gate up. What do you all think?
We have 2 huskies and my daughter has a cat and there are no issues. The dogs will sometimes get on the cat's nerves cuz they always wanna play with him or sniff him, but they've never been aggressive. Only sniffing and licking the cat lol.
