What most predator fans want is a massive open world single player with story, campaign and side missions sort of game where you are the predator and sure can play as humans and maybe even aliens with their own stories and missions.
So, Predator Concrete Jungle?
@@cedricgabionza That's the old PS1 game right? I wouldn't call that open world, it seems linear and you're in a city setting the whole time. I'm saying, you know some big open world maps like idk, Ghost Recon Wildlands, Horizon Zero Dawn and Witcher 3 type of map with various biomes with some modern towns and perhaps a few populated cities. All that with good predator customization, weapons, gear and mechanics and various creatures, animals, humans and other potential powerful enemies to hunt all with a good campaign story with many side quests. That's my vision for an open world Predator game.

@@ManaAddict47 Yeah, well you're in the minority with that opinion. It depends on the setting of the game as well. Linear type of games are fun sure, if they are like Crash Bandicoot or Ratchet and Clank. Hell, I even prefer that Dark Souls stay a more linear game. Probably part of the reason I don't care much for Elden Ring. It's not the right game for open world. The setting and intricacies of the game will determine if open world or not would be a good fit. In an AVP sort of game, open world and being free to explore I feel would be more fitting given as a Predator, you're a hunter. It's more enticing to hunt things over vast areas. And the good thing about open world games and campaign missions is, there are still linear aspects within them.
im a predator fan, but i would rather see it as a single player based on the first movie and controlling the team like you do in ghost recon/tom clancy etc with 3rd person view. same about a sequel to the 2nd movie. add a multiplayer and either be co-op or like hunting grounds, but still based around the film. usually you get films based on games made, but for a change it would be nice if it was the other way round.
I wish they actually made a campaign with having Arnold Schwarzenegger return as Dutch. That would’ve made it much more attractive to larger audience.

if you listen to the tapes, there are pickups in some of the matches if you can find and exfil with them, there are ones for OWLF and if you got Dutch 2025 or Isabelle then you get all their tapes too.. really good to listen to and that is essentially the story which really lends a bit to the lore.. has Busey's kid voicing the boss of OWLF and for Dutch its really Arnold doin those tapes (lots of swearing too) and again for Isabelle they got the actor for her to do the recordings too.. really shows what this game could have been though .. still waiting for them to include a game mode where you fight waves of xenomorphs or something, or idk anything since it feels like its been a while since they added anything
Definitely would love to see a solo or single player style dlc like Friday the 13th but with more optional objectives would be cool

FOR A WHOLE YEAR... oh look that game everyone destroyed on youtube is now on steam... what $60 ?! ok yea not getting that... extremely sad and totally avoidable not to mention that the Jungle Hunter pre order bonus after 2 or 3 years you'd think they would just gift it to everyone or have it as DLC...

Hey BTL glad to see I play this again. That’s crazy I just started laying again this year since 2021 and I did not wait 47 min to play a few matches . It took me 7 min
The main problem I have is that it isn’t fun to play as the predator it’s way too easy to die and it’s way too hard to hunt the team
Yeah, also there isn't really any punishment to hunt the hunter, nothing wrong with that but when you can just ignore the missions to kill the predator it is frustrating to be constantly perused to the point where you can't do anymore but run
Maybe if they made it more enticing to complete the mission or even a time limit to complete it that would force the fireteam to actually focus on the mission and allow the predator to have a breather

Kinda hope soon the devs adds in the Feral Predator from Prey with new weapons (like the shield) along with Naru as the new playable human character (tho it probably wouldn’t make sense considering she’s from a tribe, not a special op team).
I agree, hopefully they'll also add TRACKER Predator, and FUGITIVE Predator along with feral as a DLC, they need to also stop being lazy and give them their own unique movie ROAR🔥🍖🔥
@@virusworld3730 by fugitive, do you mean the one from THE Predator that got destroyed by the CGI monstrosity? if so they do have that, its DLC im pretty sure BL has it on his vids, same with Feral but it's just the mask "ghost" for now looks ok on Alpha Predator, as for Tracker again I think they loosely have a mask that looks like his but without the tusks, but it could just be the mask that is on Dutch 2025 shoulder too.
Yep I was really hoping next gen update patch after feral. I doubt unlikely…but consider Naru is long dead over 306 years in 2025. maybe naru’s descendants playable character

I’m still really enjoying this game. I couldn’t believe how quickly I got matches a few days ago. No bots. Been playing this on and off since day 1.
I was honestly hoping they would have brought into the game was The hunting party like the movie predator in the predator preserve, or they would have added a mini game to where there would be for example the ruins, if you were to destroy a wall a facehugger would come out and it would attach to a body because of alien versus predator in the ruins it would have been nice to see an update like that to have some kind of mini games or a whole other arena with different aspects of the game in it but everything still the same to certain stipulations

