Christian, you’re gas, the rest of us maintain our discos and hope for no issues and you go and buy one with loads of issues! We have a saying here in Ireland, “you are a glutton for punishment” 😅
Land rovers are reliable if you maintain them
Always interested in your Land Rover escapades, you produce videos with humour and technical knowledge. Good work guys.
Vera seemed very excited with the Grenadier and Christian secretly loves it.😉
Thanks for taking us along. Excellent content. 🙏🏼
Hi , your both always fun to watch , so much knowledge , hidden between those ears , dispensed to help others , enjoy their LR,s . Please keep the videos coming . Take care .
Learning a lot all the videos you post; and really enjoyed the input on the Grenadier. Thank you guys. 😃
Love your videos, as a current LR3 owner in the US they are much appreciated. Thank you!
Kurt seems like a excited tutor .It would have been nice to just get on with it .Enjoyed your video once Kurt vanished
Love my Sunday's when i can sit and watch LR Time ❤
Great content on the Grenadier Vera and Christian thank you! I’m very keen to see and hear about the new Mall Crawler and it’s acquisition. Cheers from the UK
Keep the content coming its all fab a pleasure to watch quickest 25mins of the night..
Very cool review! Thanks for showing us the Ineos Grenadier. Would love to get one in the near future!
That is really nice. I like all the aircraft switches. No carpet - excellent feature.
Looking forward to the next video. Great show
Thanks again guys, for another interesting video.
your channel never disappoints 👍
Hello Christian and Vera, good idea the video for the detail of the parts of the discovery 3. Thank you for the video, good Sunday 👏
I enjoy watching you guys. Keep up the good work. From your friendly New Zealander
Perfect as usual. Great content. This is only the second KZhead channel my wife will watch. That says a lot. Thank You
The announcement of the new Mall Crawler saved my subscription 😅😂. Jokes aside, I always look forward to tuning in on a Sunday. I’m just buying all the parts for a brake rebuild on my D4, so will be following the next few episodes with interest. Best, Ty.
By the way in a LR Defender you can also select low ratio with or without the central diff locked ,of course this is very useful as it avoids needless stress on the drive train when driving over rough ground were the wheels are unlikely to slip and just engage centre diff lock as required. This prevents or at least minimises transmission windup which happens on part time4x4systems when off road on hard terrain . Love your channel
Same as my 2003 VW Touareg.
Great vídeo as usual. Thanks for sharing! Best regards
Vera will finally get her radio! Looking forward to the installation. That Ineos is pretty nice!
Great job as ever guys 👍
Love how Vera says “We should test it in the darrrk!” 😂😂 Love you guys
Thank goodness we'll have a new bucket full of content for the winter ahead 😁
Thanks for another great video! I love your content and watch them all! I also love the Grenadier and the Western Alps. One small comment: my Toyota Land Cruiser 150 (yes, I have one) has low range and centre diff lock and you can use them separately. And it's a base model. Keep up the good work! Peter
Vera, another good vid. Thanks.
Was very good content. Very informative. Thanks.
Cannot wait for the new up and coming videos.
Excellent as always, I sat in a Grenadier last weekend, very nice, I know someone who’s ordered one, they have been given 2 different dates for delivery, second date was this month, I find it hilarious that you’ve bought another disco as the other one never broke!
happy the Ineos Grenadier has been design and built. Nice video. I like it. Merci
You guys are informational and hilarious
Hey Christian and Vera, I have just bought a Disco 4 off the back of your great videos. Well done and keep them coming.
😅👍Hope you have fun with it. 🙋♀️
Well your feelings really mirror mine , I’ve had a good crawl over the Grenadier at the Goodwood Revival the last few year’s and have been very impressed with the thought that’s gone into this vehicle in every respects it’s everything a Defender never was or could have been and I’ve been working on Landrovers for work and pleasure if you can call it that the last 38 years 😅
Cool vids coming along, great 😜👍🏻
NICE TO SEE YOU SOOOO VERY HAPPY
I say it all the time, but I love the dynamic you guys have! Oh… I like your videos too
😅🙏💪🙋♀️Vera
Interesting vehicle, thanks. Looking forward to the new D4 content!
Wonderful video
Interesting video, as always, thanks. It looks like your new "Mall Crawler" is the face-lifted D4 as I noticed the black surround of the rear lights, rather than the red surround of the earlier D4. Looking forward to seeing the videos on it.
looking forward to more great vids....keep up the good work....love from England 💝💖💗💓💞☕
Love your input on the Grenadier. Struggling with going ahead with one or not🙈 delighted you seem to like it and you’re impressed with the quality.
Thanks for your review. Really looking forward to your on road review, since that’s where mine (if I get one) will spend 90%+ of the time. 👍😎
Problem is when you've got a good Discovery 4 HSE, nothing else will compare! Good video. You had a great day out.
