  • Question, my son is four and I bought him a electric dirt bike to get the concept and he got it. For Christmas was gonna get a PW50…do you suggest just not wasting the money and going ahead and getting a real 50cc bike and lowering it? Or still the PW to really learn on.

    • If he is only four I would suggest a pw50 they are great learner bikes and they hood value you can easily sell it. We still have a pw cause he will race it for another year or two

  • Think this is too much for a kid riding in woods? PW not cutting it for woods riding as its too low to the ground... My daughter just turned 6 and she pretty tall so the PW looks small for her. Not sure what our next step is.

    • I went with the husky/ktm because you can lower them down to the mini size so it would fit my son better, then next year or when he gets taller I’ll take the lowering kit out and it will be the same bike but taller. They do require some maintenance though, we went and rode the others day on some trails and it was so much better than his pw50. Hope this helps!

  • Hey mate, that’s cool what clutch setting did you put this on standard or turned it down. My daughter has also just come of a pw50 she is 7 and finding it difficult to control the throttle. Any tips. Thanks

    • I left mine stock I believe it’s at 9 clicks you go down a couple clicks on the clutch that might help, we had similar problem but for him the more he rode it the better he got. Hope that helped man

  • Great video! This really pumped my son up to ride his TC50. Question though... how do you lower it? I always have to help him go.

    • There is a lowering kit you can buy, there is a rod in the forks that lowers them and a piece for rear shock that lets it sit down further. I had the dealer install it, they had the kit but you can buy one online and do it yourself if you have the tools. Go to AOMC.MX.com they have them in stock
