I’m big fan of khamzat but I would give the edge to Pereira in that fight. Chimaev is a fantastic wrestler but Pereira has world class kicking and striking skills that would make it difficult for Chimaev to close the distance and get on the inside where he excels the most. And if you ask any ai and google or mma experts their answer would be same. And don’t forget khamzat fights in light weight category and alex fights in light heavyweight there is significant difference between their opponents. Light heavyweight fighters are beasts.

I agree with all of them but the power can mean multiple things. In terms of physical strength Chimaev is better, stronger mainly with his wrestling. We can imagine a scenario where they’ll wrestle a little and Alex has no chance there (as we saw it against Izzy who dominated him on the ground) but in terms of the strength meaning the ko power then yes Alex is a double glory champ so that’s pretty solid. But I think overall Chimaev wins because he fights like a beast, he well drown you right away, Alex’s takedown defence is mid and against someone who can’t nulifie the wrestling, Khamzat would just try to kill him from the beginning and he probably will but if Alex can work on that then maybe the fight will be more close. But yeah I’ll take Chimaev on this one

I agree with all of them but the power can mean multiple things. In terms of physical strength Chimaev is better, stronger mainly with his wrestling. We can imagine a scenario where they’ll wrestle a little and Alex has no chance there (as we saw it against Izzy who dominated him on the ground) but in terms of the strength meaning the ko power then yes Alex is a double glory champ so that’s pretty solid. But I think overall Chimaev wins because he fights like a beast, he well drown you right away, Alex’s takedown defence is mid and against someone who can’t nulifie the wrestling, Khamzat would just try to kill him from the beginning and he probably will but if Alex can work on that then maybe the fight will be more close. But yeah I’ll take Chimaev on this one
