The fact that the MoM writers had not seen Wandavision explains A LOT

@@vanspratzy9573it’s not that they chose not to watch it- like she says it wasn’t finished yet
She's insanely honest in this and definitely admitted her flaws
What flaws?
What are you talking about? Shre only ''admitted'' her upper mouth sweating and ''poor'' singing lmao. Everything else was just analysing (and not just herself) and having fun, not ''admitting flaws'' and being ''insanely honest'', you have low standards for honesty my friend... Love her pointing out the MoM writers kind of glossing over WV
I couldn't NOT ask
@Adam Lance Garcia did a monumental service to WandaVision and cast. Not exaggerating here. It's really cool when you have a platform that let's actors give their say!
I feel like it's not entirely them glossing over it, she did mention that it wasn't even done filming yet when they had started. Also, i believe in another interview for a different MCU project, someone said that they're usually given an MCU project (directors and all) to do without necessarily knowing context of either upcoming mcu movies it connects to or just what future plans are for these characters that are always going to be subject to change anyway
@@joshdaniels they don't have to but it makes sense for writers to at least talk to each other
@@jastaykotuce2249 Like sometimes, Kevin feige doesn't tell specific project writers/directors whats going to happen to the character in the future so they cannot really do much than to write the characters arc within solely based on the information they are given, if that makes sense
Elizabeth Olsen is a brilliant actress. We can see how much she has improved over the years.
Loved her ever since Age Of Ultron(2015)
I got interested in Marvel when I saw her in the post credit scene of Captain America: Winter soldier
And also got out of her sisters shadows now she’s got her own thing and which is cool they support her.
She has just got nominated for a Golden Globe for her brilliant performance in Love & Death. What an actress!
I really hope that Aubrey Plaza's character in Agatha: Coven of Chaos crosses paths with Wanda. We need Elizabeth Olsen and Aubrey Plaza on screen together again!
I think it's Morgan Le Fay Aubrey is playing. Morgan and Chthon would be the most likely antagonists in a Scarlet Witch solo movie.
@Relugus That would be incredible! Patti LuPone confirmed that she is playing Lilia Calderu, and the coven of witches includes Aubrey Plaza. I still can't believe Aubrey Plaza and Patti LuPone are playing witches in a show centered around Kathryn Hahn's Agatha. This is a dream come true!
@@Relugus I honestly hope not, aubrey does not look like Morgan le fay AT ALL.
Jen Barkley and April Ludgate ;)
I really hope so too! Two brutally honest and open people playing in a scene together. It's 100 percent
she should have definitely won an award for wandavision

2:12 I'm so happy at least Lizzie understands Wanda and that she knows Wanda isn't a villain just a broken anti hero
Yeah ..!! true
She’s had so many losses and awful things happen to her. Poor Wanda just needs a win.
Wanda is a villain. She held a town hostage and murdered people across the Multiverse because of children that weren't even real. Give me a break.
@@user-ol4io1gp8byou make it sound as if she held the town hostage on purpose. Take into account that it was HER story with flaws/mistakes she made when she finally had the life she wanted, she didn’t ask for the hex, she subconsciously created it and went along with it. She let the people go once she found out she wasn’t actually keeping them safe but was mentally draining and torturing them
@@user-ol4io1gp8bshe was corrupted by the darkhold. Sure that still doesn’t justify her actions but a proper redemption arc is all she needs. People still called loki an anti-hero because he wasn’t truly evil and guess what? He got a redemption arc, probably one of the best ones, and the same can be said for Wanda. Yall are so quick to judge and just ignore small details on characters. I love how the Multiverse of Madness section confirms that Marvel is nowhere near as consistent and carefully planned as Kevin Feige would like us to think.
The fact that Wandavision was so incredible really made Multiverse of Madness such a let down.
He tries he’s stretched a bit thin
@@writerchick94 i thought it was dope
@@madnessarcade7447It was fun to see Wanda let loose, but I hope they continue with WandaVision's growth next time we see her. Unfortunately a lot of MoM actions can be attributed to the Darkhold... Wanda in WV was basically her resent and grief overpowering her, so it was more interesting.
It also proves that he's tackling too much characters nowadays.
her laughing at the "You Vision, are the piece of the minestrone that lives within me. You are my sadness and my hope, but mostly you're my love." while she had us in shambles and tears
The way she talks about her sisters in the very first clip brought tears to my eyes you can see how much she look up to them as an actress and as their baby sister and truly loves them !!

Thank you for being honest for the lack of cohesive writing for Multiverse of Madness. In WandaVision Wanda was at peace with the loss of her “children” and Vision. Only for them to bring that same storyline back in MOM.
Ikr they really messed up all that great Wanda development in WandaVision, tbh it feels like a totally different character in MOM... it was jarring seeing the disconnect
Marvel lost a lot of goodwill with that massive screw up
Darkhold changed her
i don't think she was at peace with the death of her children, i'm not a parent but like if a loving parent really loves their children, then they won't get over their deaths easily. she definitely was at peace with vision, but not with her children yet. i do wish they could've made the storyline better though.

