Your question is the answer. Ole has shown that he doesn't like Donny. All that talk of Donny preparing himself to have an impact as a sub, only to be left out of the Europa League final, when we clearly needed his creativity. Everyone can see it and that's why no one asks.

No excuses, a proper manager would’ve found a way to win tonight, even with the red card. We still had 10 extremely talented players out there, he should’ve had them keep pushing for more goals. He immediately takes Sancho off for Dalot showing that he was ready to just try to defend the rest of the game. That is unacceptable in the UCL with a squad like this. Fair play to Young Boys for taking their chances.
I agree with you that there were poor managerial decisions tonight, but bringing on Dalot when AWB got sent off was probably the only right sub made tonight. Dropping to 5 at the back was a mistake, leaving us at 5,3,1 leaving all the midfield overrun all the second half and we just couldn’t get out.

But we have to admit that he is a smart and charismatic manager who can instantly change the game with his tactics. His weak point is that he is too confident and (probably) stubborn. How would you immediately switch to defense mode after a red card when u have a great attack, removing all your attacks and u expect to win the game. YB deserved the victory and that can hardly be denied. But the fact is that ManU uses x times more money and each player costs several times more than those of YB. Also, every player within ManU is probably considered better than every player of YB. his poor decision making and inept tactical awareness proves time and again he doesn’t have what it takes to win trophies. In this instance, a plan B was clearly not something that was considered hence why he threw on all defensive players and played 5 at the back. The coaching team doesn’t appear to look past plan A and consider a range of options under different circumstances, just do whatever and hope for the best. He showed this on many occasions and whilst he will steer the team to finish in CL position every season he doesn’t have what it takes to go that step further and challenge for trophies
I remember Chelsea almost won at anfiled by playing 5-3-1 after the sending off of Reece James. Ole has alot to learn in this game.

Game changed completely after the red card. That wasn't OGS fault, but his tactics and sub decisions after the red card were horrendous. You can't go 100% defensive for that long, England's loss at the Euros should have shown that to everyone. We don't seem to keep possession in a calm way. It's always losing the ball in the midfield, attackers dropping back to help out and we lose our outlet. There needs to be drills for our midfield that show them how to play through a press. I don't know what footballers don't want the ball!
