I love how Gaara gained so much wisdom and is more badass than ever. Glad they made him more fleshed out as a character than just some bad guy.
Not to negate you but Gaara seems a little too soft than he needs to be . Perhaps the writers did this so Naruto and Sasuke get the attention otherwise Gaara to me was was a little too badass in the Chunin exams. He had that extreme factor that polarised him. Every1 has new moves except Gaara he deserved more.

That's the most useless combination of jutsu I've ever heard. The only thing sand would add to amaterasu is be ability to control it's movement as it'd be attached to the sand of which Gaara controls...but Sasuke already has control of the Amaterasu directly.
I like how people are commenting about how good Sasuke was doing at the summit but not keeping in mind that he was defended several times with a couple of those times being life saving defenses. Had Obito or White Zetsu not been there he would have died at least twice. Don't get me wrong, Sasuke is pretty good at this point but I feel like people are giving him too much credit and making it seem like he had the kage against the ropes or something.

Bro did not fight them all at once. It was one at a time and you can’t even reassure he fought Onoki and Mei. Obito went and rescued his ass from Onoki because one move was more than sufficient to reduce him to nothing. Raikage could’ve won if he weren’t so damn impatient for no reason, he was definitely stronger than Gaara, and Danzo decided to only use Izanagi and Wind Style despite supposedly being a rival to Hiruzen.
I forgot to mention that I’m pretty sure Zetsu saved him from Mei. For some reason my brain slipped that detail.
Well he fought them one after another and those fights weren't seen through. He would have lost against Onoki, Mei, possibly Ay. Probably would have defeated Gaara and did defeat Danzo. But the MS sharingan is OP. Susanoo is a terrifying jutsu and with the amaterasu it's so unfair it makes him a threat to just about anyone.