Can’t wait for next episode. Wow new mall crawler. Yay
Great work👌
“She means with mud okay” 😂😂😂😂😂😂 love it
First time viewing the channel, love the humor and mechanical expertise. Great job guys, please keep up the Grenadier content
Thanks for sharing your ride in the Grenadier. It really does look like an airplane cockpit inside. 😀 I like watching your stuff anyway, but now I'm curious about the new Disco. 🤔
That BMW straight six petrol engine seems very loud. Love the plain, cockpit style set-up. A real workhorse 👍
I decided to watch this again, when Ford was designing the Transit in 1964 they asked tradesmen people what they wanted in a van before they built it & it became an iconic van, this is what Ineos seem to be doing finding out what people want from the Grenadier which is a very good idea
We agree with you. 😀👍🙋♀️Vera
Thanks for the video very interesting.
Fab video guys.... 👌
Great video
Didn't get any notifications at all. Great video, cheers.
Looking forward to the new content!
First time viewer - that was fun. Love the aviation styled switchgear…
👍💪Hope you look around our channel. You'll find another Grenadier video. 🙋♀️Vera
Thank you. Interesting video and … the boss got a nice coffee mug🙂!
That is a plus for Krah+Enders, the dealership who organized the event💪. I have never gotten from Land Rover, and I have been to a couple of vehicle release parties. 😅🙋♀Vera
@@Vera_and_Christian They obviously have a better understanding of how to interact with customers and people who communicate to potential customers. In other words, they live in the real world.
Good evening Vera & Christian. I thought for a minute you was getting a grenadier so that would be the end of LR fixing videos 🤣 Vera seems smitten by it 🤩 Then right at the end boom 💥 You’ve got a project woohoo 🙌 Have a great week both of and I’m so excited for next Sunday already lol 😆 😘 For Vera 🏴
I am concerned Vera will now be saying OMG. Oh My Grenadier
Vera (who is always happy and smiling) "it's the perfect car for getting duurty!" Christian, knowing his audience, looks at us down the camera lens "she means muddy!" 🤣 brilliant, love your videos.
Looking foward to the new mall crawler videos :D
all the land Rover defenders and discos I had the ability to shift in and out of hi lo range without engaging centre diff lock. And you can shift out of low range into hi range without stopping. Works great when climbing Rocky Mtn passes with a trailer/
Yes, I bet with a bit of practice you can shift if the vehicle is moving. Works on our lr3 also. Christian
Looking forward to the new D4 content as I have some upcoming maintenance on mine to do, so I will be using your videos as a refresher course. I have also installed a computer in my garage so I can watch your videos as I work.
😅👍💪We still need to do that. 🙋♀️Vera
Bring your own water and clay! Love it.
Love you guys 👍
Very excited to see your new content. Vera needs to make coffee for her new cup.
Lol 😂😂😂. Christian
You guys are so fun. Thanks for the video. That BMW shifter is out of place.
Can’t wait for new videos 🎉🇮🇪
Yeah if I win the lotto I'll buy one... but for now I'm very happy with my Disco 3! Nice Vid you guys!
Disco 1 and some Disco 2 have center locking diff exactly same, you can have 4L with center diff locked or unlocked. Nice touch with ASPW :)) he would love it.
Great video, as are they all. FWIW my old 1984 SWB BJ42 Landcruiser had three windscreen wipers🤣 Cheers, Peter.
👌👍😃👌 I am still considering buying an FJ one day, just because of the looks and the 3 wiperblades🙋♀️
@@Vera_and_Christian Oh do it! Mine was the BJ42 so it was a diesel (3.4 litre four cylinder). My previous car was a 1977 FJ40 (so petrol). Both vehicles purchased new and both traveled the Simpson Desert and beyond. Good memories.
Thank you both that was a great video. I am thinking of breaking my discovery 2 so I can also have projects. Yeah right lol.
You would have to send me an email, then I can send you the info on how to pay for the sticker. 👍😀🙋♀️Vera
Hi, we sold our LR3 V8 three years ago (nearly 300.000 kms and never problems with engine or gearbox, but always with the breaks !) and we are still mourning…until last weekend, when we also drove the IG. My wife also with Kurt (she said: he‘s the best). And I‘m so happy now that I ordered the IG Trialmaster (petrol one) already in May. Especially after seeing both of you liking the IG very much !! Keep on posting your always very entertaining and helpful videos .
Thanks grate wideo 👍👍👍
I really like your channel. Lets make the LR reliable and not scary to own :)
I remember Kurt from Hogan's Heroes. He played my favorite character, General Albert Burkhalter. He still sounds exactly the same after all these years!
It was interesting to hear Christian speaking Hessian (babbeln). I would love to follow a conversation between you and Sebastian Vettel.😁 Now we know the reason why there has always been so little content about a D4. Exited to see what is coming up next with the latest member of your vehicle fleet.👍
I really would like to test drive this and have my own opinion as I own a 110 Defender Td5 and a D4 V8 and a Series 3 Swb I really enjoyed this video and thanks 🙏🏼 I have test driven the latest Defender and certainly not in a rush to get one!
