Funny thing is that most of the OG cars were still used by many new players... the comet for example was one of the most used vehicles throughout the GTA History... and now we can't even own them by going through LS custom...
I love the Comet, it was the second car I bought (after the Deveste Eight) and still have it today as a Retro Custom. Kinda missed the normal one so I bought one a few weeks ago and didn't install any upgrades, just a pleasant stock car

That custom jester was one of the few cars that was in story mode and they removed it so not only have they never added anything to story mode they have infact removed stuff.
This is such a dick move by R*. The fact that they removed a lot of the OG/Day One vehicles is extremely disappointing, especially the Infernus considering that car has been around since GTA III. I honestly think that a petition must be made to bring back all of those removed vehicles. Some of them I was planning on adding to my movie & tv car garage.

@@kurtpunchesthings2411People that have them still have them, but you can't buy them. Some of these cars you can find on the street, but others you can't, and some of the cars you can find on the street are considered too hot to put in your garage/LSC (which means they're impossible to keep).

Just a friendly reminder that if you have a friend that owns any car in the game you can take them down to the Car Meet and buy that exact car. It comes with all the mods and performance upgrades as well.

There is no reason to clear the website though.... There was no problem with it before. There where options to filter to the type you wanted like 2 door, 4 door or luxury. This is just a reason to make them drip feed or limited time in the fucking car shops around the place. Make them feel rare so they can jack the price of them up to make people buy more shark cards so they don't miss their chance of getting it. This shit just makes me want to get a mod menu to be able to spawn any car I want now cause fuck Rockstar and their drip feed bullshit.

It's kind of sad that instead of adding a SEARCH BAR to the websites, they instead just removed a lot of actually great and useful cars from the websites, like the XA-21, one of my favourite cars in GTAO. Also, they didn't remove them from the game completely, you just can't buy them form the websites anymore. You can still get them from other players, wheelspins, ls car meet prize, or from a car dealership. Maybe car dealerships will have a purpose now.

I absolutely agree with what you said in terms of GTA Online it really is a shitshow and it's sad because GTA O had so much potential to be a good Multiplayer game. At least we still have the Campaign, which I really enjoyed playing trough and I'm still going to play. It's the only good thing about GTA V that's left...

This is by FAR the worst dlc this game has EVER received. Every single one of these cars are now unusable in racing events. You can't propose the use of a car which is impossible to buy. Not only that but a huge amount of these cars are some of the most enjoyable to drive in the game. You would very often see many of them in car selections for competitive racing events, and now you won't see any if nothing changes. In fact many people in the competitive community on pc have declared the game dead. It's absolutely impossible to host a high stakes event spanning over multiple races anymore. And this is not even counting the issues they created by blacklisting every single prop that regular players don't have access to. So many tracks on pc contain modded props that have now been replaced with blue barriers. Countless tracks are now unplayable and will need to be rebuilt from the ground up, if it's even possible to rebuild them. I'm just baffled by rockstar's decisions. Unsalvageable company. Awful dlc.
I totally agree, i also dislike the fact that they had removed a few updates ago, i do not remember exactly, about a year ago i believe, SO MANY ADVERSARY MODES, RACES AND MISSIONS, LIKE seriously, only the 30 % is remaining now and i liked a lot of the now removed stuff.

@@pedinhu18 you can use them, but in events I mentioned you are expected to practice for each race. You can't practice without the car. Of course you can still participate in the race because cars can be shared during the race but you will be off the pace of everyone who has practiced.

It's sad that instead of adding a search option they did this, but that's not even the worst. The absolute worst part about this is it's probably gonna be at the vinewood car club (atleast most of those vechicles) and it's only for GTA+ members and it's only for PS5, and the other bad thing is, they didn't even remove those from the game files, they're still in there so it didn't free any space up (I mean hard drive space)

I started liking cars a while ago and i'm lucky i bought a lot of classics like the stinger some months ago, i'm stilled pissed i didnt get some more.
As someone that has almost all those cars after years of waiting (I usually bought them on discount only) and even so I am missing a few cars that I wanted from that list. It was really simple what needed to be done add a filter to the websites by brand or by class but no they decided to remove them probably to release a few every week and reduce even more the discounted content. New players will suffer so much with this. The worse is that they didnt even give an excuse as to why they did that

There is no excuse. What they want is for new players to buy shark cards to get new vehicles, which is why, even the simplistic car is now 1.3+million. If you look back to older versions of GTA Online, all these cars were a couple thousand to a couple hundred thousand.

