"If you lift your mouse alot" Flusha's wet dream
lol
Is dmitri flushas long lost brother? "My playstyle revolves around lifting the mouse a lot" - Dmitri 2015
XD
1:03 Dat effect
I don't understand the dislikes. Nothing wrong with this video.
maybe they didint like the mouse?
+Danté might be dislike bots
+CanadianSavage When this video was uploaded it had a 50/25 like dislike ratio. That is why I wondered.
Ayy I see you on Dsg all the time
+Ruskie Or almost 10%, that's on the higher side.
i've had this mouse for about a year now. it works perfectly.Recommend it.
Got this mouse yesterday, and really liked it. Really cool lighting, the buttons feel awesome.
For almost 2 years I've been using this mouse and it still works great and looks brand new. It doesn't have rubber coating or rubber side grips so there aren't any visual wear on a mouse.
Considering the lift of distance(LOD) and CPI steps - the sensor is a modification of a very old Avago ADNS-3050. Hence why you can't adjust the LOD and the sensetivity settings are a multiple of the original values. It also should prove quite jittery compared to the Castor's 2 generations newer PMW3310. If it's not, then we have some firmware trickery implemented that may or may not hinder the perfomance.
Solid review. Still wrapping up my feelings on it, but it's a great little budget mouse.
+EposVox ah i found you here lol
I've been using this for maybe 7 yrs now, still going great!
Yeah me too hahaha
What a great review.... Keep up the good work man ... I love this mouse.
Personally use the Mionix Naos 7000 for CS:GO. I love that it's a palm grip mouse with a ring-finger spot on it. Also an optical sensor and custom LED
I have used the SteelSeries Sensei Raw laser for well over a year now. I totally love it. And just purchased the SS Qck Heavy gaming mouse pad, which is also awesome....SteelSeries makes great peripherals. I found the Sensei Raw on sale at the time for the same price as this offering, but, if I were looking for a budget gaming mouse now, I'd would certainly consider this one.
Magic tape over the sensor, reduces your LOD. Thanks for the video mate
what is magic tape
Cool transparent trick with the hands!
i bought the steelseries sensei raw a few months ago. no rgb, but has permanent feet and a braided cable and raw input. the liftoff distance is half of that of the rival, and the sensei is slightly larger. you dont even need the software to make adjustments, perfect right out of the box. same $40 pricetag.
The lift off distance may also be affected by the surface as I recall from the mousepad guide on LTT.
Try a different mousepad Reflective or shiny pads make for a higher lift-off distance with some sensors. Even mice with an adjustable lift-off can still track very high if the pad is shiny. It's not limited to hard surfaces either, my Roccat Taito mat does this too.
i love the rival 100. had it since late October of 2015, great mouse, good for fps's.
got the rival 300 for $40 at best buy during the sale i love it
Just ordered mine (24th December 2016) and thanks to Amazon it will arrive on Saturday 31st December 2016! , a very big and premium upgrade from my Steelseries Kinzu V3 :)
What separates the Rival 100 from your preferred Zowie? Is it just ergonomics? Can you do a review on the Ninox Aurora? Aurora is $22.50 on Amazon right now, and it uses same sensor as the Zowie EC1 evo, EC2 evo, FK, FK1, AM. However, I hear a lot of complaints about it. Wondering if those complaints are outliers, or if I should just spend $3.50 extra for the SteelSeries Rival 100 which is $26 on Amazon right now.
I just got this mouse a few hours ago, I'm using it at the moment, I have no complaints.
+27 00 still same opinion after 2 months?
yeah babe still same opinion?
is it broken now ?
Razer Taipan 4 Life!!! I had this mouse for about 6 months; it was good at first but the mouse was too long for my palm. My gaming has improved since purchasing the Taipan.
Went from the deathadder 2013 to this and i love it :)
i was going for the deathadder but it's huge for my hands and alot of people saying this mouse is great so in conclusion going for this one :p :D
Deathadder gives double click problems
In your opening shot, you have four mice on display. What is the most right one called? And does have a wired edition?
Had the same high LOD problem with my Rapoo V300 (btw would love you to review it), slapping on a tape on the bottom pretty much solves it.
Could you Kindly tell me which acer desktop monitor are you using. Much appreciated Thanks!
well.. i bought it today (01.01.17) and i'm happy with it :) !
Got this awesome mice! Fantastic!
Love your reviews bro and videos in general! One thing on this one. The lift off is about 2-2.5mm on this mouse, your hard metal mouse pad would cause this to increase. Would you recommend steel series headsets for their price points?
Should I buy this? I play CS / BF and I play with my whole hand at 800 dpi 1.2 sens, will I be able to adjust to the 1000 dpi and will it jitter as I lift my mouse or not?
