Kate Middleton Smiles With Her 3 Kids In First Official Photo Since Surgery

Princess Kate Middleton appeared in a new photo with her three kids to mark Mother's Day in the U.K. In the photo, Kate is seen sitting in a chair as her kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis smile around her. "Thank you for your kind wishes and continued support over the last two months. Wishing everyone a happy Mother's Day. C," the caption read. A spokesperson for Kensington Palace said the photo was taken by Prince William in Windsor earlier this week. This marks the first official photo the public has seen of Kate since she underwent abdominal surgery in January. Following the photo's release, Princess of Wales issued an apology after major news agencies pulled the image from publication amid concerns it had been manipulated. "Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing. I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused. I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother’s Day," her statement read.

  • I can think that this must be a stressfull time for especially the princess of Wales, but she is such a levelheaded human being, that I am sure she realises that people will always speculate.   • If you zoom in on Kate’s hair, on her right side, the picture of the hair is faded, you can tell it’s doctored. Compare the hair on her left to the hair on her right and you’ll spot the difference. One look at this picture I could immediately tell something was off

  • I might have got this entirely wrong, but maybe Catherine photoshopped that picture of herself for a very good reason for which she can't say anything about.,.... as she might have been looking not so well. As its was mother's day as well plus the baying for an appearance by the media, it maybe killed two birds with one stone. . For the sake of her kids looking back at that precious photo of that difficult time, I would have done exactly the same for childrens sake, and they could as adults look back at a terrific photo of healthy shining mum on mother's day. . Shame it didn't work out that way.

    • If the background of this photo was changed or the photo was touched up in spots, so what if it was? Smartphones have all sorts of features to do such things. A pretty, green outdoor setting looks better than an end of winter or indoor one. If the photo was altered, I don't consider that a lie.