Should have also done Wind River, that movie is a masterpiece.
We unfortunately had to cut it for time.
@@AdamLanceGarcia No worries.
its so underated! no one talks about it😞
@Adam Lance Garcia fair enough because the movie was so immersive and understated and any highlights might've overly revealed story. Even quiet moments were intense. You'd just have procedural. Or trailer moments. It's not easy. Seen it?
yeah, devastating movie, but she's really great in it. (and jeremy too)
It sounds like she saying in a very diplomatic way that she's a little cheesed off that everything in Wandavision was undone in Multiverse of Madness.
It wasn't undone, in my opinion. WandaVision is my favorite show of all time, and Multiverse of Madness made that show even better for me.
@Woah I mean if they focused on how the book influenced Wanda to do these things and not her, it will make the movie better. But they didn’t at all.
@@Hash_kwhmm but there were small moments probably made by her own which focuses on such points directors should have listened to her
@@Hash_kw that's the whole plot of MoM though, the Darkhold is discussed in the first Scarlet Witch and Dr Strange scene. The tips of her fingers are turning black just like Agathas were in Wandavision. Seemed really obvious to me.
@Woah I don´t think they rendered all her development pointless I think the movie complemented the series well, I don´t think she found peace at the end of WV I think she just realized how many people she was hurting in the process and that´s why she stopped. But it made sense for her to find other ways to complete her dream of having a family and not feel so lonely hence the multiverse. But I do admit the movie could have been better. I love Wanda doe
i still cant bellieve they dont watched wandavision when recording Multiverse of Maddnes , basically for that reason the script of the movie was criticized the most
They didn’t really need to watch WandaVision if they were cooperating with WV’s head writer which they were.
@@lpassione true
@@lpassioneyeah but Wanda had basically the same narrative arc. I enjoyed the movie a lot, but it does feel a little repetitive
@@lpassione after what we saw in M.o.M actually they did needed to see wv since they did not cooperate well with the wv headwriter so well lol
@@lpassione Turns out they didn't cooperate that well. The director of WandaVision knew that people were so angry at how Wanda's arc was treated in Doctor Strange 2.
Glad she acknowledges the fact that in Madness it basically eliminated all the growth she had on Wandavision. When you've got multiple stories going on at the same time, being written by different people, it happens. I was still able to enjoy Madness though.
It makes sense
"Ingrid Goes West" is so incredibly underrated, and it accurately depicts the negatives of social media in this entertaining cautionary tale. I hope more folks check out that movie.
I love Ingrid Goes West so much! It's the best film about social media ever made, in my opinion. Elizabeth Olsen and Aubrey Plaza are absolutely hilarious in the film as well.
It's such a great movie!

I love seeing actors watch their performances!! Absolutely adore Elizabeth!! 😭😭
Trust me they absolutely hate it.
i always find myself being surprised at her actual personality. she can portray such sorrow on screen, you picture her like the mysterious type, but she is actually lovely and cheerful♥️
I grew up watching Full House with Mary-Kate and Ashley, and now that we’re in the Elizabeth golden era I couldn’t be happier. She’s brilliant!
I love how dedicated Elizabeth is to truly understanding and being each character, no matter how silly or embarrassing she thinks the scenes or the lines are
i became a huge Elizabeth Olsen fan after Wanda Vision and love her performance in Love & Death...she's so captivating in her roles. She's currently one of the actresses which sells a movie/series for me.
Same for me. She is insanely versatile. I am convinced at this point that she can play any kind of role and nail it.
She is one of the greats. Her performance in Love & Death is definitely Emmy-worthy. She's fantastic.
The emmys messed up big time this year. Lot's of snubs and undeserved nominations. Golden Globes on the other hand nailed the nominations. Elizabeth Olsen has been nominated for a Golden Globe for her performance in Love & Death. Loved the other nominations as well. Well deserved!
i love her personality and the way she approaches her acting
i love how she addresses that wanda’s arc in multiverse of madness was the same thing as wandavision over again😭 at least she tried her best to make it as fresh as possible and that may be the reason it’s still fun to watch.
Despite Lizzie not really resembling the real Candy Montgomery, she still portrays her well, and I can't wait to see how Candy changes over the course of the remaining episodes.
I sat down to watch it...planned on binge watching all of it...there was only 4 episodes 😡 lol
On this point- I actually think Jessica Biel's version, where she has the perm, was EXTREMELY distracting- like it totally became the center of focus because of how awkward and out of place it looked. I don't think you need to look exactly like a character to convey the essence/deliver a storyline.