Real good review!
And I wonder why people dont subscribe to you... You always give such good quality and detailed reviews.
Your sens is crazy high haha what do you use? (dpi and in-game value)
I'm looking for my next mouse . Maybe I'll take this one . Nice video , great job !
+Illegalquantity look into the Rival 310... My current favorite mouse.
Dmitry, have you ever/are you ever going to review the Logitech G602? Although old, it poses as a very attractive wireless gaming mouse against many of the other ones out today, and is usually in discussions for the best wireless gaming mouse.
Thanks for this video! Your bro from Panama :)
So, I wanna buy a mouse. What should I get? Steelseries rival 100, Corsair Katar, Razer Abyssus V2 or Logitech g203 prodigy? I know they have different prices, but I found them in a locol store at the same price.
Please can you add a amazon uk link to future videos please. It would help a lot.
I have the Steelseries Sensei RAW Heat Orange edition (wired). I got it for 35$ from amazon. I gotta say, hands down best mice I've ever used. I even bought one for work, so yes I've got two of them! The grip, feel, clicking, holding the mouse is just right. Although the issue Dmitri explained here about lifting the mice for 1 cm is correct. But hey, not a problem for me anyway but could be for some. It needs to be fixed nevertheless.
I bought two weeks ago such an mouse for myself and am satisfied with it! Compared to the price actually know a lot, convenient, comfortable grip, good material quality! Very precise and accurate mouse game, at least in my opinion. Especially WoT was playing and even Dayz Standalone! But I am not a good player, but this mouse noticeably improved my game! A QCK Mass mouse pad I use it! I hope you will be my partner for a long time!
Need your Opinion G402 or SS rival 100? Which mouse has better tracking ability? Are they kinda same? Gonna gift one of these to a friend... (Or Suggest other than these two)
rival 100 or sensei mlg edition? I like the sensei but the problem is the paint wearing off
Hey guys, i have a question about this mouse since i want to buy it: Is it able to set the LEDs to white? And if it is, does it actually light up white or does it not look good? Thanks.
rival 100 or g402? i mainly play dota and r6 siege and currently im using x-craft twilight that almost dead
okay i have the razer naga and i love the buttons but hate shape. I got the rival 100 and LOVE the shape and 2 buttons on the size. i love this mouse but i would like something with rubber sides and maybe a little quality feel. any ideas
Hello! What would be a good budget mouse WITHOUT lift off distance (LOD), I'm talking about almost none LOD at all. Anyone has any suggestions? =)
i bought it 3 days ago ,, nice mouse i'm use with speed mouse mat. perfect for my hand ,, the old rival is too big for me if your hand suited with old rival this mouse maybe too small for you.
What I like about this mouse is the precise sensor, size and weight.
So I have been thinking about changing mice and I have been using the Logitech g100s for a long time. I was looking for something good that doesn't break your wallet so about 40-60 usd. I have been thinking wether or not to get the rival 100, rival 300, or Logitech g303. And I am a claw-palm grip guy. I'm not sure which one to get ;(
Dam Good Review!
please do a review of the new roccat kova if possible
bro it will be nice if you got your hand on the 1STPLAYER keyboards and review them :) would love to watch you review them
so whats the next best thing, i want something that is low profile like the fk2, but it must have software to change dpi..
yep buying it because of this review
the s3059 is limited to 250CPI steps and works best on 500CPI.This sensor does not have adjustable LOD. The best thing to do is the tape trick for LOD.
How do I do the tape trick?

got g502 the mouse is awesome but i feel its little big for my hands its worth it to get this mouse and change my old one ?
if you have money, then yes.
I wouldn't, it's not very durable, had 2 and they both broke, one lasted 6 months and another 3 days.
Super_Slav i have had my mouse for atleast 2 years no trouble, did you throw the mouse between walls?
I have this mouse, and while it is sometimes uncomfortable and the driver isn't precise with CPI, I still think it's a great mouse. Also I don't pick up my mouse when I play so I'm alright with this
wow mate, please tell me what's that mic ?
Awesome channel keep it up,,,...
might get this
Just got the alchemy gold varient yesterday for 25$ on amazon.in . It is EPIC ! And I don't mind the glossy finish on the gold varient either.
I wonder why everyone buys it on a black color does it have any difference? like I thought on white one it won't scratch and blur on the mouse buttons that's why I have no idea which color to buy
abyssus v2 or rival 100? Fingertip grip, but fingers in claw shape, palm never touch the mouse, medium size hands.
This Is How You Review A Product .. You're one of the few best Tech Reviewer on KZhead .. Man You covered every single experience A PERFECT REVIEW .. There are a thousands of reviewers on KZhead lately and all they do is read out the Specifications.. That is not a review ..This is A Review .. Despite the fact you have a different accent but still the way you talk is easily understandable .. That is also a quality must have for everyone who runs a youtube channel ..