I really want maps from Predator 2, have the fire team run missions in the city streets, the A.I. could be mercenaries, drug lords, etc. Shoot, maybe even save hostages/ civilians, being that the crime rate is high in the movie lore. Of course the PRED player in the midst of all of this. Have Danny Glover and his deputy be a fire team character/s for DLC, just like what they did Dutch. I honestly think it's a missed opportunity. So much potential and even more ideas that they could've added to this game. I love Predator Hunting Grounds, but there could've been MORE...
I think one of its biggest issues is how predator and hunter are separate ques. This isn’t dbd, people prefer predator over the human shooter. So obviously there was gonna be a longer que for predator then human. This is made worse since it’s a 1 vs 4 game, so there is definitely not gonna be enough human players for all the predators. The cherry on top of this design flaw is that they added a ton of cool predators (as they should), but only added 4 human characters. Two of them are the same character (just the movie version and an older version) and one is a celebrity cameo. So really they only added two characters across 7 movies. They should have tools the Friday the 13th approach and made the predator a random selection out of a party of 5 instead of the DBD approach by making it a separate que.
I actually bought the game 3 weeks ago on PSN because of your videos.. longest I’ve waited is 10 min 🤷🏽♂️ maybe it’s a region thing but it’s pretty fast out here.. fireteam waits are always less then a minute

Actually had an interesting experience with meeting a developer for the company didn't work directly on predator hunting grounds however he did mention that they didn't really have any plans for the game and moving forward with it Believe me when I found out he was working with the same studio I gave him an earful of ideas on what would really make predator hunting grounds with possible content that could be added. What he told me was a little disappointing I think he stopped me in the middle of me giving an are full of ideas just to make sure I don't get my hopes up but apparently they are planning on some lighting the game they have other projects that they want to focus on and predator hunting grounds isn't one of them. Now I'm not sure how accurate this is however a lot of what he said does make sense with what we are seeing with the lack of content like a bug fixes etc. It really truly is a shame cuz this is a wonderful game that could have been so much more

@@Mrhandyhitman because A) It's not profitable. Games like this thrive off active communities and microtransactions, and there are nowhere near enough players to cater to those. B) The game has been out for several years now, and most developers have moved on to newer projects And C) The game didn't sell well enough in the first place.
one of my most played games about a year or so ago on ps4. for what it is i really like it, but its been quite a few months since i played it as i got rid of the console, so have no idea about updates and player base. i know have a ps5 as of a few weeks ago and sadly this game is locked and forcing me to buy it. unsure about that, but its nice to see people do still play it.
Wat I just played couple games these days. Maximum waiting time is like 5-6 min. Usually its 1 or 2 min if u choose fireteam. I just started playing the game a month ago ^^
Same thing happened to Evolve 2. Another 1v4 game which was enjoyable to play, but didn't have the players to keep running.

Please play this game more I found you’re channel last month because of this game I just started playing it and you’re content came up on it last month, I noticed that you only played it in 2021 and 2022 I keep hoping I’d run into you mid game to test my skills
A big problem with this game is the lack of modes. Why only 1 predator vs 4 humans. Use the various films and comics as inspiration and let more people play as the predator on a team of 3 vs 9 humans or something. A way to increase the player count and reduce wait times. If given the option to play as a predator most people want to play as a predator. So offer more game modes with that ability. Hell I’ll take a 2 v 2 or something where everyone is a predator. There’s so much that could’ve been done but it was reduced to a simple asymmetrical game with serious technical issues. If this can’t be done right at least give us a single player mode where we hunt various alien species idk. The series has so much potential and I hate seeing it go to waste!

Def worth the buy if your a fan of the series. Needs work yes but if you wanna be honest no game is like this and it’s cool what we do have. Here’s hoping for more dlc content. We need new maps, weapons and gear. New collectibles and trophies too.
I loved this games and always played it with friends. I leveled up a lot of guns to level 10 but after a month of playing the game nothing new was added so we stopped playing. I played a couple rounds today and it was fun but it is just doing the same thing over and over.
I really wished they made the bots a lot better in the private match they don't do any of the mission they just follow the predator and try and kill them. It just feels really repetitive, you kill them or they kill you, they don't escape, they don't try to defuse the bomb because the game just ends nor do they retrieve the predators body. Also how come they didn't add a predator bot, I know it's hard to get bots to work in game right but we're the game is heading it's going to need it. I'm going to miss those old times 😂❤
They should make an extraction shooter/looter where you can be a squad of humans (3, 4 players) or a solo predator and the A.I. is alien bots.
i would love to see predator missions where the pred has to collect stolen tech from humans then end the game with a nuclear detonation and extraction. another thing, 2 solo campaigns would also be cool, a firearm campaign and predator campaign.
I am really hoping for the next new update having a new map, new characters, new kill animations, new animals, new enemies, and finally the new feral predator with his new weapons and new animal fighting and killing animations and different and newer sound effects well... sort of, but I hope that will happen.

