Zidane and ronaldo left, he started getting game time and was doing good then he started turning into bale again… inconsistent and injuries…

  • Welsh guy here. The Welsh historically hate the English. They might be our only enemies tbh. So while every other country has several rivals to split up their hate between the hate of our entire nation is only directed towards England. No matter how Bale's career ends, he'll always be a Welsh legend and a national hero. Great vid btw.

  • Gareth Bale is by far one the most underrated footballer. He might not have Ronaldo or Messi, but with his immense skill set he could have added the third name the legendary duo. But that wasn't destined to. He possesses speed, power, aggression, great reputua and game awareness to create wonderful assists. Tragically the transfer that was supposed to be a launch pad for Bale turned out to be an ordeal. Even though Bale was very successful in whatever time Zidane allowed him.

  • Bale is a very interesting man. Despite his work, effort, goals and clutch plays Real Madrid never though about thanking him for his service once. They scolded him at every opportunity and took him for granted. And at some point they started to try to make him miserable. So he just stopped caring. Without Madrid he still would be one hell of a guy.

  • Good video. Often overlooked was the fact is while he played for Ancelotti the first time, Bale did Ronaldo's running. When attacking Madrid were 4-3-3 with Bale on the wing, when they lost the ball he was required to drop in and make a 4 man midfield. Sacrificed for the benefit of Ronaldo.

    @Escygt@Escygt2 жыл бұрын
    • Indeed. I used to get into arguments all the time with people trying to say that CR7 was a wing and Messi was a striker. It's like they missed CR7's entire career at Madrid, where Mourinho allowed him to run a lot as a target forward.

  • I'm proud to witness how great player he was. I doubt he will perform like he used to but life is full of surprises imagine if he somehow managed to score 30 goals. That would be an amazing goodbye to a legend, yes legend as I consider him that for what he has done for the club of Real Madrid. He did get a lot of unnecessary hate sadly but then he gave the club far more than Eden Hazard will. I lost hope with Eden and doubt he will accomplish half of the things that Bale did but that's a story for another video. Speaking of which great video glad you given some spotlight to Gareth Bale. 😇

  • A no brainer. Yeah he could have probably squeezed out more out of his career, but let's be honest, what he DID squeeze out is already enough to be considered a legend of the game. What he did in the EPL and much of it from LB was sensational. He arrived at RM and they instantly won their 10th CL title which they had been chasing for 12 years before he arrived. On top of the actual trophies and individual awards he won, he was also a complete player imo. Bale has almost every quality in skill, and in abundance. Strong, quick, energetic, can finish in the box, capable of acrobatic finishes, fantastic long range shooting, free kick specialist, fantastic crosser of the ball, great vision. Oh and he's a universal player who can play many different positions. From LB to forward, and he can do them at an elite level.

  • He was the first Madrid player I actually liked. He was fast, had one of the best shots, powerful. He always had quality but during his later years you could see that he wasn’t the physical specimen that he once was. Injuries of course played a huge part. The last 5 years or so of his career weren’t the best but man, his prime will never be forgotten. Easily a top 5 player in the world in his prime.

When you are talking about something like the iconic goal bale scored when he ran past Bartra it would definitely help if you showed the clip as well.. that would increase your views and would definitely be super helpful to your audience.. as you say he scored this or did that the video should correspond with the words your saying.. that being said I really enjoyed your video my friend.. you have earned yourself a subscriber and a well deserved like.. I especially enjoyed the comment about my team winning the UCL if I liked the video..🤣🤣🤣 good stuff

  • What happened? The same thing that happens to every player (even without any injuries) - AGE. Is current Messi as good as he was during his prime? How about Ronaldo? Not even close. What has changed? Age. And this is most evident in physical sports more than in any other career. Its not just a number. Its an indication of where you are in your career timeline. Some decline faster, some slower. But eventually everyone declines. No exceptions.

  • Playing in CR7's shadow at Real Madrid may have made Madrid fans not appreciate him like they supposed to. Plus his pricetag, since he was more expensive than Ronaldo may have been another factor. Had Bale been in a team where he was the star player he'd be appreciated more, just like Cavani at PSG, El Matador wasn't the star player or the main striker coz of Ibra, then Neymar & Mbappe. Cavani is the type that could get 50 plus goals in a season.
