  • Amusing part about this is the sheer plot armour non-powered people have, if you started cracking down on people with superhuman abilities all you would have done is make non-powered people targets, these worlds always rely on people following the rules over say homelander actually glassing a city for example, just one or two of them could cause catastrophic damage to a city or wipe one off the map... yet they always seem to go we can be as cartoony evil as possible and you have to take it...

    • Not to mention that the world is a large place with many societies and sub-societies. Sure, many countries may choose to suppress supers, but if even one country instead chooses to embrace, train, and make good use of them, that one country will come to dominate all the others. It's the same reason technological developments pretty much never go unused... there's always some society willing to take the risks.

  • This seems like just another "Don't trust the people with Powers" movie. Which always has the plot where Military, Government or an Evil Genius takes advantage of the essence. ie: X-Men, HEROES, Mutant X. I wish someone make a movie or TV show where people appreciate those with Special Powers.

  • It’s a decent movie…nothing really spectacular, but the script and acting isn’t horrible. There’s a Pt.2 that recently came out that I haven’t seen yet. 9:31 So this recap actually covers both movies…Code 8 Part 1 and Part 2. The first movie ends with Connor turning himself in to the police. Also, the main actor, Robbie Amell, is in another movie called Simulant that was decent too. I believe all three movies are on Netflix right now.

  • When I see movies like this? Why can't the mutants that are surpassed by technology, just?? Use the tech? It's hightech, surely it can be modified so it can be used to amplify their powers or give them an edge at the frontline, defense?
