    • are you sure though? Don't get me wrong, Stan's awesomely great, but... If you don't only consider bh (both average and peak), but also the (average and peak) fh, the (avervge and peak) serve, the movement on the court and the aggression in the overall playing style? I mean he has one of the most powerful bhs (but e.g. Thiem and Gasquet have an even more powerful one) but he's not among the most powerful with respect to fh, serve, movement on the court etc So I'm not sure how you would put him in a general "top top" position tbh...

  • James Blake was a wild pick. I think Sock or Rublev could have been on this list. Also, you can't compare two very different generations, Lendl was powerfull but nowadays he wouldn't even be on the top 10.

  • No one disagrees with #1 and 2 :-) Blake should be #3 (put the two USO returns against Jesse Huta Gulang in there) Joachim Johansson has to be 3 or 4. The back2back Gonzo returns against Bobby Reynolds got to be in here. And Cmon, Nadal, really? The greatest slow court dirt baller of all time. Might as well put Monfils or Verdasco in there instead And where's my man Gilles Simon? 🙂

  • I think thiem is the strongest rn. Can generate so much power from both wings, while players like delpo and Gonzales could generate incredible power from the forehand but not as much from the backhand. Still two really powerful players.

  • In the last Gonzalez clip he tagged Stepanek with a forehand at 120mph. If you slow the clip down it doesn't even look like he hit the ball out of the sweet spot. Imagine if he middled it; he could have added another 5-10mph on that. That's a scary thought.

    @albertoarmas7617@albertoarmas76173 жыл бұрын
    • One handed backhands have more potential for power cause you can get more extension through the ball on it, and because you only use one hand you can also get a bigger take back as you aren't restricted by the other hand.
