The Best part of the Smoky Mountains! The Elk!!!

Between Maggie Valley and Cherokee, NC you can drive the Blue Ridge Parkway and see Elk up close and personal.
These Elk were probably 4-6 feet away from our car, it was such an amazing experience to see as a family!
If you ever get the chance it is well worth it to add a few minutes to your trip to take the Blue Ridge Parkway to your destination to see the Elk.
