Ever since I’ve learned your cybersecurity methods of not being infected I’ve been more at ease when I’m downloading things i always scan sites and folders with virus total I emulate old consoles and you have to get the consoles firmware and other folders and they might be a malware so I use these methods to make sure I’m safe

@@NicoKnowsTech couldn’t be more happier I also have a video suggestion for you: you should make a video about the Chris Titus tool also known as CTT it’s a command that you paste onto your terminal( on windows 11 don’t know where on windows 10) but the key features that the tool has is you can enable OO shut up and my favorite to change windows updates to security updates only and delay the update for 5 days to prevent any problems… and many more awesome features the amazing people of this. Chanel need to know about this tool (P.S you can also pick to uninstall windows apps by just ticking a box and many more).

whenever i use autoruns without scrolling or clicking it closes immediately however when i scroll down a little bit as soon as i open it it doesn't close. i've done scans with hitmanpro and kaspersky and i'm pretty sure it's not a virus but do you know why this happens?

Hi Nico, is this method as effective as TronScript? Also I am paranoid about whether or not my pc is infected so I had done a CLOUD DOWNLOAD reinstall about 5 times, selected the clean the drive option and did not do it via usb. Will that remove any kind of virus or malware?
This method is superior in detection of threats running on the system but does not scan files that are downloaded but not executed.

I was able to compete this on one of my pc's and I am trying to do so on a desktop running Windows 11 and after checking the 3 bottom boxes and rescanning I keep getting taken to a page "VT DOC" which discusses Terms of Service. I used the correct unzipped file and ran as administrator. Can you advise? Thank-you.

I was Modding Doom 3 for vr, windows firewall warned me, I clicked allow, something tried to access my microphone, my desktop was deleted in order by file type leaving some shortcuts by the time I pulled the net cord and restarted. I did a system restore, in the restored state, chrome and windows defender won't launch. desktop stuff still mostly missing. I'm guessing the next thing to do is reinstall windows right? My powershell virus scans don't have a progress bar percentage or give any summary (as if its supposed to look like its doing something while its not). I really thought system restore would have saved me

Latency on a connection is usually due to either a poor connection to the router or an overworked router. What router do you have and how many devices are on the network?

dear nico-thanks for answering an earlier question but i have one more....after running tron and it says "all steps are finished but space regained on c drive won't become visible until a reboot is done (words to that effect) does that mean just restarting computer or does it mean going back to restore point created at the beginning of tron process? i think this may qualify as a dumb question but i go back to message of "not enough temporary space to transcode...blah, blah, blah!" so i feel like i'm not doing something i'm supposed to. thanks regardless. good luck!

Hi Nico, my windows 10 start menu does not close automatically after I click on something that I have added to the start menu like it used too until I click on the screen somewhere. It has been doing this now for about 2 weeks. I have done a system reinstall but the problem was still there so then I did a full clean install on a new SSD and it fixed it but now today an app did an update and right away I had the same problem back. Now today I installed a SSD out of my backup PC that was working fine but as soon as it booted up I checked the start menu and it was now doing the same thing. I have searched the internet but have not been able to find anything about, do you have any idea's what could be the problem. Thanks.

My friend gave me video files that he pirates online and I was stupid for not heeding Google’s warnings before downloading them. Whenever I try to delete stuff, they don’t delete and my hard drive unplugs itself over and over

Hi Nico! After installing tdss killer and running it from you other video, it prompted me to reboot and I did, however my laptop boot into "automatic repair can't repair your pc" and "your pc did not boot correctly" what should I do now? Please I need my laptop now😭 (Windows 11)
It is working fine before I did that. The reason why I did that is I suspected that my laptop is infected by a crypto mining malware because whenever I open task manager it always shows 100% cpu usage then will go back to 4% after a blink of an eye even the laptop is idle and some games were not performing as it did before my suspicion started, all I did was install sklauncher which is I know not 100% trustable and I use it for about 2 days and uninstall, after that I used the official Minecraft. I've already tried doing a Startup Repair but failed, now I don't know what to do😭 but thanks if you would repond!!
No problem. After the automatic repair fails and you get a recovery menu, choose troubleshoot, advanced, then startup options. It will reboot again then ask you what kind of boot you want. Choose "safe mode w command prompt" Then when you get to the command prompt run the following command: SFC /scannow Then reboot. It should be fixed.

@@gianluna2799 No, I don't. Seeing 100% CPU usage when you open task manager is normal because task manager itself is gathering all of the info of the machine rapidly for you. That's why it dropped back to 4% right after.

Sounds like a lot of Adware. Definitely remove them. Will speed up your PC a lot.

Hello there. DMP files are Windows Memory Dump files. These are automatically created by Windows and programs when they need to clear their usage of your system memory. It happens more regularly when programs crash but also occur normally. You can't get rid of them forever as they will be created again during normal usage of your computer. Windows automatically deletes DMP files regularly.

Had a RAT that none of the top anit-virus scanners could detect for years (Autoruns, Windows Defender, Malwarebytes, Bitdefender, Eset etc). I knew because the hacker who frequents a game server always knew intricate details about me. The only other explaination was he was psychic. The RAT would reinfect my computer everytime I formatted and did a clean install. I figured it must have hijacked the Windows 10 installation media I made. I would always see a blanked out process named 'Program' in Task Manager Start Up with no publisher whenever I did a clean installation. Computer would also blue screen crash frequently. File loading may also have been slow. Other than that, everything seemed normal. Is this possible? What are the chances of this occurring?
did you do a full wipe of your hard disk(s) for the clean wipe?
@@soes0kavion I did a quick reformat on my hard drive before a clean install of Windows. Now I have command promt and powershell disabled to make it harder for them.
i would check to see if its not other devices on your network that the attacker mightve pivoted into. Also possible theres a file in a cloud server you use that is infecting your computer @@smokescreen2146
Please anyone one tell me if I am safe already. Ive done the whole Tron process, malwerbite and autorun is not finding anything any more but my windows keeps on alerting me that I have 3 Trojans. Also some of my programs are not opening, and I can’t even find them in my search bar. My task manager is full of the same programs and all diffident kinds of app (or what ever it is). Windows defender remove option does nothing to the Trojan alerts. Is there anything else I can do ? I really can’t afford bringing my pc to it factory settings, I have spent waaay to much time on all of my things that I would have to all over again if brought back to default. Pleas help, I haven’t slept trying to fix it, I am so desperate to get this over with.
Only had false positives on autoruns, however Windows Defender says there are 186 threats on my PC, mostly Trojans and backdoor exploits and other viruses. I've already shredded the file it says they originated from and done multiple scans with other services and I'm getting nothing back. I can't get peace of mind until the alerts from Windows Defender are gone. Idk if it's just a glitch or something

Switch Antivirus solutions. AVG in its app will alert on pirated software as if it is Malware because it has agreements with Microsoft and other publishers. On VirusTotal the results are only about malware/viruses.