HAHAHAHA, i want my mall crawler to not break at all! but watching your works are like investing in insurance.
😅👍🙋♀️Vera
Kurt reminds me of that show where the TV presenter was fired for laughing at the unfortunate chap with the squeaky voice. Kurts the unfortunate chap with the squeaky voice bless him!
This is the Defender that Land Rover should have built. I love this thing! Too bad it’s gonna be priced sky high in the States. Loved the video, thank you.
Just subbed. Good video
You guys are a pleasure to watch. Love your sense of humor. It’s going to be interesting to see how the Ineos sells. It’s a copy of a model that could barely sell towards the end of its model life, but who knows. Lots of people seem to like the idea. Personally, I’m more than happy to allow computers to do more of the decision making on when to lock diffs, and other advanced off road features of my new defender, and I’m more than happy with the compromise of all independent suspension for better road handling at the cost of extreme rock crawling. It’s so much easier to cross varied terrain with the modern LR terrain controls and automatic lockers doing the thinking for me that it would be a big step down to go manual again. I get the allure of less tech, but I’m all in on the benefits of modern computers and electronics, and unless I’m crossing the African continent, can’t see going back. Regardless, most Ineos are going to end up parked next to G-Wagons at Whole Foods, so who are we kidding.
This car may also be a competitor to Toyota for the UN and commercial use cases. Not right away but down the road. Christian
Very excited for my test drive soon. Picking up about what you said about self-service and warranty, on the 2B test drive in the UK, I was speaking to the head of warranty/after sales and he mentioned, that the warranty will be honoured if you can prove that you have correctly serviced the car. (although this may have changed in the last year)
Yes, please do. Thanks, Christian
There is law on any new vehicle in the UK providing that your garage is a proper business and they must use genuine manufacturers parts. My friends garage services lots of new Mini's that are still covered by their manufacturers warranty.
@@andicog I see, from what I understand as long as you have receipts for the correct parts then the warranty is still valid. I think this is in part to the detailed online manual.
Great content as always. A Land Rover with no problems - are you sure it was a Land Rover?
Hello CHristian & Vera, very nice video, thanks a lot. I have already been waiting for it eagerly. 🙂 I was there the day after you, and guess what happend? The BMW representative greeted me with the words "Hallo Herr xxxxxxxs, der Christian xxxh war gestern auch schon da!" (names garbled) Apparently there had already been some conversation about my motorbike/s. The world is a village ;-)
Yes, you are well known in the Grenadier world in Germany 👍. Christian
@@Vera_and_Christian "the Grenadier world in Germany" is an even smaller village. Yet. ;-)
Great content as ever. Thank you for the entertainment and knowledge. So when is Vera getting her Grenadier? ;-)
😅🙋♀️Vera
Great video guys. I think the new Defender looks nicer than the Grenadier, but it's way too expensive. Looking forward to the new content on the new LR4, as I have an LR4 as well and there are differences to the LR3. I will let you know how its been going with my Turbo swap later on. I had a massive problem because a bolt snapped off in the exhaust manifold, and then on top of that I snapped the extractor off in the bolt!!! Massive problem getting it out... but I will update you later. Keep the content going, its awesome!
I think the new Defender looks like a 4x4 designed specifically for Barbie. That front end is cartoon-like.
OMG, respect for your work, especially with a body on.👍🙋♀️
Defenders and discovery2/1 can change from high to low without diff in and with diff in . Great video
As I recall so could my Range Rover Classic
These are 30 year old cars. You have to look at new SUVs and compare apples with apples. And nowadays, everything is regulated electronically. 🙋♀️
@@Vera_and_Christian By the way there is now a 10-40 beer, to go with your 10-40 oil
@@Colinpark I know 😅Someone send me a picture of that beer last week. Wish he would have send me the beer can. 😀🙋♀Vera
Christian, can nog waiht for the coming video’s And a grenadier is nog a Discovery! Love the discovery 4 hse Fantastic car! Go one you two, Hvl,❤
I hope the Ineos does well. 🇬🇧🏆👍
Wow they are a nice truck but very expensive ☹️ Thanks again.
I agree with Vera on the Parking Brake, Emergency Brake. We in Australia call it a Hand Brake!
We call it a hand brake too. 😀👍🙋♀️Vera
Another interesting video this Sunday. You finally got to drive the Grenadier yourself and I could see that you were having a lot of fun. The cockpit in front and especially in the roof reminds me of a Boeing 747. Very impressive.
Cockpit like a 747 ... uhm, did'nt this Ineos guys want to keep the car simple? 🤣
Thank you.
"When Vera is driving I can hit the emergency stop". Sold!
PS; "What did you pulled out!" - Made my Day! 🙂 - Bin mal seeehr gespannt, wie lange es dann auch dauern wird - wenn er endlich verfügbar ist - bis es im Zubehör dafür, oldschool Defender-Fronten gibt! ☺
You guys are fun
