  • ready or not maps aren’t hard to clear once you’ve played them through at least once or just have experience with the game but what is hard is getting a good game and doing a play through that feels really good. but when you get that run through that’s just super clean it’s an amazing feeling

  • Absolutely outstanding video as always. I love the sheer level of immersion. One thing I do have to note that was bugging me just a tad was at 29:00. There, you were staring right at the explosive. One saying I was told is that if you can see the explosive, it can also see you, meaning it can send any sort of shrapnel your way. In this case, a piece of the door bar could have sheered off and hit your face. I am aware that in this game it is most likely impossible, but it is more so helping with the immersion. That is all I have to say. Keep up the Ready or Not content, and your content in general. Love you guys

After seeing the trailer for Ready or Not, I found your videos and I was really getting pumped about watching them. Can't wait to see more of your videos and probably watch your previous videos.   • GLID, I want to share a little trick about the field of view in the red dot sight in Ready or Not. Try turning ADS Zoom off in the graphics settings, you will see more space inside any red dot sight. Just compare the option with ADS Zoom on and off, as follows, go to the shooting range with current settings, aim with any reflex sight at a distant target and remember how much space it takes up inside the sight, then turn off ADS Zoom and see how much space it now takes up . The difference is significant. If the red crosshair marker looks small without ADS Zoom, switch the FOV setting to 80 and you will have the same crosshair and reticle size as before the change, but you will see much more space inside the scope than before. If the crosshair marker doesn't seem sharp enough, you can increase the Resolution Scale, but this is only worth doing if you have a lot of frames per second in the game.

  • These RP commentary makes strong content. Love this idea since SWAT4, not just casual "spray bullets" gameplay, but serious thinking tactics. Also would be nice for developers to add more features like wound suspects in limbs instead of killing them, or chance of failure to stun guys in armour vests, or heavy armored suspects. I've been waiting a game like that for a long time.

  • Even tho I am not in the military, but military runs in my family. My grandfather, his two brothers were in WWII, one died and the other 2 came back home. Then my cousin on my dad's side joined the CAF or Canadian Armed Forces. I wanted to join too but I couldn't cause I wear hearing aids. So a few years ago I bought ARMA 3, I loved the ability to either be a Navy SEAL or JTF2. I also downloaded missions that were hostage rescue, bomb defusal, vips, hvts, hvis. Over the years I played ARMA 3, I learned that what makes a team is Communication, Reliabilty, Trust, Honor and always watch each others' sixes. Cause you never know what is hiding behind the door, or under the bed or if the threat is also a civilian in disguise. And a few months ago I bought Ready Or Not, which blew me away, whenever I play tactical shooters like this or SWAT 4. One thing I learned over the past however many years is to never rush into a room. I love the ability to use the opti-wand or have my AI teammates do it. Also when we come up to two adjacent doors that lead into the same room, I have red team stack up on one door and blue team stack up on the other door. Then I hold L Shift to Hold the orders, depending on what's inside the room, suspects, terrorists, hostages, any door traps. Also if you guys want to, go to nexusmods.com to search for Ready Or Not mods, I downloaded a mission called Neptune's Spear, it's amazing.

  • I know it goes a bit against the ethos of the channel but it'd be so interesting to see if you could integrate 1 civi into a squad and run a map after that training and gelling process in the kill house and see how that goes. See if they struggle, see if someone can learn from your experience. I don't say this because I think anyone could do what you do, but it might show how your guys' training prepares you to succeed in these operations compared to a civi. I know I'd be in a body bag after about 5 minutes 😂

  • I'm just a civ, but absolutely love everything military, I want to go into Special Operations in three years when I turn 18 like get a Option 11x contract and go straight into the Army Rangers, anyway this channel is wicked I love seeing real world tactics being implemented into video games I always am playing rainbow six and trying to be as real and tactical as I can be and other fps games. Love the content and keep going awesome job!

    • Well done and remember talking from experience having past the longest and arguably the hardest training one can do bar SAS and SBS selection one tier above Royal Marines Commandos everything you will encounter is in your head. The course is not there to break you it is there to test your will to succeed. If you want it bad enough you will achieve it. NEVER EVER EVER GIVE UP. He always tells me the stories and everything he witnessed as well as his tactical tips and what he knows and did during when he was serving. My younger brother is still serving in the army just ready to deploy as well . but I love the videos u upload and the cooperation in trusting tactical clearing in your gameplays with your other fellow comrades.   • Others have probably already mentioned this. Its really interesting how you apply real life rules to a the game. In real wedging Doors behind you makes sense because actual people can fiddle with those things and fall into your back. But the rules are somewhat different in the game. Once you establish a "safe zone" which has only one way forward you cannot be flanked. Wedges make doors inoperable. So if you start at some point and wedge every door you are not going through you automatically creating a safe zones enemies can't flank you from behind. Of course this works only for maps in which every room only has doors as entrances/exits.

  • Clean work, gentlemen. You secured the hostage, no one took a single bullet, majority of the hostiles were taken alive, and you got a stellar grade to show for it. Glad you guys were able to keep going and operating smoothly, even communications got muddled once or twice during movement or pointman swaps. I do like how you guys were able to quickly dominate the hallways with a 3 man team, able to cover both sides before trouble occurred. Opting to use CS rather than a stinger though caught me off guard, but I welcome it. The liberal use of door wedges is always good to see. If there was anything that could of been done better, it would of been simply locking down communication better, as mentioned before. Otherwise, this mission went smooth as silk.

    • Thank you, Comms in a game done the right way (the way we do it) is extremely hard due to it being a game and you lose all your feeling and peripheral vision. It's that thing in real life where you instantly know who you talking or who is talking to you but in a game it's more cold. If you don't have military training where they drill Comms into you over and over I can see how civvies struggle to play these types of games properly.   • I dont know how realistic it is, but you can use mirror not only below doors. You can also check peaked doors and corners, and if you get lucky you can even check above obstacle. If you just equip your mirror with 5, put in some direction and hold lmb its gonna let you look around from where you just put it. Again i have no idea how people do that irl, but maybe if its gonna fit you can use it. Also that bathroom breach was epic, great vid as always : )

  • Smoothest run I've seen on this game so far. One thing I really appreciate from seeing a few of the ex-military tubers running this compared to others is that even though it's a game people are going out of their way to avoid flagging friendlies while stacking up or on the move.