What’s worse is the fact that this could have been done for a reason, but it wasn’t. A while ago, maybe 2 years ago or so, some of the community complained that the excessive amount of cars nobody buys is just extra stuff your computer has to render, so larger files, making the game unnecessary larger. When they removed some cars, I figured this was why, but I still have some of these in my garages, which means they weren’t completely removed from the game, and so they weren’t removed for the reason of clearing up space. Rockstar literally got rid of some of these super cool cars for no reason at all

Wow, I must have been one of the few lucky ones then cuz i,logged on today to go check all the removed cars I heard about were getting pulled out but my game hadn't updated the file yet so all the cars were actually still there and available to buy, ended up buying like 20 of the OG cars I loved and knew weren't gonna be there after my game updated! I still cant believing theyve done this....
Really nice to see they took out the countach..... that wasn't like the main thing I drove everywhere or something

I was wanting that. I was also wanting the Ford GT, the 1950s cadillac they removed (The same model Hank Williams died in, same color as his on the website and everything) the 0:43 car, and probably a lot more I'm forgetting.

THERE WILL BE NO GTA6 ONLINE - This is not GTA5 Online anymore - it's GTA Online. It's only shipped with GTA5. This is a seperate product. And it will live its zombie life as long as people pay enough for it. If not - it's gone and dusted like RDR Online.

Honestly. GTA 6’s story mode will probably be good. But the Online is going to be an over-monetized hellscape. They’re probably going to expect players to pay a monthly subscription just to go online, despite the fact console users already have to do that. I’d love to dream that the greediness now is just Rockstar wringing out as much money as they can from Gta 5 before restarting and going back to their roots. But when the ceo of take-two literally says their games aren’t monetized ENOUGH, that dream dies. GTA online *alone* makes millions a month. If that plus the rest of the games take-two oversees isn’t enough, nothing will be.

Because they know those will get Shark Card sales, so they won’t touch them.

the funny thing is that a lot of those cars removed prob was a very affordable option for someone that starts and doesn't know how to make money so can't afford smth good
The worst part is some cars are now completely un-obtainable. For example; the Ford GT (Bullet) cannot be saved off of the road because it's counted as "high end". And now you can't buy it, either. You'd have to hopelessly wait for it to appear on the casino wheel or at a car dealership, but even then, I don't think Rockstar would ever put cars from 2013 on the podium.
Yeah, and btw people from some countries (like Poland) will have the worst time ever getting these cars now because we can't use the wheel at the casino
When was the last time you saw anybody driving a Bullet? How many in the last year? This car has been available for a decade, don't worry about it.

What's funny is a lot of these are staples when I play, I use the riata, contender, alpha, seven-70 very frequently when just doing random stuff on the game.
I’m glad I got the Torero the day before the update dropped. I returned recently after 5 years away, and a bunch if cars I owned back in the day got pulled, along with ones I wanted.

A huge amount of the playerbase is kids. So you can have your corporate RP, race, competitive communities but the cold mechanical suits at R look only at numbers. No one cares about me driving my sound proof black cogniscenti like a balla, they care about the meta kids.
Good amount of Motorcycles were removed too, such as my most used bike: The Hakachou. I didn't use the Drag mainly because I like doing wheelies (as well as the obvious price difference) and the Hakachou could do wheelies that lasted so long, it was so fast before and after being fully modded. I'm sad no one will now get to experience why I prefer this bike over the Bati now.

They're going to have to reverse this decision. Even Brophy has told them they can't be doing this. Strangely though, I think I have like 80% of all the cars removed.

who’s brophy? unless if he’s the ceo of rockstar games, he doesn’t matter, and he’s not him. They don’t have to reverse this decision. They have done stuff more controversial than this in the past and gotten away with it in the end. Most people keep playing the game anyways. It’s a business strategy. Just wait a couple weeks and see how they will get you to spend even more money on these cars than before. This decision will stay final, one thing Rockstar doesn’t do is change their mind.
I have most of them but I'm still pissy about this. A lot of these cheaper cars I used as placeholders to sell when new cars came along and they were easier to rebuy and customize. I sold the brawler last time I played it was some time in 22. But I had every intention of buying it again later
@@GuardianWithAGu broughy is a decently well known gta racing KZheadr. Him and failrace do A LOT of racing on gta5 and both channels are going to take MASSIVE hits in their content because of this update (failrace just used an 811 in his video today). This is a bad move by rockstar