What keyboard were you using when playing cs go?
what mouse would you recommend for MOBAs and MMOs?
What an excellent review that focuses what's important on a mouse for gamers.
I have been using this exact mouse for 3 to 4 years now and i can say that at its price its worth it and is absolutely great! (without the rgb)
Im still using this mouse lmao my only problem is if im playing fn and i scope in on a sniper and shoot when going for a quickscope i get no response and my gun wont shoot
@@jimbobimbo9052 oof, well it depends on how long you have been using it but mine still works great!
@@TheContinuation fair point i bought it the week it came out so ive had a good few years with it ngl
Would this work good with The Qck+ ? i like to play at extremely low sens
Check out the Rival 300! It's one of the best mouses i have used
between rival 100 and logitech G102 which one will be better choice?
When I use a mouse I put my middle finger on the scroll, makes it a-lot easier to get to dpi settings.
Is steel series rival 100 better than Logitech g102 for counter strike 1.6? Please reply friends
I just bought this mouse and I notice that the left click is a bit harder and sometimes in feels mushy to press :b The mouse is still better that the old dell office mouse I use for a while.
Hi @HardwareCanucks! I find that 1 cm liftoff distance hard to believe and at the same time unacceptable for a gaming mouse. I saw this mouse in some e-shops being advertised with "Optimized liftoff distance of 1.5 mm". Other reviewers also mention this around here. I'm thinking it might be because of the optical sensor combined with your aluminum pad. Its surface is not dark and not made of fabric. Also, it looks a bit glossy to me. What do you think?
love my g402
This video helped me a lot. This is the best budget mouse EVER. Right now its on sale for $32.50 on amazon. It's $39.99 on steelseries website, and you get a free qck mousepad. Just got this mouse and I LOVE IT!!!!!!!
Is it worth upgrading my Razer Deathadder 2013 to this?
+HardwareCanucks still curious about your thoughts on the new corsair's katar :)
the lod of the mouse is crazily high too :c i can't use lo sens in cs go because of it, so im back to rival 300
The reason why there isn't smaller cpi increments is because the 3050 doesn't natively support them. It is the right move not going for sw interpolation like razer synapse, etc...
250 increments is actually due to the old 3050 sensor in the mouse.
Could you review the new Roccat Kova?
i personally bought a rival 100 for my dota game and watched this and damn dimitri was right this is worth the price
is the sensor good ? i mean does it feel smooth ! what do you think between this and the 300 ?
GlyNkaBoiii yeah the sensor is smooth but the cpi can only be around 1000-2000 but its worth it ! the rgb is great although I cant seem to get the perfect violet haha , rival 300 I havent tried though I think rival 300 is comfortable considering the shape
Thanks man :D ,, and btw what do you mean by the Cpi can only be around 1000-2000 ??
He means the DPI can only be set from 250 to 4000
It's good to buy a backup 100, I had 2, they don't last.
will this work with my GGING white extended mouse mat ??
i've been seeing a mouse by Steelseries called Steelseries Rival 95 i think it's a budget mouse and newer? can u make video plox. Rival 95 vs Rival 100
I have this mouse and I have used it for years and this mouse is know for how low u can pick up the mouse and have it still not pick up
which keyboard do you use for gaming?
can you make a review of bloody zl5 sniper gaming mouse?
will the MM300 Corsair work well?
There is now rival 110 and it has 7200 cpi so you can get it and replace your current mous
the lift off distance problem wont happen on a soft mouse pad its just because u have a hard mouse pad.
will the tape trick fix the lift off distance of the mouse?
Eso mismo sucede en el logitec G203 el sensor lee la superficie estando distanciado sin tocarla y se mueve el puntero del mouse
I might get this with a steelseries 6gv2
What is the basic value of the CPI? Thank you
Hmm Don't have the lift off distance problem. Mine seems to be at about a milimeter or so. Maybe it's the mousepad?
Ok so when I play I also lift my mouse a lot I realized so is the liftoff that bad or is it fine?
I like the slimmer back half of this mouse. It wasn't even on my radar until I saw it recommended on Amazon. I hate how so many mice have these huge fat asses on the right side of them. It really screws up the primarily fingertip grip I use, though I do use a bit of a hybrid grip as well. They hurt my fingers, especially my pinkie, because it creates uneven pressure on the mouse especially when lifting it. I might try it if the G502 I have on order doesn't work out. That one also has a much slimmer right side compared to the G700s I just tried, which was great except for the right side being too bulky. The weird part is that I actually have rather large hands, 20 cm or about 8 in, and some of these supposedly ergonomic mice still hurt my fingers.
