To answer your question about what are important leadership qualities: I think if leaders approcah the position of leadership to be fundamentally a position of service to those around them (for the sake of Allah), then society would improve drastically for the better (insha'Allah), in all of the societal dimensions.

Management, being visionary, good at deduction, articulation, story telling, find the best action, being able to identify trivial matter and focus on the real ones

23:60-61 who always give with hearts that tremble at the thought that they must return to Him.... They are the sabiqun/the frontrunners, the champions. Because when they give of whatever they give they don't expect anything in return except from Allah. And they so seal their sadaqa. A lot of people they erase their own sadaqa by for example "look how he treats me and I helped him out so often, is this the thanks I deserve" Such people don't give with their hearts trembling out of fear of Allah not being sure He will accept it.. Now that's a quality of a champion!
