Fun fact the flag with the little black white and red sup flag with the iron cross on it wasn't even a nazi flag that was the imperial german war and navy flag used by the north German federation and the German empire and later the Weimar (german) republic from 1866-19122

Hmmmm. Strange thing, I have an old ash tray which was made in an Allied POW camp by a German POW after V-E Day. It's made from a cut-off 155 (?) MM cannon shell, but it has runic designs on it similar to the ones on the outside of that box. I have to go down to my basement one day and dig it out of the mess down there.

Thanks for your help with this. Judging by the other things we found in this locker, it looks like this was put together by a high schooler or similar aged person. They may have not known themselves what they were writing...lol.
Even though those items not popular they still are worth decent amount to right collector. Believe it or not the market is very good on those kinda items right now.
Especially if previous owner of unit was by chance well known in that circle of beliefs
Perhaps I could have made some money on this but I honestly couldn't bring myself to sell it so it all went into the trash. This is the kind of thing that gets you banned on eBay. The other videos on this locker show sports items that I was able to sell at a nice profit.

@@certifiedloser2112 I didn't try to sell this stuff because it wasn't war era. They were all pretty new.

A lot of people collect some Nazi items because they like to learn about the world's former enemy.Like soldiers taking the weapons of the defeated enemy.If you don't learn from the past you are doomed to repeat it.
The symbols on the outside look like Norse runes to me (often used by white supremacists and similar). The last 4 symbols look like they spell "none" and the 5 to the right of the lock look like "death".

No problem, I recognised some of the runes and spent ages trying to translate it (before even watching the video!). It's frustrating as it just doesn't seem to make sense (not that I expect the writings of the owner of a chest like that to make sense) even with the alphabet from 5:18 it seems to say: "DLP HAIL POWER DEATH IS WAGER NONE"
Ben Willis also, I feel like a kid wrote this. There were a lot of drawings and things that look like a kid would make.

Well, I did sell the hockey cards but tossed the nazi flag. It wasn't old anyway.

That would make sense as a lot of the stuff I found in this locker was German related.
You hit a Neo-Nazi fun box of crap the only flag that might to have been real was the Imperial German one could tell better if I could look at the Halyard.
All of the flags were made of nylon so they were not old. Too bad though as they may have been worth some money then.

That could be true. I'm not too familiar with this though. It would kind of make sense from the other items I pulled out of this locker.
Probably spells out some sort of protection 'spell' or something . Maybe a curse too ,never know. Wouldnt surprise me
