Making a Custom Optimus Prime Helmet from Transformers

FREE TEMPLATE AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS DESCRIPTION.
Lets mix some nostalgia with creativity and come up with something awesome. In this video I show you how to make an Optimus Prime Helmet from Transformers. I used 24 mm, 10 mm, 4 mm & 2 mm EVA, shear material, contact cement, super glue, Plasti Dip, spray paint and some wax/acrylic paints. You may also need the following tools:heat gun, a Dremel with various bits, wood burner and xacto knife or box cutter.   • Oddly enough, I was searching for a cyberpunk Corinthian style helmet and came across this video. I can't like it enough. The nostalgia was high while watching, made me put my copy of the '80s movie on while planning my helmet. I didn't know Ratchet was named for Ratched, that's an interesting piece of trivia.

  • This looks pretty close to the rebreather helmets in Mass Effect.

    • You may be able to make some mods to get there. It's a lot more boxy compared to the Rebreather.

    • I can add it to my list of builds. The transformer builds are pretty intricate, so they take a while. Can't make any promises but it would be a cool build.

    • Um cosplay de corpo inteiro para um Transformer é uma tarefa difícil. Não sei se realmente tenho tempo ou espaço. Mas eu sei que meu amigo Odin Makes aqui no KZhead fez um traje Gundam cujo padrão provavelmente você poderia modificar.

    • @@MeltyZombie no problem. For future phone lookups, go to you phone app store and download a PDF reader. A lot of phones don't have pdf readers by default

    • @@MuchProps I just use a website based PDF to PNG converter, it's real handy, but on another note, if you were to make an Ion cannon, I think it would be rather popular, but you'd probably want to make it wieldable by people, but thanks for the heads up
