  • As someone that’s battling with depression currently and suicidal thoughts, this is very relatable. Sometimes it feels like we’ll never climb out of this hole, and if we were gone, no one would even remember our names.

    • When I get low, I go hunt for people to help. Grocery store, I'll put your cart back for you. Finding someone to compliment and give them a big positive shot to their day. Nothing fake, I just go find ways to be good to people. It's mostly easy to go find people to help or give a shot of happiness to. It helps me. A lot. The world is a better place when I'm in love attack mode. Maybe not much, but it is better. This helps me. I hope you find your way sooner rather than later. Peace.

    • Why are you battling "depression" How? Does your wife cheat on you,bad coworkers, bad living conditions?? Because if it's things like that then join the club buddy,if not get on medication and stop airing out your business! There's this weird push to convince everyone their depressed lately, and that it's ok to tell everyone, scream from the rooftops that you're depressed and unhappy!? It's somehow the new Fad

  • This hurt me too watch, all Robert wanted was his family, he was craving love from his mom and Dad and he didn't get it, so he was drowing himself in alcohol, after losing his brother then seeing his Mom and Dad and them not letting him in their lives I believe pushed him over. This story is so heartbreaking. I know the feeling of being the strong one for everybody else yet you're dying inside. Not a good feeling. Robert you will always be remembered. He made sure everybody else was ok meanwhile he was dying inside.

    • Ya man, his parents are a big part to blame. I hope they realize no God would want them to turn their back on family. I’m Christian and I know God wants us to have a relationship with our family even if they don’t share the same beliefs. His parents should hold some guilt for they did.

  • It isn't a one day fight, not a week, it isnt a month, and every situation is so different, but so many little indicators get missed. Anyone else sit outside a hospital, I couldn't afford to go in anymore, stress does things that no disease can do. When u mix that with bipolar, depression, trauma. I know I will have to manage it, and it takes time to get out of that deep place. Ice bath help bc it's the only thing that shuts down that scrambling in my mind, for me it slowed it down when I was 5 seconds from plunging. My brain would empty before I touched the water. Started this after rehab, I use alcohol to try to survive to give me a window, didn't work bc the aftermath and how it poisons u. Bandage. Can't fall a sleep and don't want to get wake up. Walking to the kitchen feels like 100 miles. You wake up in it and sometimes it wakes u up. You also start popping in and out. Those windows get tighter and tighter.

  • Trained at Coutures 2010-2012 and never did meet Robert. Wish I had, but I trained with Eric and he is a phenomenal coach who reflects Robert's training style. Ray Sefo had just arrived at Extreme Coutures and he too was a coach. SBG taught contemporary JKD, so it was more relevant to MMA than self defense street fighting. I now see how it all was interconnected in hindsight. The reason I was attracted to MMA was that the intense training protocol kept me from depression and anxiety. Sad to see this happen to two brothers as it breaks my heart.

Good Jehovah witnesses would accept their children no matter what, as would a Good Christian, a good Muslim, a good Buddhist, a good Hindu, a good Atheist etc. I'm aware that Jehovah witnesses are encouraged to shun non believers in their family but that isn't God's fault, that is the misleading of man and anyone that falls into that trap doesn't comprehend God's message in the first place. Good Churches and preachers of all religions are encouraged to accept anyone that is lost, broken, hurt or content. I truly hope you find your way out of the pain and anger that you carry with you and find your happiness and remember that someone cares about you too and spreading negativity helps no one especially you.

  • False religion can be extremely dangerous. Unclean spirits are unintentionally invited in where they destroy everything they can. If you're going to reach to the spiritual realm you must weigh the spirits carefully. The truth is you don't know what you don't know. Dear Lord may you bless and keep Robert and his brother and his entire family, may you make your presence in their lives so undeniable that it give them an everlasting faith in you. Lord I pray that you put a hedge of protection around these people, deliver them from the unclean spirits that are wreaking havoc in their lives. Fill their hearts with your love and guidance Lord for you know better than anyone the immense strife we the generations existing in the final days of end times are going through. In the mighty name of Christ Jesus I pray, amen.