Still haven't played this yet, even though I got it for free from PS Plus. I'm not big into anything multiplayer these days as it becomes such a huge time sink for me. Had the devs added a single player campaign this would've been a much more interesting game for me. It's the whole reason I didn't care for the Friday the 13th game when it dropped. I honestly would've been happy even with a 4 hour campaign for a game like that.

I've bought this game with my friend day one, we were both excited and extremely pleased with the outcome, and our biggest concern was the balancing of humans and the predator, and the developers have actually nailed it in that aspect. Anyway, the problem from the beginning was the extreme lack of conent, since day one most people just wanted to play as the predator, so in order to have an actual playerbase you need people that are willing to play as humans, like me and my friend, problem is, that it became boring extremely fast, cause humans dont have much going on for them, few guns, and half of them pointless, crappy customization, etc. Even if you prefer playing as humans theres nothing in here to hold you on. instead of the developers focusing on adding better customization, more guns that feel different, another map maybe, they did almost nothing, and what they added on was just some predator related stuff, the one thing in this game that didn't really have the need of any additions. Last time i checked this game was about a year ago, and as i see its still at the same place and it wont go anywhere... what a pity.

I think the challenge was maybe Australia region having very low players, making it nearly impossible to find matches quickly
@@BloodThirstyLord hmm.. yesterday it ranged from 3 to 7 minutes for the Predator. 50 secs without pref. Same for FT. It's probably the region. In Europe we generally play against America or Europeans. Please tell me kindly - I have all the cinematic versions of predators but seem to lean to wolf most (impenetrable 6, height advantage 5, more energy reserves 4, bow plasma pistol or/and combi stick. Do you think you can come up with a stronger loadout? Or bionic height advantage, modified reserve and protection? I also know that bionic loves medic and large pouch but then no inf camo and vision - they nerfed it and you need faster energy cooldown perk to have so. Lovely to talk with you, please carry on with the pred. Watching your clips and hope to see you in the game ;)

My brother just got me this game on steam. I enjoy it immensely. I enjoy it's customizeation of both player predators and the fireteam members. I enjoy the fact the Predator cannot just steam roll the entire fireteam, forcing it to use strategy and cunning. I enjoy as a fireteam member the Predator will have me shooting out into the jungle in a pannic (just like in the movie). It ain't too deep but just like it's movie counterparts the deeper you go with the Predator lore the more you demystify the Predator turning it into a bad joke.
Bro if they did a farcry style open world predator game they would literally get everyones money

hello is the game working smoothly in low end pcs?
Iv been playing like crazy the last few days takes like 4 minutes to find a match but I do and I hardly ever have bots lots of ps players
i pre purchased the game and never ever did receive the perks they promised like the 87 skin ... the airport hangars and planes are new so not sure when they added those and if its a seperate map or just updated an existing one... i stopped playing a few months in as they just nerfed the pred to death while buffing the fireteam over and over again... had such high hopes for this game.. really thought by now theyd add a city map... the dutch dlc was cool to listen to the tapes... not sure what else theyve added since then... just not sure i am ready to re install it.

They could do so much more with these games. The state of game development is really sad to me nowadays for all games. There just isn't creativity enginuity or thinking outside the box. They should have made it a first person game it just seems like they rushed a title that would sell like crazy if made right. Imagine a parkour based game like dying light where your the predator with unmatched skill and abilities and there's actually some kind of incentive to not be on the ground like being seen by people causes the military to come etc.

Pretty much.. everyone just uses hand held/ shoulder cannon and heavy axe.. all cheap cheese with no honour or skill. Gets boring dealing with the same gutless trash every match.

Whaaat?! I got a notification in the first 30 seconds of posting?! Edit: Sadly, whatever playerbase is left that you can match with is just dry. The trash talkers, the competitive players, the scrubs all gone. Hardly an online experience at this point. Hard to justify playing when even people you queue with are obviously forcing themselves to play ya know?
