My favorite so far is number seven, the AirPod clipable light. That provides light for up to 200 pages. Give one of these to your dyslexic friend and it can last them hundreds of hours on one charge...

That laser is VERY unsafe, if you look at the beam it can cause blindness... and since this is a "swinging" type laser beam, you can't protect it to make it safe... look at other types of laser engravers, for your safety, and the safety of your peers...

Any product utilizing lasers should be scrutinized to the fullest extent. People don't realize that lasers are dangerous items and that there are many rules and regulations when it comes to how they're allowed to be used in a product. If you see a consumer product with lasers freely burning stuff in open air you're in for a scam at the very least.
Exactly, came down here for this. Anything with lasers can cause instant blindness if anything goes wrong.
It is an actual product, it works, just like 99.9% of diode lasers on the market..... but the way that machine works makes it much more harmful indeed, a "rotating" or "swinging" laser is not something I would dare to say is safe... too many possibilities for the beam to have its reflection go elsewhere and cause damage... the other machines are straight down and you control the height of the laser and also many of them have a special material covering the laser to make sure you can look at it more safely.

In Japan, you don't need an alarm... you can guard your sit with your wallet and your phone and be there when you return.
Ive heard that about Japan as well. People are still respectful others property and don't mess with or steal it. Unless of course its a prank among friends. Still I would not try leaving a wallet and phone anywhere intentionally. Certainly not in a public place with tourists around. :)

That motion alarm for protecting your laptop makes me laugh. If you are taking a break away from your workplace do you really think that the alarm feature would deter a thief from simply knocking the device to the floor, pick up the laptop and (perhaps) step on the alarm and crush it in a moment of disdain. By the time you get back with your latte after your phone notifies you of your impending bad luck your laptop will be off on an extended trip.

the point is it won't let them get away without drawing attention. its like a car alarm. it wont stop someone from breaking in but it will blow their cover forcing them to give up or commit to being noticed.