I never really realized how fast Elizabeth Olsen blinks her eyes
I noticed that too. But she only does it during interviews and not when she’s acting. Probably a nervous tic.
@@MM-ud1xf yep, she has pretty bad social anxiety
I love that she's struggling through empathy and understanding many of her characters. Most actors just make it sound naturally easy to accept many f*cked up things their characters did just because or justified it, especially when it's based on real life.
she's such an incredible woman, i really love her, she's my comfort human
Still cannot believe Vision hasn't told Wanda there is a "white Vision" with all of his memories wandering around if she wanted to rebuild her life
If you know the comics, you'd see how that won't exactly go well.
White Vision is just a stranger with the other Vision's memories.
@@daltonmeadesmith even so I think it's a major point to be mentioned with her as she might bump into him anytime in the future without a single clue
@raphaelfp Yeah, I guess it's odd that Vision didn't mention it. White Vision is getting his own series, so they have a plan for that character.
Such an underrated actress. Happy to see all the love she's been getting recently
Watching WandaVision and then watch Multiverse of Madness, as a MCU fan since the beginning I just can't comprehend how they can make Wanda evil all of a sudden, even with the Darkhold and her obsession to be reunited with her children. This is why I was disappointed with MoM despite the fact that it's actually not a bad movie.
Also Chthon wrote the Darkhold and he is Wanda's arch nemesis so they should have shown Wanda fighting his influence and overcoming him, as that sets up their eventual confrontation.
Lizzie is just a lovely person, sincere, down to Earth and humble. I love her voice and the way she can express herself, definately a celebrity worthy of fame, worked hard to get to where she currently is, and deserves every bit of the recognition she gets. Such an amazing actress, a true icon and a model to follow.
i love how her brain works coming into a character, she’s brilliant and a wise actress
I love Lizzie so much. I could listen to her all day. Her laugh is infectious. ❤
I'm watching Love & Death now and I am absolutely blown away by her performance.
What I LOVE about marvel is that portrayed Wanda and Scarlet witch as Wanda’s alter ego.. Wanda is the nicer version and Scarlet witch is this evil being trying to get what she wants, even though they both play out in ever roll of her, yet we still haven’t seen the last of both, I do think Scarlet witch will be back, truely amazing ❤
I just love how honest she was 🩷
Aubrey Plaza is really special. In high school she would go to different sporting events dressed as a made-up mascot for her school. Biggest track meet in Northern Delaware (Counties), some girl runs out rallying the crowd. We were getting ready for our races and were happy but confused. 20 years later you find out it was Aubrey Plaza and everything makes sense.
We need a Aubrey Plaza in our life. Life would be more interesting then.
What Olsen says about the Instagram "culture" makes me like her even more.

Can’t think of anything more fitting than the Scarlet Witch herself talking about creating and controlling her own version of reality ❤
Ms. Olsen is a fantastic actress. I first saw her in 'Martha Marcy May Marlene', and was very impressed with her talent. 'Wind River' is another film I think she did proud. I'm looking forward to 'Love and Death' - I'm interested in seeing how she portrays this woman. I look forward to watching Olsen's career expand, and to see what roles she takes.
OMG MOM, PLEASE COME BACK AS WANDA! WE ARE LIVING FOR HER! 🤧❤
I love her so much, I need to start watching her whole discography. It's nice to hear that she doesn't get too into her roles, sounds really healthy especially in this industry where it can be really tough and grueling, in my opinion. I wonder if she realizes how iconic and meaningful her MCU character is for people, like me! Forever my Wanda/Scarlet Witch!
I watch Martha Marcy May Marlene every year! It is so underated!
Thank you, Elizabeth for speaking about how they redid your exact same arc in Wandavision! So many clowns refused to see this when MOM came out.

2 years later and I still love Elizabeth Olsen so much as this character Recently she confessed the filmmakers of multiverse of madness didn’t finish WandaVision Hence the 33 rewrites So the character development feels repetitive but it’s cool still the show lead to this movie showing how much she was willing to go for her children
I love how they gave her 30ish seconds to talk about MoM “Yes we have to acknowledge you were in this garbage movie. But you don’t have to pretend you enjoyed being in it for too long”
Yep you can just tell under her sarcasm and laughing it off that she’s utterly done and no longer cares.
She should teach a Masterclass in acting

Sorry For Your Loss is one of my favorites. I cried soooo much. I fell in love with Elizabeth Olsen after watching that show. 🧡
I love her take on social media/influencers.
The fact that the writers for the multiverse of madness have not seen wandavision before putting the script together…. That explains a lot

Elizabeth Olsen is phenomenal in WandaVision & Love & Death!
She was insane in love and death: definitely deserves an Emmy
I knew it! The people who wrote Multiverse of Madness hadn’t even seen the show. The Wanda in MoM was so different that it didn’t even seem like the same character.

Since he realized about that fact when they were three-quarters of the way through the script writing process. 5:20 I also think Elizabeth, should have won that Emmy for her role in Love & Death, since she deserved recognition for her performance as Candy Montgomery. What I liked about her performance on this series, was the remarkable emotions that Elizabeth brings to Candy, and how she unpacks the motivations of an infamous criminal that has baffled the public for years.
Wandavision’s One of my favorite series in the MCU
Wanda - Thanks for letting me be your mom. Billy and Tommy- thanks for destroying the multiverse for us even though we are imaginary
The writers really messed it up. The story could have been a lot better altho Olsen was brilliant nevertheless. Glad that she acknowledged the flaws in the MoM writers.
